We really enjoyed staying at the loft. It was comfortable and wonderfully designed with a beautiful outdoor area. It was convenient for us to walk to Union Square, Fisherman's Warf, and North Beach. It was great to have a garage to park our car in and we felt safe walking. Steve and Mike responded very quickly to our questions. We would stay here again and could not expect anything more.

We selected this loft not only for the amount of space but for the walkability to a few activities we wanted to do. The space is exactly as represented in the VRBO listing and the hosts were agreeable and easy to work with. However, the loft is located in an area known as Lower Nob Hill/Tenderloin which had a lot of homeless people in the area at all hours of the day and night. We understand that homeless people are a social issue for most cities, unfortunately this area however had more than it's share as compared to the other areas we walked through. Luckily it is on the border of Japantown and Pacific Heights which we felt much more comfortable walking in. We just had to be mindful of the routes we would take as we traveled around town. Having the garage was invaluable since we wanted to up to Napa and Muir Woods.

This condo is so special and truly unique! We loved it! It felt like we were staying in an art gallery. Steve was wonderful and met us there for check-in. It was spotless and very comfortable. The outdoor space is a dream and so very relaxing! And it is close or a quick cab/Uber ride to everything. We live in quiet, rural western Kentucky, so it took a minute to get used to the bustling sounds of the city at night. But we loved it and would definitely stay again.

The property was excellent all amenities easy to use. The loft itself was unique. Easily excess-able both by the front and using the garage. We loved staying here. Unspoken some chicken wings as well yeah not chicken tenders yeah and chicken wings chicken tenders Mac should’ve been around

This apartment is beautiful and absolutely one of a kind. There is tons of space. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped, and the outdoor space is an oasis in the middle of the city.
The immediate neighborhood doesn’t have much going on, though you will find the necessities. It is quite centrally located though, making it a great homebase.

Can’t say enough about this property and the hosts. Communication was excellent and a personal tour upon arrival. Clean, comfortable and above all funky! Such a cool place and the roof garden to hang out in is not to be missed. Location great and a good base for anything in the city. Will definitely come back next time in town!

Absolutely stunning !! This property is outstanding in terms of layout, design, decor, space, amenities and surroundings. We absolutely loved it. Steve made us very welcome upon arrival and showed us round the loft and talked through how everything worked. There are lots of ideas for places to eat and see, and Steve went as far as to answer messages throughout our stay and gave us great recommendations for restaurants etc. The loft itself feels like a rather large and spacious bit of paradise in the heart of this amazing city !! We did not want to leave !!!

We spent two weeks in this beautiful loft. We chose it for its proximity to downtown, but soon found that it is a great starting point for any number of long walks to Chinatown, Japantown, Pacific Heights, Presidio—even Golden Gate Patk if you are feeling ambitious. The property owners always responded quickly to our questions. The photos cannot do this space justice—the artwork and interior design are really fantastic. Also we cooked all our own meals here and found the kitchen fully equipped—actually more than fully. It is a gourmet kitchen.

The loft was in easy walking or transit to so many neighborhoods! We got around just fine without a car. It is right near Polk, with lots of places to for eating outside or takeaway and was an easy jaunt for us to get to Japantown and Russian Hill. The loft has lots of different seating and table options and felt like staying in a beautiful work of art! The private patio through the Master suite was a real plus for hanging out, eating brunch, and watching the hummingbirds feast on the colorful flowers. You can tell that this is a home that is lived in, so we had everything we needed to cook for ourselves when we wanted to.

Great outdoor space. Excellent hosts. The only VRBO we have ever stayed in that was featured in Architectural Digest. As comfortable as beautiful. Thank you so much.

Very comfortable living space ambience. Well furnished, easy space to relax and enjoy our stay when at property. Appreciated the use of private, secure, inside parking garage for our rental vehicle. We enjoy and are in condition for substantial urban hiking, and the central city location of the property allowed us to walk the distances to most city sites we set out to including Fisherman's Wharf, Coit Tower, Union Square, Chinatown, Oracle Park. The immediate surrounding neighborhood is a little gritty (ex. sidewalks not clean, some homeless street people), but similar to a number of other city neighborhoods. We felt very secure inside the property.

Really funky, nice place. The location was great, we were able to put the rental car in the garage. Overall, a really great place to stay.

We loved our stay at this great house! Robert and Steve were so nice to deal with and the place was great. We loved the character of the house, its history, and the rooftop deck was lovely. We had everything we needed and were able to walk or take short Lyft ride to all the SF sights.

Robert and Steven's rental is fantastic. It was clean and everything was just as shown/described in the listing. One of my sons slept on the couch and was very comfortable there with the bedding Robert and Steven gave us. The living room area almost felt like a third bedroom because it was sort of separate from the gorgeous dining table. We loved relaxing on the rooftop patio after our days exploring the city. We could walk to many of the things we did, including Union Square, Japantown, Fillmore shopping, Cow Hollow. The rental needed a repair that couldn't be done while we were there, so Steven and Robert adjusted our rental fee to compensate for the inconvenience it caused us, which was very generous and above and beyond the usual. All in all a great place to stay.

What a fabulous home. So well appointed and artistically designed. And so comfortable. Dad/grandpa was in town for his 80th birthday and I wanted to find the perfect place for my folks to spend a few enjoyable days receiving visits from various family members. Mission accomplished! Dad was surprised and showered with love. They'll never stay anywhere else again.

big apartment but layout is not normal (to reach backyard and car garage, you have to go through the master bedroom). it does not have many windows.backyard is big and very nice with lots of plant.living room is also very big but only has one window.the garage is very convenient for our car to get in and out. Some homeless people with tents on Fern street that made me feel uncomfortable walking in the neighborhood at night timecloset of master bedroom is full with owner's clothesrefrigerator freezer is full with owner's food as well.owners said they live there majority of the time year round and rent this out occasionally. Not sure they hired professional clean people to clean this place before we move in.It did not give me a crispy clean feeling especially we were very careful during pandemic season. No one was sick during and after. We had a good time and enjoyed the stay.
