Kitchen island with seating for four, counter-top highchair, door that opens up to the screened in porch, dining table with seating for up to six, complimentary coffee pods and tea with Keurig coffee maker. Master Suite Bedroom: King bed, workspace area, flat-screen TV, bathroom suite with walk-in shower, free standing tub, large vanity with double sinks, hairdryer, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, Pack & Play, USB charger on all bedside lamps. The Neighborhood: Escalante Escape is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones! There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Getting Around: This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
