We prepared our own breakfast. The location of the place was perfect. The tranquility, the view is breathtaking. The venue is spacious and clean.
Everything was exactly what I expected and beyond. There is nothing I can point out that I didn't like, I loved everything about the place.

Loved the hippo hide!

It was clean.
There was only one proper shower in the unit. For older kids having two baths didn’t work. The owners need to convert the bathrooms to showers.

Location
Would prefer:
1. firmer cushions.
2. Backup camping gasstove for during loadshedding.
3. Coffee plunger.
4. Plastic containers for odd left-overs.

Love the location and the resort, staff at the resort was very friendly. Everything in the resort is very well maintained.
The description and photos of the unit was misleading. It did not say that it is one house split into two. The couches are old and wobbly, microwave makes strange noises, broom was broken, no mop available (even though there is a cleaning service, especially if you go on holiday with kids they do mess and it would be nice to have more or better cleaning equipment), bath towels were old and some had little holes in. Trash was not taken away daily so monkeys and stray cats ripped open some of the bags that were too much to fit into the one bin supplied.

The location and the facilities at Kruger Park Lodge was excellent.
The maintenance and upkeep of the unit needs to improve. A number of items were not working or broken e.g., iron, 2x ironing board, downstairs bathroom shower significant leak on the hose, exposed electrical sockets. Outside bin not taken out for 2 days. Blinds broken and swapped between neighboring unit by maintenance staff.

The lodge facilities are amazing. We had beautiful walks. Food was very reasonably priced and very good. Saw a nocturnal animal that I was told is a white bushy tail mongoose.Love seeing the antelope and hippos.Love the tranquility of the surroundings. Will definitely be back again.
The unit is one of the further ones from the restaurant which makes it difficult to find your way back from at night especially during loadshedding in the dark. The estate need some street lights.

It was nice and clean.
It felt outdated and in one room the blinds dis not work. Pitch black the whole weekend in that room.

The resort is a wonderful location set in a spacious golf course that hosts an abundance of wildlife including a herd of impala, monkeys, birds and a hippo lake with a lot of other animals in residence.
The main restaurant and swimming pool complex are lovely to relax in. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced and the service is excellent.
There is also a small outdoor pool with a picnic area close to 257b where you can relax and bring your own food and drinks.
Housekeeping attends every day except Sunday.
Great security with main gate checks and a manned inner gate for added safety. Having said this, moving around the local area and shopping malls we felt at home and completely safe and saw no examples of threat or intimidation.
The lodge at 257B is beginning to suffer a bit from wear and tear.
On arrival, we discovered some evidence of neglect and inattention by the maintenance staff. Most notable was the number of sticky and squeaky doors.
The cooker controls were also faulty and tripped the power out. A blind in one of the bedrooms was hanging off. The kitchen clock needed a new battery as did one of the TV remote controls.
There were also many cigarette burns to the sofa and cushions in the lounge and an iron burn on one of the carpets.
After using the dishwasher the power also tripped overnight. The next day one of the staff showed me there was a faulty earth trip fuse that needed to be firmly pushed to reset it.
To be fair to the agent who was always available via WhatsApp the problems were all sorted out very quickly with repair to the cooker and blinds being done the same day.
We slept in the upstairs mezzanine room. The bed was too hard for us but an abundance of extra pillows made a great extra mattress.
The small security safe in the lodge was left locked and the manager had to come with the key to open it. Luckily I knew how to reset the code as he had no clue.
My feeling was that numerous people before us had just left a lot of these faults unreported and that there were obviously no checks done by the resort to make sure everything was working.

The location is stunning with great scenery and wildlife - The lodge is very close to two massive shopping centres which makes it easier to quickly grab some delicious emergency pizza. It is also quite close to Kruger Park Skukuza gate and many adventure parks if you feel like quadbiking - However the lodge is also great if you just want to kick back and spend some quality time with family. The Swimming pools were delightful and there were many activities to do at a very reasonable prices - Deposits are dependent on the activity and refundable; For example the Tennis racket deposit was R150 each but to book the court was only R20 for the whole family! And this was the most expensive thing to do.
This is a well hidden Gen in Hazyview and it is only a matter of time until many discover it; although this will lead to prices skyrocketing - it will still be worth the value!
Loved everything!

The place was spacious and enough for all 6 of us, It was indeed a home away from home.
The cleanliness and the beauty of the outside view was out of this world.
I wouldn't think twice about going back again
The only turnoff was loadshading, but we were given the schedule on hand when we got there and were able to prepare for it on hand.

The environment was clean, free wifi great hospitality from the cleaners and receptionist. We never met the cleaners but excellent work.
The furniture especially coaches are too old the big nd small one next to the table looked like it will fall. Unfortunate part is that the braai fork and wine glass were nicely displayed only to find out the fork is damaged on the handle is damaged and wine glass also it's like it was glued the stem just set on table left with the upper glass on top. The smell when we walked in is terrible I don't know if it's the carpet or what.

The location and the lodge was amazing. I loved seeing the animals in the morning and evening grazing
We wanted to extend our stay for another night but when we asked at the reception they told us to get in touch with the owner, and we didn't know who it was and they didn't even give us the contact information, we would have to stay longer

The property is really cozy and and comfortable. The fact that it’s in a great location and close to key amenities was appreciated.
The furniture is a bit outdated but I really appreciated the fact that the beds were comfortable.

Location is excellent.
2 malls very near to the lodge.
Kruger Park's Phambeni Gate 12km away
The Lodge is beautiful.
Enjoyed watching the impalas & nyalas walking past our chalet.
We couldn't explore the lodge due to the rain.
We would have loved to go on the lodge's walking trail around the perimeter of the lodge, maybe next time.
