About this house rental
Nestled in South Lake Tahoe, this attractive house for R 14,975 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. NOTE: Max occupancy is 16 guests over the age of 5 years. We can have up to 20 guests only if you meet this requirement. Our second home is located in a subdivision of Montgomery Estates. It is located right off Pioneer Trail (we do get street noise on one side of house) so it's easy to head to Heavenly or Sierra-at-Tahoe. The house was remodeled in 2018 and has over 3800 sq ft of living space in 7br and 4.5ba. We are 2 miles from Heavenly, 3 miles from the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. Located nearby are hiking trails and access to Trout Creek. Our home is a spacious 7BR/4.5BA located right off Pioneer Trail. The main living area has 55" HD TV. YouTubeTV is provided. The first floor has been furnished with all bamboo flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a good sized island and stainless steel appliances. We have a 36" professional style cooktop with chimney hood. The small deck has a 8 person hot tub with 88 Jets and a waterfall. There is also a propane grill available on the deck. We have a full size pool table with a ping pong table top. We have lots of books for those that like to read and board games for those that like to play. In the dining room, we have a multi-Arcade system that includes 10+ games including various Street Fighter variants. Six of the bedrooms are located upstairs while the last bedroom is converted from our study room on the main floor. All 4 full baths are upstairs while there is only a half bath downstairs. The sleeping arrangements are as follows: Master Suite 1 - CalKing w/ TV Master Suite 2 - CalKing w/ TV Bedroom 3 - Queen Bedroom 4 - Queen Bedroom 5 - Full Bedroom 6 - T/T T/T bunk beds w/ streaming only TV Bedroom 7/Study - T/T trundle bed (no closet) NOTE: We have 3 exterior cameras located on the property. The cameras have views of the 3 entry points to the home (driveway, front door, back deck). There is one room that guests will not have access to that is used to store our supplies.

Lovely home in nice neighborhood close to shopping, skiing, and Lake. Responsive owners to minor problems. My family of 15 stayed comfortably. Even had a lovely real looking artificial tree that took 5 minutes to set up and take down. We hope to return in future.

This is a big house if you have a large group and will feel spacious but it’s obvious this house is used for partying. It hasn’t been well looked after, nor respected, and requires DEEP DEEP cleans. The host did coordinate an additional cleaning during our stay which helped a little bit. But it was super inconvenient having to send pictures, submit reports, and communicate with the host while trying to enjoy my vacation with friends. The oven was filthy and this was not cleaned when requested. Overall we were disappointed with the quality and cleanliness. But again, it’s a large home and accommodated our group. Just know what you’re getting into.

Overall, the stay was okay. When we arrived the blankets smelt of body odor and had stains, so we had to re-wash every sheet, blanket, and pillowcase. There were pubic hairs on the window sill in one room, stains on sheets and mattresses, the wifi went out the second day we were there, and the bbq grill was not clean. It was not cleaned very well for our arrival so we had to do extra work on our own time after a 12 hour drive. We cleaned it better than we found it so the next guests will be able to enjoy their stay.

We had 16 family members come from all over for our daughters graduation celebration. The house was awesome! Very roomy and the ping pong and pool table were the life of the party each time we were back from our daily activities. The location is great as we were far enough from the lake but close enough to get there fast. We went to emerald bay easily and also went to sand cove beach by incline village and it was super easy. All in all great experience and Luke and sue were highly communicative and made everything so simple. We had a blast!!!!

Stayed here over memorial day weekend with a party of 16. There was plenty of bed space and a set of linens were provided for each bed. The place was clean and provided a grill, hot tub and many kitchen amenities. Plenty of parking space with a 3 car garage and driveway. Place is about a 10 min drive from South Lake Tahoe city area and 20 min drive from the Lake itself, so plenty to do in the area. Honestly no complaints whatsoever! Thanks so much to Luke and Sue for letting us stay at their place.

The house is big and roomy! Communication with Luke and Sue was fast and easy. The only thing I would recommend is more bed pillows! But other then that this house was perfect for my husbands snowboarding weekend with friends and family! Also, keep in mind the drive way is VERY steep and slippery when icy/snowy. One of our AWD vehicles slid down the driveway on its own while in park. So just beware during winter seasons! Also, I love that this house is located near a main road so plowers were always plowing the neighborhood and driveway for us which was very helpful. (Keep in mind we were staying in the middle of a blizzard). Everything worked out perfect and I highly recommend this place!

This property was as advertised. It was clean upon arrival and just what we needed. We had a group of about 15 or 16 people with 4 couples and it slept all of us comfortably. The layout was nice and everyone had plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Tahoe!

We were a party of 16 including Senior citizens, adults and kids. Large spacious property in an excellent location close to all major activities (Skiing, snow tubing, snow mobile) and shopping. Property is well maintained and communication with host was easy too. Will visit again!

The house was everything we needed for our weekend in South Lake Tahoe. 10 minutes to the state line, plenty of room inside the house for everyone that stayed. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. 10/10 would recommend.

We were disappointed the small den/bedroom on the main floor had a foosball table in it and it would have been really nice to have another family or living room to sit and visit with relatives, but overall it is a great space for a large group.

We had party who opted to stay at a hotel rather than sleep in the house for the week because of this.3. Large unsafe ice chunk laden driveway that was not remediated before our arrival . There had been no snow for over a week prior to our arrival or after, and for the maintenance costs tacked on to this property this should have been handled. It made getting bags/groceries etc in and out of cars very unsafe.

Great Stay in Tahoe!
Our experience renting this property was nothing short of terrific! The property itself is great, being situated near town to make getting to and from it easy. The place has a wonderful kitchen, which helps prepare meals for a group. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and comfortable. And the ping pong, pool, and foosball made entertaining ourselves easy. We couldn't have asked for more from the property itself!
The owners are also incredible. They were so responsive to our needs and requests, and sent a message making sure we had everything we needed. We had a few more people than they recommended but Luke an Sue lets us in anyway an we couldn’t have had a better experience!!! The home,property an location were all first class!! We would recommend this to anyone who wants to vacation in beautiful Lake Tahoe

Great place to gather with friends and family
Located very close to town and the Y, it made for a great base camp for a weekend of adventures. The house is spacious with several family rooms that hold many people to allow for great group dialogues. 6 parking spaces is unheard of, but truly allows for all the guests to have parking either in the garage or in the driveway. All the rooms were well fitted with nice furniture and amenities. This place proved perfect for our annual gathering and I highly recommend it.
