Good location and easy parking for the hotel (Hotel warns you not to park in the neighbouring cafe slots, threats of fines etc). A budget hotel but good value for the money.
Breakfast advertised as continental - I'm afraid not. Its cereal, yoghourt, toast, tea/coffee only.

Useful location. Spacious. Comfortable bed.
Bathroom not clean. Room right by lobby where groups of guys was up drinking cans late - didn't feel great them sitting out there knowing I'd come in on my own and door lock didn't feel very secure. Limited parking.

The room was cold, I turned the heater to full as soon as I entered the room however the room was still cold 3 hrs later.

The room was clean and comfortable , extra warmth if we needed it and we did , we had been walking the Rutland Round and got cold and wet , the room was great to come back to , our booked taxi had let us down but we were able to pick up a ready meal and microwave it later on , it meant we could have a hot meal without having to go out again
Slightly more choice at breakfast , it was basic but still most acceptable , probably should have just asked for more marmalade or a crossant , but it's not a complaint .

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was continental self service and for the price we paid for the room was excellent value. Room was clean.
For me the bed was too soft but that is just my preference. Other than that the stay was great.

Not keen on set up for breakfast. Decided not to bother

I was given a ground floor room, which was great as I was travelling with my dogs. The staff were so pleasant & welcoming & the breakfast next morning surpassed expectation. This hotel was brilliant for an overnight stop. I had stayed there 2 weeks earlier & wouldn;t hessitate to stay there again. Thank you Redwings Rutland!
I would have liked the bath shower to have had a hand held attachment, as I don't like just an overhead shower. But this is a very minor point. If a hairdryer had been available to borrow from Reception, this would have been a bonus!
