Property was very tired. Breakfast food is good but the service is terrible. Nothing is self serve. Waited 50 minutes for food to arrive one morning and 30 minutes the next. Almost missed our city tour. Couch and chair in room worn out.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Our room was a twin room which was beautifully decorated. In the morning the breakfast provided was delicious and substantial. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family and friends.

Staff, room, breakfast was excellent. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Staff were so nice to drag my heavy suitcase up 3 flights! Staff also arranged a taxi at 5:30 am for the airport. All around, it was a great experience.

What a special gem in the heart of Dublin! Close to St. Stephens Green park and all the fun of Grafton Street but tucked away on a quiet street. The rooms are so beautiful and cozy with comfortable beds, great rain showers in the bathroom, and a hearty breakfast included every morning. I highly recommend this guest house and know that our family will be back!

Pleasant but tepid reception

This guesthouse had a stellar breakfast and my room was immaculately clean. My room was the size of a closet, but it was a very nice closet. The only recommendation would be that they should replace their staircase carpet soon because it was very worn. Staff was helpful and carried my heavy bag up and down the stairs for me. They also gave great recommendations for dinner.

Room was nice and cleaned, however, sewage smell coming from either sink or shower .

The Kilronan House was a wonderful choice for us. We wanted to stay in a non-American hotel with authentic character, and KH was both charming and in a lovely part of Dublin. The staff was great - excellent service, excellent breakfast and everyone went out of their way to be helpful. We liked the fact that it was not right in the city center, but accessible to everything. The house itself is showing a bit of wear and there is no elevator, but staff was helpful with bags. Thank you, KH!

This is a beautiful property. Staff was excellent. I almost didn't get free parking but he said he had room. Then we were supposed to leave early so he parked us out front. Our flight was delayed so we ended up paying for parking in morning. Of all the places we stayed, this place was extremely expensive for what is was. Our last night in Ireland.

Wonderful hotel, not fancy but definitely with attention to detail. Very comfortable beds, warm and clean. Only a minor comment, have your staff improve their language skills, I had two Father Ted moments trying to communicate with one member of staff.

The Expedia page says reception is 24/7 but it took a while for someone to come to check me in, I arrived past midnight and they where probably not expecting me so better to notify before if thats your case.
Overall it went really well, the room was cozy and clean. Staff were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was good and nicely served.

The hotel is an old building/house that has been renovated into a B&B style location. Our room was beautifully decorated. It was on the small size though, but we were gone all day sightseeing so we didn't need much room. The only issue I had with the size was that the desk chair, when in use, blocked the path from the other side of the room. The bathroom and shower was clean and fresh towels were replenished daily. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom so when I needed to use the hairdryer, I had to plug in to the outlet by the desk. Of course, this then caused me to dry my hair outside of the bathroom. Not a big deal since my hair is short and it doesn't take long to dry. Both bedside tables had light switches where one person could have a night light for reading. And both bedsides had USB plugs that allowed to recharge our devices. Also, even though the description on the website stated the rooms did not have TV's, that must be old info, as the rooms do have TVs. A big plus is the daily breakfast menu which is included in the room rate. They had coffee, cereals, fruit salad, omelets and a "full English breakfast". Also, don't hesitate to ask for an Irish Coffee. They'll serve you one, free, whenever you ask. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to several interesting sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. Be aware there are no elevators. If you have problems with stairs, be sure you request a lower level room. Our room was on a third level.

The staff were fantastic. They were very helpful when I was having technical issues with my laptop. The staff also assisted with finding restaurants and local attractions. The room was very comfortable.

The stay was really pretty good. But the service was definitely lacking a few times. If you can get them to acknowledge you, they were generally slightly rude. Definitely not what you expect from Irish hospitality.

I had an excellent stay at Kilronan. It was clean and the staff was very helpful and attentive. It's a short walk to the shopping center and public transportation is close by. The location was perfect! The breakfast was delicious!

Very much enjoyed our stay , great location, friendly staff and a breakfast to die for. Given the reason why we were laid over in Dublin due to the virus issue we couldn't have been in a nicer place - charming!!.

The room was a good size; staff was very personable and helpful; breakfast was outstanding and more than enough for anyone. The directions from the airport were great and the bus drops you off right across the street from the Inn, very centrally located. .

Very small room and shower facilities. WiFi was not great . Needs an update !
