Interesting experience staying on a sheep farm; very helpful staff; good meal at the restaurant; limited menu, but reasonably priced and tasty; great views of the countryside; reasonably priced stay for Iceland.

Long gravel road to get to the property, but well-maintained; room was very basic and small, but it was comfortable for Teo people (there were individual cabins and larger rooms for families in a separate building, however)

The view towards the Vatnajökull, we had sunny weather, and the dinner. The lamb is marvelous.

Beautiful sheep farm in a great location. We had amazing views of the glaciers from our room which we didn't know while booking so it was a very pleasant surprise. Room and private bathroom was quite spacious too. Lots of options for breakfast as well. Highly recommend this place.

Our favourite stay in iceland! Brilliant staff, spacious and clean rooms and the food in the restaurant is just to die for. The price-quality is just exceptional, I would love to come back some day!

a little difficult to find but it didn't disappoint

Driving to the property, we were a little unsure. When we arrived to the property, we were blown away. Both literally and figuratively. The wind was fierce, but the rooms were quite. The dinner was AMAZING, and one of the best meals of the trip. The clouds in the sky parted for a few hours to let us have a glimpse of the aurora.

It was very good! The staff were incredibly nice and the breakfast was delicious! It was our first time in Iceland and we miscalculated the distance because of the weather. The car was out of fuel when we got there and they helped us get some. Thank you very much for your help! So we could continue our journey in peace.

The hut was basic but had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the hut was warm. A particular highlight was the spectacular view we had of the Northern lights from this guest house. When it got too cold to stand outside any longer, we went back inside the room for a bit and still had a great view of the aurora hanks to the large windows on both sides of the hut. We were supposed to have a room with a shared bathroom but were upgraded to our own hut with private bathroom which was a lovely bonus too. Great value for money and would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting the area.

Comfy, cozy and incredibly warm (but not too warm) room that we really enjoyed after a very icy and glacier day. The beds were amazingly comfy, and the breakfast in the morning was a very positive surprise in terms of the choice. Would definitely recommend, even though it is a bit of an extra drive from Jökulsárlón!

The location was beautiful if you can overlook the smell of a working farm. The staff were amazing and very helpful.

Our room appeared to be half built. The verandah was not railed and had an unfinished part at the end of it, the internal doors were difficult to close and very difficult to open again if you did manage to shut them. The bathroom door handle on the inside was falling off. My 10 year old son got locked in the bathroom as the door wouldn't open once he had closed it. The only access to the room was via a steep exterior staircase which was also not hand railed for the last 6 or so steps. Lugging luggage down these was very difficult and dangerous. The staff were amazing and did offer to assist with luggage which was lovely of them. The price tag attached to this property did not match my expectation or the pictures. Location alone is not enough to support the price in my opinion. Lovely place and lovely staff but over priced for what it was.

The people working there are just lovely! We arrived pretty late and they were so nice about it. We arrived after dinner hours but they still went out of their way to fix us at least something to eat. And the guesthouse was so big. It was just perfect!

One of the best cottages I’ve been to in Iceland. The place was tidy and cozy. The staff were friendly and the food was to die for! Poka is an amazing host and cook 👩‍🍳 if you are going to visit Vestrahorn, Stokkness and Höfn this is your place ! ☺️☺️☺️

Staff members were fantastic. The one who was there on the evening we arrived offered to let us know if the Northern Lights were happening and she did so. Room was comfortable with clean bathroom and good space. Easy parking (plenty of space). Dinner was very nice and we got to meet other travellers too.
