Lovely host. Very helpful picking me up and giving advice on local public transport as this was my first time alone in Dublin. Very nice room and bed.
Not a major issue but the radiator was gurgling loudly all throughout the night.

The room was very comfortable
The location a little bit far

They were so helpful, picked me up from the airport and dropped me off—much less expensive than taking a cab or Uber. They drove me to a pub for dinner after dropping off my things and gave me really good ideas on places to go. Super warm, friendly.
Nothing, really, it was what I expected

Great location, ten minutes walk to two large supermarkets and a bus stop from where you can easily get to Dublin by bus. Nice house and friendly host. The photos on the booking correspond to reality.

Very good value for starters. You would not find anything in Dublin as nice as this for that price.
I had minor surgery on my shoulder yesterday and I really needed a comfortable night. The bed was dreamlike - I managed to sleep on one side because it was so comfy.
The host, Patrick provides great communication. He is lovely too. His tenant who lives at the house, whose name escapes me, is a gem. This is the reason there are females only. This makes this place extra special because she is so quiet and kind, even though she doesn't work there. There's a great feeling of safety too.
The place is well decorated and pretty. They've thought of everything, including toothbrush and toothpaste which I was so glad of since I'm travelling today and as others mentioned, female beauty and sanitary products.
The bathroom is lovely and clean and the shower is very good. I didn't notice any problem with water pressure. The bathroom is shared but honestly I think we were the only ones who used it plus the only other person I saw, the lovely tenant actually was so welcoming that you won't be embarrassed slipping out in your pj's.
I didn't use the shared facilities downstairs but everything was so nicely decorated and super clean and tidy.
I'm simply picking at straws because this place is a solid 9 in my opinion, and I'm a frequent traveller.
Perhaps some people might like a top sheet. It could be an idea to leave one in the cupboard in case it's needed. The room might be warm at night.

Wonderful host that was well organised with house info and local attraction info.
Room was nicely styled and clean.
Kitchen into sun room area could be tidier.

The place is accessible by bus which is very convenient. The room was really cozy and comfortable I really felt like sleeping in my own room. They also prepared toothbrush, sanitary pads/tampons just in case if you needed them. There was also iron and hair dryer available. The room and the towels were clean. It is a quiet area but it felt like a safe area so I had a really good sleep. The bathroom is shared but I didn't have an issue with it. The host, Patrick, also allowed me to use the living room to watch TV and to cook in the kitchen. He is a great host and is very welcoming. I definitely see myself coming back here again.

* The bedroom was tidy and clean. The bathroom also.
* Nice neighborhood in the suburbs of Dublin.
* The host Patrick was prompt and courteous.
* I never had to send a copy of my ID to a private host before. If the host wanted to check my ID, he should be at home at the check-in time (the same procedure as in a hotel or Airbnb). I understand his security reasons but what about mine? I don't want to send a copy of my ID to every private person I'm renting from for a few days. This information should be included on his listing.
* Low hot water pressure in the shower - not good for rainy and cold days.

I loved staying at Patrick's hostel :). I made a last minute booking and still everything was perfect. The accommodation is in a suburb of Dublin which gave me way more rest than staying in hostels in the city center as I did before in Dublin. Still the house is quite easily to reach through bus lines C1 and C2. I felt really welcomed and safe at the accommodation :)
