Staff were nice but wouldn't go there again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a good choice for breakfast, and it was tasty.

The room was very disappointing. 2 light bulbs didn't work, which made the room dark. There were stains in the toilet, hairs in the bath, dirty teaspoons in the room with the complimentary tea and coffee, the pillows were like breeze blocks, and the mattresses were harder than the floor. The whole hotel could do with an overhaul to take it out of the 1970s.

Adequate but money needed to update the whole hotel and could be really good

Shower poor, room old and tired- but given the cost of room we were accepting the down sides as a one night stay

Ok for a night but not for longer

The reception area, even though it was dark it was amazing. The little balcony in the room overlooked the beautiful lake, but most of all, the lady in reception was lovely and amazing.

When we walked in, there was a guy in the room who didn't even get up. We asked for a wake-up call that never happened. When we got back around 2am, I asked for the room key, and he just gave it to me without even asking for proof that we are staying in the hotel. The bathroom was in desperate need of refurbishment, we were in an interconnecting room, and I could hear everything from next door, housekeeping yelling in the corridor. It was supposed to be non-smoking, but the smell of cigarettes was everywhere.

Find another hotel. This is budget at the most

To be honest the only positive thing that I can say is that the waiter in the restaurant was very good. Parking was good and that's all what I can say good about this place.

The hotel is dated and all the leisure facilities are totally closed, never reopened since covid. Its like a deserted attraction with nothing open. The hotel next door is full closed and houses refuges which you can clearly see with all the site fencing wrapped around the building. The food from the restaurant was terrible, chick legs swimming in oil and still frozen inside. Main meal was also terrible.

Pleasant

The reception was lovely and Christmassy and the receptionist was really kind and accommodating. The bed was lovely a big and comfortable we had a really good sleep. The first room we went in was lovely we had a view of the lake and it was frozen and it was beautiful but we had to move rooms due to the heating not working and the second room was also really nice and we had a balcony that over looked the car park and the room was nice and big very happy with this hotel will definitely be returning

Really comfortable in great surroundings with a lovely breakfast and polite staff.

Although dated very clean and comfortable. breakfast was excellent and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The gym is still closed due to the pandemic even though now the world has transitioned to an endemic! Please re-open the fitness suite.

Would use again for a cheap nights stay.

Convenient location for what we needed. Ample free parking. Lift to all floors. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Controls for heating were easy. Had a room with balcony overlooking the lake.

Not really a complaint but it’s obviously a bit tired and needs modernising. Shame the pool was closed but this was due to staff issues. Apparently the whole hotel is struggling to get staff and keep them!

Basic - don't expect the Ritz!!

Booked 2 rooms - my 91 year old mother with mobility issues given room at end of corridor. Breakfast buffet sparse when we took breakfast - fairly basic spread but included in rate so put up with it. Rooms tired & could have been cleaner, but expected this from previous reviews

Like to try different hotels but will stick to the premier inn when i go to Farnborough.

The Hotel has a lot of potential and staff around the bar area very nice. Lovely outside bar area around the lake.

Hotel very dated. Menu was very limited and staying for a week would have to have same food twice. Had to leave hotel after long working day to get food. No atmosphere, three nights and was and had been the only one in the bar. Never been to any hotel anywhere in the world that will charge you if you don't fit inside the white box when the car park is so big.

Booked and paid for a double room to be told none were available so was given a twin room. After complaining about the room was given the option to swap rooms but at an additional cost

Superb location

1. The receptionist. Although I booked 2 rooms on Booking.com,when we got there, I was told I have 3 rooms. I said, I only booked 2,checked my confirmation email, app, all stated what I said. The receptionist(a blonde young lady) on shift on the 24th of September, around 7pm,said I called them and asked for another room, witch I didn't do. I asked how is this possible, if its an error with their sistem.. She denied that possibility. Initially when I asked, she said the third room is paid for. I panicked, checked my bank, and I was charged only for what I booked(2 rooms) after telling her that, she then said I have to do the payment, witch I didn't agree, she then tried taking the payment without my approval, twice, and she said it was declined. Not sure how she had my card details.... She was keep blaming me, and saying I did something I didn't, she didn't even crossed her mind that maybe it's an error from their part. Not for a second that lady apologiezed. 2. TV didn't work, said "No signal". After all the episode on check in, didn't dare going downstairs and enquire about it. 3. When we got to the restaurant, around 8.50,all of the hot food was finished, had to wait for a few good minutes, till they brought some more.

A very comfortable overnight stay with good food and friendly staff.

Very welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Plenty of free, on-site parking. Very large, comfortable, quiet and warm bedroom. Wi-Fi and breakfast included in the price.

Very disappointing

Breakfast was poor so i just had toast.

The staff were unhelpful, the room was grotty and dingy. I kept my shoes on because the carpet wasnt clean. The bath had black mould around the edges, disgusting. There was nowhere (vending machine 🤷🏻‍♀️) to get a drink for my room. Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable, i got 1 hour sleep plus the air conditioning units ? If thats what they we’re outside my window were humming all night. Nowhere to charge my phone for work, this place is so dated that I definitely would not stay here again even for free.

Excellent hotel with great service and comfort with one of the best breakfasts

Clean comfortable, staff make you feel welcome we picked a deluxe room with balcony and lake view. The included breakfast was the best we have had in a long while mix of cooked and continental. Some areas are looking a little tired but overall it was great, we will definitely use the hotel next time we visit my Daughter.

The restaurant did not have much choice and the menu is not on the website, my daughter is vegetarian and there was only one option, so we went to the havester just up the road.
