My sister and (2) daughters stayed here for a wedding we had with family in Napa Valley. This was 20 minutes away from all the weekend events.
The layout was perfect especially with having 2nd bedroom with full bathroom away from main dining area. It also had its own kitchen.
The VRBO was stocked with all the amenities of home. We had washer/dryer inside home, which was a huge PLUS!!
Patrick was reassuring throughout our entire (5) night stay, and met us upon arrival, reviewed everything and left a wonderfully helpful handbook guide.
Downtown Sonoma was close to restaurants, wineries and shops. Patrick even left a bottle of wine for us, which was very kind.
We were able to cook as well, since all kitchen equipment and utensils were provided. That was really great!
It was really great to have such a huge outdoor area and we sat outside as often as possible!
Patrick checked in on us as well, which was extremely nice and made all (4) of us gals feel even more secure. The VRBO was well lit at night and doors very secure which was important for us.
This was the best VRBO experience and we highly recommend this comfortable home away from home vacation spot!
Thank you Patrick for providing all of us a positive experience and good vibes throughout our stay!!

Our stay at Jim and Linda's Dojo was a memorable one! The place was immaculate, Jim was quick to meet us upon our arrival to show us everything we needed to know about the place and provided some helpful suggestions about places to visit and eat during our stay. They even provided us with a bottle of wine from their favorite vineyard! The house is just a short walk from Sonoma Square and about a half hour drive from downtown Napa, very convenient location for anything you may have planned in the area. We are looking forward to returning soon - thank you again Jim and Linda! PS - We love Oliver!!

This is our second time staying at the dojo. Jim and Linda are perfect hosts. The wine, coffee, snacks were much appreciated. We love that the property has a walking path behind it and we walked to the square for brunch. The dojo has two separate living quarters which made it perfect for my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson to stay with us. We have close relatives in Sonoma so I am sure we will stay here again.

I love this property and it's my second time staying at the Dojo. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Has everything you need. Jim the owner could not be nicer or more helpful. He went above and beyond making our stay perfect. I'll be back nect year. Thanks!!

Jim is an excellent host! Thank you for the wine:) and snacks. Peaceful place with nice appliances. Good location to downtown and wineries. We did use the screens provided for privacy in open space. King bed in bedroom 2 would have worked better for our party.
Oliver is very friendly:)

Jim was an amazing host. Checked in with us even when we arrived fairly late from our flight. Had a great little welcome basket with food and drinks. He checked in with us a few times and made sure we were always great. Would highly recommend it. The king bed is VERY comfortable as well!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Patrick's dojo - quiet, peaceful, conveniently located, good amenities, parking/plug to charge our EV, and a very friendly dog too (Oliver) :-) - the kids enjoyed cycling up to Whole Foods and back, walking by the stream behind the house and exploring the yard!

Had a wonderful time. Beds super comfy, place is clean and very nice, conveniently located, with a super host. It has a nice outdoor covered picnic/grill area, but we didn’t use it as we were too busy doing everything else in the area. The bikes were a nice convenience, too. I highly recommend!!!

Close to everything yet still has a quiet secluded feel. The place has a relaxed feel in a quiet location. The proximity to the walking/bike path and to the town square is great. Very nice and helpful owners! All the amenities of home.

Great location. We all enjoyed walking trail nearby. Whole Foods and Safeway within walking distance.
Accommodations were clean. Bathrooms had been updated with walk-in showers. Beds were comfortable. We were there during a week of 100 degree plus temps. AC units worked well to cool down Dojo.
Quiet area. The owner was very responsive to our questions and needs.

We had an awesome experience at Patrick’s dojo! One of the best stocked houses I’ve ever stayed at. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and the location on the path was awesome! Just a short walk into town!

Though we didn’t get to spend a lot of time at Patrick’s Doho, while we were very busy with wedding activities we really enjoyed the time we did. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Jim was very easy to communicate with.

We were in town for daughter's wedding. Jim's and Linda's place was a nice get away for my husband and me. The seperate room allowed for privacy with adult family. We used the washer and dryer. All appliances are new and in working order. The wine and cheese/snack basket was a nice touch. This property is centrally located in a very nice neighborhood.

Excellent Place in Sonoma
This is a beautiful property. Loved the set up with the two beds and living areas. Each of us felt like we had our separate space but a nice common space. The hosts are excellent and responded to all of our questions and provided a lot of information on how to explore Sonoma. It is an ideal location, plus the owners provide bikes if you are not into walking. I think this is one of the best VRBOs I have ever experienced and will go back again

Love the Zen Feel
The Dojo was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to all the places we were going to it was perfect! Jim was a great host along with his sidekick Oliver. They made the trip extra special with the nice food basket and a chilled bottle of wine. I would definitley go back. Thank you so much Jim for making us feel so welcome and all the tips. I'm sad to say, I didn't make it to the Strawberry Patch, but we did pass right by it! Thank you again.

Place is great, feels even bigger in person than looked in the pictures. Location is solid, right on the Sonoma bike path and only about 15-20 min walk to square. Jim was a great host, easy to communicate with via text/phone/email and provided great hospitality. Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

This space was perfect for our multi-generational family trip, as our teen son slept on the foldout sofa in the larger space with my husband and I, while my step-mother had her own space in the second bedroom. The location was a wonderful base from which to explore the area! We would definitely stay here again.

One of Our Favorites
This place is such a gem! We have visited Sonoma six times and Patricks' Dojo ranks at the top of our list of places stayed. We spent a week there with another couple, celebrating my 70th birthday. The open concept made it roomy and fun. Each couple had individual space and we all hung out in the main living room/kitchen area. It looks very new with upscale appliances, countertops, bathrooms, etc. There was plenty of dinnerware so we cooked and grilled several times. The beds were wonderfully comfy, and parking was easy. It was a nice quiet distance from the action on the square, yet and easy walk there, with a walking path just off our backyard. Jim was the perfect host, meeting us upon arrival and again to see us off at the end of our stay. He replied immediately to all of our questions and requests, but was not at all intrusive. I feel like he's a new friend now. :) I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Stay here!!!

Comfortable, well stocked, well kept
This property was one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. It had everything we needed and then some! We had extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, spices, cooking utensils, coffee, and a bottle of wine! My husband and I and my son and his fiancée enjoyed ourselves and also made good use of all that Sonoma had to offer. We went to several wine tastings and quite a few restaurants and had a wonderful time. We also used the walking path behind the house which allowed us to get our steps in. I would definitely stay here again.

HIGHLY recommended
The property was wonderful and the Host Jim was always available, as needed, and friendly. The property was immaculately cleaned and appears exactly as shown, if not better. The proximity to Sonoma Plaza was wonderful as well as access to Napa. While not highlighted in the listing, we also really enjoyed the outdoor spaces of the property. We had an extended stay, we felt very comfortable and it felt like home to us. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.
