whoever was saying this place was awful clearly stayed somewhere else. we had a great time and everyone was so nice and helpful! the view was absolutely amazing and it’s right near pier park which was really cool. we would totally come back!!

This was a great spot for beach time, the location was good for me, an older woman, because it was east of the craziness that PCB can be. The room was clean, and very nice, comfortable beds, however the A/C unit is very old and not at all functioning well to the point that the inn also had a dehumidifier in the room. I have one just like it in my camper, and they work, but there was so much moisture in the air in that room that I had to empty the tank twice in a one night stay and still it shut down due to being full in the middle of the night, forcing me to get up and empty it. It and the barely functioning A/C were also very loud. I am really hoping they can put some money into these A/C units because it is otherwise a great property. Because of the price and location and the balcony and beach, I'd stay again, but I don't think I could do more than a night or two. And this was in May. Definitely not going in July or August.

We only had one night at this hotel en route from New Orleans to Orlando but wish we had stayed longer. Our ground floor room over looked the beach which is one of the best sand beaches we have ever walked on.

Love the Casa Loma…smaller old school motel right on the beach. Up to date rooms, nice decor. Every room has ocean view. Swimming pool is saltwater and heated. Definitely coming back!!

The employees were so friendly and superb!! When I walked into the room is smelled so fresh and clean and the interior decor was so beautiful!! The beach is maybe a 2 minute walk and we stayed on the 4th floor. I have nothing negative to say at all and hope to only stay at this one hotel for all future vacations!

I felt the hotel deff needs some updated bathrooms. Some nooks and crannies were in need of some TLC, and I did find some hairs in the sink and bathroom. Over it could have used to fine tuned cleaning but the room smelled clean and my husband and I enjoyed a weekend together exploring the area. The decorations were bright and cheerful and it was a nice stay. It was decently priced and right on the beach so I can't complain. Our room had a beautiful view as well.

Location is great! Beach is fantastic! Staff was helpful; accept for a morning we were woken up even though we had a do not disturb sign out. We stayed 9 days and had a kitchenette. It had all the basic items anyone would need, including dishes and cookware. Our family prefers thicker blankets and fluffier pillows so we bought our own to use to add extra comfort. We were a low maintenance and didn't ask for room service or cleaning. I know they would have been happy to do so if we wanted. The walls are not as thin as I expected and was pleasantly surprised. The beds were decent, not too hard or too soft. We enjoyed our stay and we most definitely would return to this location again! We stayed beginning of Feb and the rates were fantastic!

This is an older motel that has been kept up. We loved our view from our balcony and enjoyed the quiet sound of the waves coming in.
It is not perfect, but it was a fabulous experience and we highly recommend it.

THIS HOTEL IS A STAPLE TO THIS CITY. IT IS AGED BUT THE REMODEL WAS DONE WELL AND IN GOOD TASTE. IT FEATURES VINTAGE PHOTOS OF THE CITY IN THE ROOMS WHICH WAS A GREAT GESTURE. THE EXTERIOR STILL HOLDS THE SAME OLD CHARM. THE LOCATION IS GREAT AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO MANY STORES AND EATING ESTABLISHMENTS. THE FRONT OFFICE WAS FRIENDLY AND MADE CHECK IN VERY EASY. THE PROPERTY WAS CLEAN AND MAINTAINED
MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE BED WAS A LITTLE TOO HARD FOR MY LIKING.

It was average. Poor security meant it was very noisy on New Years eve. People shot off so many fireworks into the night.

All rooms face to the sea, the view is excellent. I stayed two days ,the problem is that AC is not working very well ,it was very cold at night.

The view and proximity to beach are outstanding! You are literally on the beach and can see it from your balcony. The beds are not so good-- hard, not firm, and not comfortable. We did have roaches in the kitchen area but they were not overwhelming. The room was reasonable but needed a good and thorough scrubbing on the floors, next to the stove, and in all the corners. All in all, I would not recommend for a neat freak but for the price and location, it was a fair deal.

It was an older building but i was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean the room was. Loved the grounds! Only complaint would have to be the bed was very uncomfortable. If the mattress had been better would have been EXCELLENT.

Better than when I stayed there 8 years ago. When it says "Remodeled" that may be pushing it. Doors falling off hinges, shower valves from the dark ages, hot water either scalds or freezes you. If you are going to remodel you need to remodel it all. No blankets on beds, beds hard as a rock. Dehumidifier sounded like a diesel tractor. Not what I consider a comfortable stay.

We loved that it was on the Gulf of Mexico and on a Beautiful Beach. We also enjoyed the heated pool. The staff were friendly and helpful!

The rooms have been remodeled. Patio looks right at the ocean. Pool is nice. Walk right out to the beach. Only a few restaurants in walking distance but a 5-10 minute drive gets you everything you could want.

I like staying at Casa Loma as it is on the beach and does not cost a fortune. Of course, it does not have an elevator which is inconvenient, and it is close to where the back beach road and middle beach road intersect so it is noisy, but, for the price per night it is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are clean, the balcony is a good size to relax on, having the sink outside the bathroom area is a great plus, and the staff is great! It is also not far from Thomas Drive or Thomas Donuts, which is a plus in my book.

Got a room on the top floor which had an amazing view of the gulf. The room itself was clean and the staff was all very helpful. The 2 negatives I had are that the bed was very firm and I had a hard time getting comfortable. The other is that the shower/sink water temperature randomly changed back and forth from cold to burning hot so we were not able to utilize the shower
