The staff at the front desk answered the phone at 1:34 a.m.
They were honest about not having a room ready and the condition of the room and were willing to issue a refund without too many complications.
They did not have a room prepared for my stay, although it was booked 3 months in advance.

We didn't stay there, after arriving at the property to see that it looks NOTHING like the pictures. Did not feel safe and therefore found other accommodations. It looks like this property has been turned into a property catering to weekly/monthly residents.

My room had everything I needed. It was on the smaller side but I didn’t mind.
Had a couple of minor hiccups but the staff took care of them immediately.

Good location for the town, bar and food right next to the hotel also with friendly staff. Very fair price for a well maintained location.
No real complaints

The room wasn't clean very well the phones don't work in the rooms properly, the owner himself is not a very nice guy. And most definitely was not worth the price. Especially for not having breakfast or even coffee there's no coffee in the rooms themselves either. Some of the rooms you can't even control the air conditioning and heating. Just all around poor quality for the price you pay.

Booked ahead and when we arrived they didn't have a room like we booked. Dude at office was rude to husband.

A bed and hot shower after a long drive.
No AC I could control, musty smell I could taste, all linen stained.
3.0
Comfortable beds, cold AC
Cracked bathtub that sliced my foot, smelled awful, stains and trash everywhere, added fees

The ice machine was out of order.

The A/C worked.
The TV didn't work, the toilet ran all the time unless you turned the valve to the water supply off. The room was a non-smoking room but the bedspread has burn holes in it.

The main reason I have stopped at this motel repeatedly is the security of my belongings and the ability to park 5 feet from the room.
This motel is also a great location if you are planning to visit the Eisenhower library and Abilene is a nice quiet town.
Ike’s is a good restaurant in the same parking lot as the motel and Sonic is across the street.
The motel is very dated but clean.

Location is good. Bed was comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave provided. Floors have been updated with vinyl plank flooring and were very clean.
There was a little water on the bathroom floor when we checked in, but I assumed it was from a recent mopping. We found out later that the seal on the toilet was broken and toilet water flooded the bathroom during the night.
Our room came with two threadbare towels, one of which had a hole that was larger than 6 inches.
There is no way to control the temperature of the room, and when I asked at the desk to have the air conditioning turned on, the woman seemed surprised that we found the room too warm (it was 80+ degrees inside) and said her husband would turn on the A/C when he got back. It never came on. She did bring me a fan that wouldn’t oscillate, but at least we had some moving air. The town smelled terrible, like a rendering plant nearby, so having to leave the window open with the fan was not ideal, and not only because of the smell but also because of the noise.
The only soap provided was a tiny bar that was broken in half, so I put one sliver in the shower and one on the sink. Shampoo was in a plastic packet like a ketchup packet and very little of it. There was nothing else.
The walls in both the room and the bathroom had been repaired with sheet rock and mud but left unpainted. While that did not bother me, It did leave an overall impression of lack of attention to detail.

No service before 2nd day. No clean towels, tracy wasn't picked up and bed wasn't made. On line booking said breakfast was included. No breakfast.
