The ambience and leafy surrounds of the property.
It rained the whole stay and humidity was very high. Perhaps consider installing more cooling/heating options.

This was such a cute space. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was in a really quiet location but still close to the route we were travelling on. It had everything we needed for a comfortable night and the owner’s instructions were really clear.

Nice accommodation, but no air-conditioning made it uncomfortable as it was very humid.

Location. Garden setting. Atmosphere.

Liked the location. The bed was comfy. It was a largish well stocked cabin. Attractive grounds.
Dpidnt like - The drive in point wasn't clearly detailed in the email & we ended up annoying the guy in the other house on the property who said it happens all the time. The bathroom was external & physically challenging. A shower over a clawed bath with no handgrips to assist the climb in. The shower rail fell down while I was in the shower. It wasn't secured properly.
The entrance to the property wasn't clear in the email sent & we ended up annoying the guy in the other house on thenproperty who said it happens often.
The bathroom was external- not great at night or in rainy weather. The bathroom was physically challenging with a shower over a clawed bath & no handrail for the orthopaedically challenged. The overhead shower rail was poorly secured & fell down while taking a shower. It wasn't secured properly. The toilet seat was wonky & when the light was on during the night it highlighted anyone sitting on.the toilet.

The photos of place was so different to other accommodation – quaint and rustic. I really wanted to like it.
On arrival the phone number listed would not connect, we waited for 10 – 15 minutes for this to be answered in order to locate the keys. During this time I experienced a high level of discomfort due to continual mosquito bites – at the end of 15 minutes I was totally covered in bites. There were pots of stagnant water (including the bird bath) full of mosquito larvae throughout the garden. The garden needs a lot of love & care to bring it to the same standards as displayed in the photos.
On entry to the apartment, I needed to kill 2 large spiders (one was a red back). There were cobwebs & layers of dust throughout the clutter in the apartment. The apartment was very hot & had a musty, damp stench. We could not open any windows or doors due to condition of the flyscreens – the one that was there was too fragile to use & others completely missing. It had been a warm day so we missed air flow & air conditioning – the provided fan was exceptionally noisy & did little to lower the temperature.
The kitchen benches were dirty. The pantry & fridge contained variety of food. Some were closed packages, however they also contained some strange items (eg an onion) & lots of opened and partly used packages/cartons eg an open 1 litre carton of milk, that did not even contain enough milk for a cup of coffee for 1 person…. who knows what had been done to the opened packages, especially as it is clear from the note left by the owner that possums & other creatures frequent the property.
It was also very clear from the condition of the apartment that there needs to be maintenance, eg there were missing light globes in the light fixture, the smoke detector was clearly broken & detaching from the ceiling… with this in mind, it is unclear if this apartment would currently meet accommodation safety compliance.
We attempted to contact the owner via email, as earlier we had difficulty doing this by phone – with no response.

Little extras like a robe and some snacks. Lovely soap. Milk for coffee/tea. Comfy bed. Surrounded by greenery.
A couple of maintenance things. Leaky shower thing and bathroom door hard to close - need to keep the possums out!

Quiet location, in a lovely garden setting. Location was ideal for the purpose of our trip.
It was an exceptionally hot day and we missed air-conditioning.
However the portable electric fan was greatly appreciated.

Absolutely first class accommodation. We loved the rustic vibe of the whole place. We will definitively stay here again.
Because you need to go outside to access the bathroom, a umbrella would of been useful by the door. However we found this a minor inconvenience and we appreciated the overall rustic ambiance.

Very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful at night.

Although the room itself was very pleasant, and well set up with generous provisions, it was very cold. The two heaters provided were inadequate to heat the large the room, and one of them frequently stopped working.
Having to go out into the garden to get to the separate toilet and bathroom in cold weather was not pleasant.

Garden was nice, decor was rustic and quite well appointed
Outside bathroom
No proper heating
No smoke detector
Television not working
Many safety issues...uneven surfaces...bathroom fixtures not properly installed...would question government compliance

Very comfortable, characterful accommodation. Well equipped kitchen with loads of essentials - tea, coffee, cereals etc. We will definitely be back!
Need to go outside to get to the bathroom. This is no problem at all in the summer, but not very appealing in the cold! However... cosy dressing gowns and slippers are provided, so it's not TOO much of a hardship!

Clean, warm and the best bed on a cold night. Lots of surprise comforts catered for in the pantry too.
We arrived after dark, so it was a little hard to navigate as not well lit from the street. Bit of a cold run to the outside bathroom during the night as I hadnt realised it was external. It was however well equipped with a lovely bathtub.

The bathroom heater and door being broken.

Everything was great. no issues with anything.

The staff were super helpful and friendly.
The studio was really authentic, cute and extremely welcoming.
It was secluded even though it was at the back of someones home. The birdbath out the front was a pleasure in the morning as the birds used it.
I found the place welcoming, quaint and very peaceful. I would definitely go back there.
I liked everything about it but if it was the middle of winter having to walk out side for the toilet it would be very uncomfortable.

The studio was built 30 years ago and it has great character and is full of antiques! The garden area is stunningly beautiful! I could have stayed for days!
The bathroom is a lovely new addition, however you do have to take a few steps outside to get to it which can be tricky at night!

We chose to eat out everyday but the selection of tea/coffee and cereals was fine. We loved the location; close to the town of Glenbrook but far enough away to have a very quiet and peaceful stay. The hustle and bustle of the tourist part of the Blue Mountains was within a short drive but if on the other hand you want something a little less busy then Glenbrook had every amenity available.
The bathroom was extremely well equipped with every possible need catered for.
For longer stays a closet/wardrobe would be good, otherwise, all of needs were well and truly catered for.

There were many cereal options.
I was not aware the bathroom was outside. The bed was comfortable however there was a velvety blanket and a very thick doona. In summer it didn’t quite work for me.

A wonderful little get-a-away hidden gem not far from Sydney. Will be only to happy to return in the future.

The place was so quaint and different from the run of the mill. So comfortable and everything you need. Bed was amazing.
Maybe some long life milk instead of frozen milk but we were not overly concerned with that. Also may be a new fan that works on different levels. But again this is not a complaint but just some feedback.

Not much. Host was helpful.thank you.

Not disclosed that bathroom was seperate from main building. Found some pins on the floor, left them on cupboard. Not sure about fire detector working. Cobwebs could have been cleaned as it’s the first thing you see.
