I stayed in the Metro Hotel the night befgore mt early flight to Vilnius. I found the hotel met my short-term needs perfectly. I requested an early wake-up call which was made on time. The complimentary shuttle to Dublin Airport was appreciated. Very satisfied with my stay.

A very pleasant stay at the Metro Hotel; the room was very clean and nicely furnished, although we we’re a bit disappointed to not fina a refrigerator in the room.
But the staff was all very helpful and friendly, the paid parking was affordable and fairly convenient, and the restaurant was wonderful - we ate there several times during our stay!
The airport shuttle service was perfect and stress-free.
Would definitely recommend, especially for travelers with cars!

The hotel was in a good location close to the airport. The room was clean and nicely remodeled but the hallways were worn down.
They had a great restaurant but the service for lunch was very slow.

In the room there were pistachio shells lying on the floor which made me feel like the room wasn’t cleaned properly. It was a very nice hotel though.

We stayed here 1 night before a flight the next day. Was very well organised. No issues with check in. Reception were friendly and helpful. We used the parking and was all explained to us. Got the shuttle bus over to airport. Short walk to terminal 1, but further to terminal 2. Room was clean, comfy bed. We were on the 2nd floor on the corner so we could hear the traffic and people outside but it was fine. If you are a light sleeper would ask for a room higher up.

Had an early flight out of Dublin so needed fast connection to the airport. Gave back my car at the rentacar the night before and got a shuttle ride to the airport in the morning. Comfy bed and excellent shower.

Shower and hand wash gel dispensers in master bedroom were empty upon arrival. But reception staffs were wonderful.

Food isn’t great and neither is the beer. Breakfast is very strict 7.00am earliest. This isn’t ideal if you have an early flight but is what it is I guess.

For $175 a night you would expect a nice location..very scary. nothing in the area to walk to. room very weird, had two seperate rooms ..not sure why. main bedroom size of a stamp if you close the door very clostraphobic and if you close the bedrrom door the light in the hall way goes off and on randomly and a bright exit sign.
staff very unfriendly upon checkin and at the restaurant. food very mediocre and we paid $37 for a steak that was tasteless.

Quite a bit of water damage throughout. The beds were terrible. The pillows were also bad. Lots of little ants. One of us ended up with gastro issues after eating in the lounge. The highlight of the entire stay was our server Benjamin. He was great. I know this hotel is close to the airport, but I’d honestly never stay here again. I would have given 1 star but the service at the lounge gained another star

Windows might be single pain. Traffic sounded like driving thru the room. Room 110 must also be right over a bus stop waiting area.

The Metro Hotel Dublin airport was located close to the airport and was very convenient to travel to the airport with the free shuttle that was provided. The rooms were large enough and clean. The first time we stayed, we were upgraded to the apartment. The apartment was quite spacious, had a beautiful view from the balcony that connected all the rooms. The restaurant served delicious food and drinks.

Very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Close to the airport, and a bus just outside that took us to the heart of the city and back. The airport shuttle was just for the metro, and was on time. Everything was awesome.

We booked one night as we had a flight the next morning. Our room never had hot water, neither in the shower or sink. Not in the evening, not in the morning. In addition the wall mounted TV turned itself on 4 times during the night, flooding the room with a bright screen. Both of these items disrupted our stay. When we reported these to the front desk clerk on check out we were told “ oh yeah, we know about the water” and “we will make a note about the TV”.
Really? That’s how you treat a complaint, provide good service? We should have been informed about the water issue on check in and compensation should have been offered

I usually don't bother with expensive hotels, because I didn't think I'd get any more value for my dollar, and BOY was I right. The mattress was hard, the pillows paper thin, the wallpaper peeling, and the traffic noise so loud that my wife kept asking if the window was open (it wasn't). When I'm paying $150/night I can live with that, but when one pays $340/night, one would expect a modicum of comfort, if not luxury.

The staff at desk and In restaurant were friendly. Room 308 was noisy because of the traffic.
