Heart of Chattanooga

Clean, great location, nice pool, great staff!

No complimentary water in room & no ice machine. Staff was nice to get it from kitchen but would be more convenient for guests to be able to get it. They did have a water refillable station but you needed a water bottle to be able to fill it.

The whole vibe of this hotel was fantastic! The train cars were so cute and the bed was so comfortable! I enjoyed the restaurant right on the property.

Lovely hotel, best of our trip.

Amazing location, super comfortable, great shower and lovely design throughout. I’d very happily stay again.

I missed having a breakfast available but a cafe close by was outstanding so it worked out well 😁😁

Over all, we enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. Was a great value.

Bell man was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Front desk personnel assisted with a charge mistake and rectified it immediately.

I was surprised that coffee was not available in the lobby free of charge, charge for coffee in the room was ridiculously priced. Need to ensure the refrigerator is marked that the items inside are "for purchase only" otherwise "do not open".

We would stay here again, no questions asked.

There is really nothing not to like about this hotel. The location is great. It is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to about anywhere you need to go. The decor was absolutely amazing! The room was very clean and the staff was very nice.

Really there wasn’t any negatives, the only thing I can think of is my hot water went out in the shower for a minute or two but it came right back.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Hotel mit einer wunderschönen Lobby liegt direkt neben dem Bahnhof mit dem Choo Choo. Man konnte zu Fuß nette Lokale und den Bahnhof erreichen. Die Zimmer (wir sind spontan eine Nacht länger geblieben und einmal umgezogen) waren groß, sehr gut ausgestattet und die besten, die wir auf einem langen Road Trip hatten. Frühstück hatten wir nicht gebucht. Waren in einer tollen Bäckerei um die Ecke, Niedlov‘s. Wir bekamen Gutscheine für einen Willkommensdrink in einer wunderschönen Bar nebenan.

Es war etwas hellhörig, weil es ein Zimmer mit Verbindungstür war. Nebenan und gegenüber wohnte eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern, die bis Mitternacht sehr laut waren. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts. Trotzdem war es ein sehr schöner komfortabler Aufenthalt.

I wish that there was an ice machine where I can get my own ice! I also wish a microwave was available to use somewhere in the building . Needed more light!!!

Perfect stay downtown! Clean and comfy!!

Very clean rooms! Loved the uniqueness of the rooms! Basic toiletries provided even some great smelling soap, shampoo, and conditioner! Perfect location downtown! Beds super comfy! Quiet location!

Twice was enough trust me spend more for nicer

I like that it is close to our favorite restaurant

The fact that this was our second stay… first time was awful but it was during renovations…. Toilet handle kept coming off, manager kept reiterating that he wasn’t charging me this time, was originally given the wrong room, have 4 charges on my card! They charge 75.00 for incidentals and that is completely fine, but if you have to charge something…. That is a whole nother charge!!! I’ve had bills decline now out of my account today thanks to that! Second time was enough for me and my family

Very helpful and the best location for the price

The location for restaurants, breweries, and entertainment is the best. All with in walking distance.

Very eclectic and unique. But just, and I mean, slightly dated. But that is part of the charm.

Our stay was ok. The hotel is undergoing more maintenance than I had imagined.

The property was historic and it seemed safe for the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations and is basically torn apart. It is very loud and the water was turned off one day we were there. The first night we were in our room the phone in our room range 7 times during the night beginning around 8:30 p.m. and not stopping until we left the hotel the next morning. Also the walls are very thin.

The location and the staff

I was very disappointed in the state of the hotel and surrounding grounds. Everything was under renovation and was not told about this prior to making reservations. The grounds were ropped off making it difficult to walk from one Part of the hotel to the other without tripping over debris.

The staff were great, the restaurants were great. our only complaint was not disclosing the construction.

we have stayed at the choo choo a few times and have always loved it. we look forward to the gardens.

the property is under renovation, no where on the website does it state that construction is going on. The pool is under renovation, and the gardens as well. we traveled with our children, they were upset that the only things they had to do were not available.

Only for the location

The staff was great; super friendly with little tips. The location was perfect!

There was a ton of construction, so nothing looked like the pictures which I could have gotten past because the location was so great (we could go elsewhere for the atmosphere), BUT the rooms were super uncomfortable. The beds were probably the worst we had ever slept on... ever, and the AC kept making loud banging noises as it would go on and off waking us up.

Wonderful experience

I liked how everything surrounding you was in locomotive theme. Was so fun doing all the things they offered here. So much to do. So little time to do all of them.

Found a squiggly dark black hair in the bathtub which indicated that it might not have been cleaned before we rented the room.
