Even better, this home is pet friendly, so your pets can join you on vacation. Please note that there is a $50 pet fee. Upstairs - 3rd Floor Star deck with telescopes, where you can view the incredible night skies from inside or out. Upstairs - 2nd Floor Living Area - Open floor plan, comfy sectional couch, flat screen TV, board games. Kitchen - Full-size, modern appliances, equipped with a toaster, baking dish, pots, pans, and a toaster oven, dining area, counter bar. Master Bedroom - Plush king bed, flat screen TV, amazing views. Bathroom - Vanity, tiled walk-in shower, luxurious spa tub. Washer & dryer. Deck with outdoor seating. Downstairs - 1st Floor Open floor plan. Kitchenette with microwave, two-burner stovetop, small refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, utensils, sink. Seating. Cozy queen bed. Flat screen TV. Front load washer & dryer. Bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combo. High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home. Backyard Covered patio with seating. Picnic table with umbrella. Bocce ball court. Propane grill. Firepit. Guest Access: You'll have access to the main home with studio apartment, upper deck, Star Deck, and one covered parking space. You're also welcome to enjoy the bocce ball court. The Neighborhood: The Kasbah Home is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family-friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones and pets! There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. Getting Around: This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Again, this property is a pet-friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. The entire home and property are smoke and vape free. We had a wonderful time visiting the nearby National Parks and this house was a great home base. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Plenty of space and fabulous views. After a days of hiking it was very helpful to have laundry at the house. We would definitely come back

The inside of the house was clean and comfortable. The yard was not quite as neat. The neighborhood is a mixture of all styles and ages of homes. Maybe typical for the region? Caught us somewhat off guard.

Yes, the pictures do not lie! The house is new build and the balcony and fire pit are great! Our stay in Kanab was extremely comfortable and convenient because of this wonderful lodging! Micah was a great host and readily available! We had both the studio on the ground floor and the main living area, which was plenty of space for 3 adults and a dog! There is also a huge driveway and two additional parking spots! You're only a 5 minute drive from the main Kanab strip (and the wonderful Taro Coffee Bar). The times stated to the national parks are also accurate. Be sure to check out the Pink Sand Dunes and also rent an OTV to explore all the BLM and Utah State Park lands!

We were thoroughly impressed with this property. It was very clean and modern. The views were stunning in every direction. It was well-appointed and we had everything we needed. The location was great and we were close to everything. The property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful. Even our pup was welcome. The only suggestion I have is that a dresser or place to put clothes be added to the master bedroom. We’ve found our new go-to when we travel to that part of Utah!

This was a great place to land each night after Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, and East Zion Experience rappelling tour. Tub was a great way to soothe sore muscles. We enjoyed Rocking V Cafe as well!

This home is exactly as pictured - beautiful, clean, modern. I loved the view out the large windows and the breeze on the back balcony overlooking the red cliffs. We went up on the roof to see the starry sky. The location is close to downtown's restaurants and a 30 minute drive to Zion, an hour or so drive to Antelope Canyon.
The bathroom is spacious with both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. The beds comfortable, the linens soft. The kitchen was well equipped except for a few small things I have discussed with Zion Stays - the management company. Easily remedied.
We loved our stay here.

Overall great experience staying here. No problems. Very clean. Fast response from owner. Nice neighborhood. Has a telescope and upper deck for star gazing.

The property towers over nearby properties, but has a nice star deck. You need to be comfortable with stairs, they are steep. There is a studio apartment that may be occupied downstairs to inquire about if you want more privacy.

Beautiful, clean, and Romantic
Overall stay was amazing!!! We started the day sitting on the patio looking at the beautiful view of the mountains. Made our way to the bedroom with the soft and comfy mattress and flatscreen smart tv. Ended the night on the star deck looking through the telescope!!!

We really enjoyed our get away to cooler weather. The home has nice touches and is clean and modern. The community and people we met were pleasant and welcoming. The outdoor activities are immense and refreshing to the soul. Time well spent.

Beautiful, comfortable Kanab home
The Kasbah home is lovely! We found it extremely clean and comfortable. It's the perfect amount of space for 2 people. The kitchen works well (we cooked a lot because of Covid concerns) and the entire kitchen and living area has the best view of the red rock mountains. The bed is very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Kanab Property
Great apartment with generous amount of space to relax in. Full kitchen, really nice for breakfast in and to enjoy a glass of wine after our hikes. Beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. Nice to be able to do laundry too. Best part is the views of the red rocks all as round the big windows. We even went up to the sky deck for star viewing one night. Really great stay!

The home was modern and comfortable. The library of guidebooks and the instruction manual was comprehensive. Unfortunately, a major snow storm was predicted to arrive during our stay and the whole town lost power overnight. We would have loved to stay longer but the weather was anticipated to worsen and we decided to drive the safest route westward toward home. Despite the inclement weather, it was clear this was a great vacation rental and the host were very considerate of our safety. We look forward to coming back to this home in Kanab and finally take advantage of the proximity to the various natural monuments.

Snow Storm Sanctuary
The home was modern and comfortable. The library of guidebooks and the instruction manual was comprehensive. Unfortunately, a major snow storm was predicted to arrive during our stay and the whole town lost power overnight. We would have loved to stay longer but the weather was anticipated to worsen and we decided to drive the safest route westward toward home. Despite the inclement weather, it was clear this was a great vacation rental and the host were very considerate of our safety. We look forward to coming back to this home in Kanab and finally take advantage of the proximity to the various natural monuments.

Excellent spacious apartment with full kitchen, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom. Easy keyless entry system. Beautiful deck with red rock views. Just a wonderful place to come home to after long hiking days!

Short stay in Kanab
We stayed for two nights only but would have liked to have stayed longer. The property was very spacious and open with two decks - one for sitting out with morning coffee and the sky deck for viewing the stars. The property is very new with lots of room and modern appliances. While there we made a trip to Zion which is about an hour away but there are a lot of different hikes and drives we could have done if we had more time. I would definitely recommend the property.

We loved staying at this property. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Great modern style. The open layout and sleek modern finishes made it really enjoyable to spend time in as did the gorgeous views of the surrounding desert and mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We will be staying here again.

Great, bright private space with a few quirks
This place is brand new and the finishes are high-end and modern. It's bright, with large windows everywhere and an incredible rooftop star deck. Loved the comfortable bed, large smart TV in the bedroom, compact but efficient kitchen and a great bathroom. There were a few quirks that I'd love to see remedied, but certainly nothing that ruined my experience.
- The laundry room/closet had a good size rail with hangers, but there was no dresser, drawer space or shelving to store folded items anywhere in the unit.
- No window coverings outside the bedroom. I did appreciate having blinds in there for privacy, and the roll-down shades on the porch were handy, but a sheer on the sliding glass doors would be helpful.
- I would love to see a few baby gates to block off stairs inside and from the deck to the yard for renters with kids or dogs. There was a decent gap along the stairs leading up to the roof that a small child or dog could easily fall through.
- Tiny TV in the living room (understood most will enjoy the view or outdoor space, but in January the opportunities are limited and the sun goes down early). Also, no basic antenna or cable service for news/weather in the morning.
- No furniture allowed on the star deck. (It was cold, but I'm thinking of future trips!) I understand it's a sensitive surface, and there were a few old metal folding chairs with tipped legs, but it would be nice to have a few more permanent, comfortable pieces to sit on up there. I've seen roof decks done with partial floating floors that don't damage the surface but allow for some furnishings... might be something to consider. I did love the telescopes at the top of the stairs!
- The downstairs studio was empty while I was there, but think it could be awkward (or even a safety issue) if it were occupied by someone you don't know. As a female who sometimes travels alone, unfortunately these are things I have to consider.
All that said, this place was GREAT and I will definitely stay here again! The owners were easy to work with and the electronic door lock made it easy to come and go. Check-out requirements (start towels in laundry, start dishwasher, take out trash) were not unusual or difficult. The neighborhood is a bit of a distance from the main part of town, which I actually liked. The streets were quiet and the neighbors kept to themselves.

Awesome stay!
The stay was perfect. The scenery through the windows and balcony is amazing. The accommodations were perfect and the building was unique. The only bad thing about the stay was the curtain situation. No curtains in the entire building was a little weird, more different i guess. I would at least put curtains in the master bedroom for privacy. Also, this building has 2 units to it, an upstairs (which we had) and a downstairs. If you are looking for privacy, ensure that the bottom, or top, is vacant throughout your stay. Besides that, everything was awesome! Would come here again!
