Looking out to the sea, Alba Vilas is a beautiful, unusually spacious ( 9ft ceilings), 2 bed/2 bath apartment situated in a cul-de-sac. A genuine 15min walk to the Marina and 20 mins to the boardwalk and lovely Blue Flag beach of Meia Praia and the town of Lagos. One of two large terraces lead directly to the pool, spa pool and landscaped garden. There is a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom which has a bath and stylish basin. A twin room has an adjacent bathroom and shower and both bedrooms have patio doors to a terrace. The modern, fully fitted kitchen with patio doors opens onto a terrace with a built-in BBQ and cooking utensils. There is a cool box with picnic tableware for those days out. A spacious and light and airy lounge/dining room with views to Meia Praia Beach, leads out through patio doors to a south facing terrace, pool and garden. Electric shutters/videophone entry/Parking/Co2+Smoke alarm. Quality wi fi/internet connection and satellite smart tv including Irish, French and Portuguese channels. Maximum guests 5 + 1 cot Alba Vilas is cleaned on arrival and departure. A linen change and clean for 14 day stays. Longer stay arrangements as organised with owner. A highchair and travel cot are available. We have a local manager at Alba Vilas and all cleaning and safety is in line with Government guidelines. Tourist Licence number 60734/AL Not just a rental but our home from home and yours too. There is an English speaking manager who lives locally for all those queries or recommendations. 'Just to say thank you again for the rental of your beautiful apartment at Alba Vilas. We really did have a healthy, chilled out Christmas. The children surfed everyday and I was swimming everyday. The weather was good and we came back with a tan on our faces. The apartment and gardens were really lovely and the directions spot on' (first of several stays). Everthing in the apartment was just right for us, especially the Sky Glass tv with full sports access.
The terrace was the right place to enjoy breakfast looking down to the sea and enjoying the birds visiting us. With easy walking access to the beach boardwalk (20 mins) and the marina for cafes and restaurants (15 mins) it was perfectly positioned in our opinion.
We will be back.

We just returned from a 3 week stay and couldn’t be more pleased. The flat was exactly as described, the views were amazing and the property was very quiet and well-maintained. Considering it was March, the weather was perfect for walking around town or to the beach (which is less than a 10 min walk) which we enjoyed every day of our time in Lagos. Did I mention that it was sunny and warm the entire 21 days we were there? Thanks so much for a wonderful time.

Would highly recommend
We have just returned from a wonderful stay. The apartment was fantastic and is set in beautiful surroundings. Most days we had the pool to ourselves so it was like staying in our own private villa. The communication with Jan was great and any requests we had were met with no problem. Would definitely recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

The bathrooms are nicely furnished, clean and well equipped (including a bath with spa in the ensuite room). The living room has large French windows that open to an enclosed garden with gate leading to beautifully maintained gardens and pools. There is a small pool for young children and lots of sun beds. The town is ~15 minutes walk down a steep hill via the marina. There's also an excellent, sizable supermarket nearby. We discovered an excellent churasqueria behind the bus station that does excellent BBQ chicken and several other hot dishes at very reasonable prices so you can get away with minimal cooking. House has a good location. By car in 5 min we get to the beach or supermarkets. It has a good pool. It’s a Quiet Place. Good bedrooms and a good barbecue to make some fish our meat. It was great for me and my family.

Contact with Jan was very nice! Although we booked very short before arrival,everything went smooth. Description for late Check-in was clear and easy and we arrived very late without any problems! The appartment was very spacious, clean, we had everything we needed, including the beautiful view! Beaches and Lagos Centre are nearby and easy to reach either by foot or car. We definitely would come back and we can definitely recommend this appartment!

Nice big appartment with big terrace and direct acces to the garden with pool area. The appartment is equipped with nearly everything (apart of a dishwasher), the sea view from the terrace is very nice. You can walk to Lagos Harbour and old town as well as to the beach. Perfect contact with the owner, quite recommendable.

Lagos is a perfect spot to stay while exploring the stunning coastline and towns of the algarve. The apartment was well equipped and offered lovely views. Access to the marina area and old town was very handy with dining options close by. Check in was simple and communication with Jan was quick and helpful.

Walking distance to supermarket, shopping and dining. Would stay here again in a heartbeat on return to Lagos. South facing balcony that was hot even in 18 degree weather. Travelers from North America should bring electrical plug adapters as the outlets are 2 prong C type.

An immaculate presented apartment.
The apartment was even better than we could have hoped, immaculate presented giving real sense of luxury yet comfortable. The grounds and Pool area are beautiful and obviously well maintained, the Pool was great for an early morning swim with plenty of room around for sitting in the full sun all day long.
The Sea was around a 10 minute walk away with access to fantastic golden sands, a local shop was a 2 minute walk was great for every day items, a large modern super market was a 15 minute walk which had everything at good prices.
The Marine was a 10 minute walk and had great eateries and bars overlooking the luxury boats, beautiful for watching the sun go down with a local beer, a further 5 minute walk took you into the heart of Lagos, small narrow streets white washed buildings giving a real Portugal experience, busy with bars and restaurants giving fantastic choice of food to suite all tastes.
The rocky beech coves along the coast are outstanding, we walked for an hour through varies caves to reach the peninsular which was breath taking, there are various boat trips available if the walk is too far..
We were picked up from the train station by the villa management team and driven to the apartment, we were offered a food package on arrival which we declined but a great service non the less.
I would highly recommend a stay at this apartment, we will be back for sure.

Brilliant holiday apartment
We very much enjoyed our stay in Alba Vilas. The apartment is spacious, well-decorated and equipped with all necessary items. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample parking space. Perhaps the best feature is the sea view from the living area and the master bedroom. The pools are only a few steps from the terrace of the apartment. One pool is only 45cm deep and was therefore safe for our 3-year old daughter. The beaches and shops are only a short drive away. We would like to thank Jan for the excellent service, and we may come back in the future.

Home from Home
This was the first time we were in the Algarve and didn't know what to expect at the beginning. I have to say that me and my husband fell in love with the area and have booked ourselves to go back now in three weeks. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough, it is spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything you might need. The wifi is fast and reliable and we were able to watch tv on the computer as there was only english channels on tv. We really felt at home and didn't want to leave. Jan the owner is very nice and she will answer any questions you might have regarding the apartment and location. I almost forgot to say that you can even see the sea from the sofa in the living room! Many thanks Jan, we will be back again.

Great pool & location
This is a fantastic apartment in a small complex. It shares the pool with about 10 other apartments so its never too busy. Being on the ground floor the kids could just walk from your patio to the pool across the grass. Waking up every morning to views of the sea from the patio was a real highlight. You can easily walk into Lagos & we managed fine without a car - taxis seem happy to collect you with food from Lidl.

Wonderful Appartment perfectly located in Lagos
We have been traveling to Lagos for over 10 years now and always rented apartments there and I have to say this was the best we ever rented. It is beautifully located and super quiet but close to the city center and the sea (has a great sea view). The apartment is very nice furbished and has everything what you need. The pool is accessible thru the garden door which can be locked which was important for us having a 3 year old. Thanks Jan & Nick for the great time. We will come back. Markus & Claudia

This is our second time at Alba Vilas and as expected it was as lovely as our first time!
The apartment spacious & airy & is in such a peaceful location, yet close enough to walk to the beach, marina or town.
I don't have a negative thing to say on our stay, maybe just that 1 week this time was not enough!

IMMACULATE, PEACEFUL APARTMENT
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this immaculate, spacious and comfortable apartment. Dinis was very helpful. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the morning watching the sun come up and listening to the sound of waves on the beach. Lagos has a great selection of restaurants. Thank you Jan for recommending Don Toro for steaks - so good we returned for more. As it was our first visit to the Algarve, we travelled around a lot and we liked what we saw. We found the cool box and ice packs very useful. The weather was incredibly good, with lots of sunshine and hitting 35oC towards the end of the week. The only downside was coming back to dull grey skies at home.

Great Location in wonderful Lagos
We've stayed for 2 weeks in this wonderfull apartment. Everything is like on the pictures. The rooms where very clean and everything was fine. The kitchen was also very clean and everything was there what we've needed. The TV shows british programs only but with the excellent wifi we've got german tv on our laptop. The garden and pool area are excellent maintained. The beach is in a short distance and the terrace is faced to the sea with a beautifull.view.. The rental process and return of the deposit was very reliable. We will be back next year.

We have just returned from a fabulous two weeks in your apartment in Lagos and just wanted to thank you. It is a beautiful setting and allowed us a timely chill out after a busy year. The setting is wonderful and the children particularly enjoyed the pool area. The apartment has everything
we could have wanted and the addition of a quality wi fi connection is great.
We thought Lagos town was a lovely place with something for everyone. We ate out many times and didn't have a bad meal anywhere.
