Central location to Galata tower, istiklaal street and sishane metro. The best part was the hosts. Always friendly always helpful. It feels like staying with family. Don't hesitate book here!

La struttura è eccezionale e tutto il personale veramente gentile. Colazione ottima e posizione strategica per vedere le migliori attrazioni di Istanbul. Da menzionare anche la vista sul panorama, indimenticabile!

Very nice accommodation! The price is good! Food is traditional turkish breakfast! The coffee bar has a lot of types of coffees! The room is small but You have all you need! The hosts are really friendly and ready to help you with anything you ask! Also, really good location.

الموظفين كانوا في قمة اللطافة استقبالهم رائع قدمولنا قهوة اول ماوصلنا للفندق وكانوا خدومين جدا خلال فترة الاقامة كلها وحجزنا كان مايشمله الفطور ولكن قالولنا هدية مننا الفطور ووقت الخروج كمان قدمولنا قهوة 🩷🩷🩷🩷 وعندهم موظف يتكلم العربي (احمد المصري ) يعني ماتشيلوا هم التواصل ابدا والمكان هادي ومريح والغرف نظيفة ودافئة ومطله على البسفور موقع المكان حلو قريب من شارع الاستقلال وتقسيم

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Istanbul, the staff were amazing from the beginning and throughout and made my stay as comfortable as possible, I cannot thank them enough. I would most definitely recommend and revisit when I return to Istanbul. The room itself was very comfortable and the views were amazing. Hospitality and service was 10/10, Mr Osman even escorted us to our room! The hotel is also perfectly located, just a stones throw away from Galata, which was my favourite place in Istanbul.

Η διαμονή μας στο Doruk Palas hotel ήταν πέραν των προσδοκιών μας. Η επιχείρηση είναι οικογενειακή και το κλίμα ήταν πολύ φιλικό και ζεστό. Η περιοχή φανταστική, κάτω από τον Πύργο του Γαλατά και πολύ κοντά σε πλατεία Ταξίμ, παζάρι, Αγιά Σοφιά κλπ. Το ξενοδοχείο πεντακάθαρο! Το πρωινό εκπληκτικό και πλούσιο. Σίγουρα θα το πρότεινα σε όποιον θέλει να επισκεφτεί την Κωνσταντινούπολη να μείνει εκεί. Συγχαρητήρια στα αδέρφια (ιδιοκτήτες) είναι φοβεροί και φυσικά στον Αλί που ήταν τόσο εξυπηρετικός!

The owner and staff at DORUK PALAS are wonderful people focused on ensuring their clients needs are met 100%of the time. They are so helpful and congenial. The full Turkish breakfast was very good. The beds comfortable and the shower water pressure was excellent. From the hotel it is a short walk up to Galata Tower pedestrian area with good restaurants and coffee shops. From there the walk to Taksim Square is direct and enjoyable. The M2 metro is just a 10 minute walk downhill. The T-1 tram into the old city is about 10 minutes further which is also near a convenient ferry boat dock. The area felt very safe as you’re among local people going about their daily work The T-1 line will take you to all the popular tourist sites in the old city. We felt the location and value of the hotel were excellent but it’s really the owner Ahmet and his brothers who made our stay so pleasant. Photos are views from our room

Everything was perfect during our stay in Doruk Palas Hotel, and the staff were amazing starting from Mr. Osman (boss-man), Mr. Ahmet, Mohamet, Amir, and Ali. Thank you very much and we will come back again for sure.

De 2 eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en helpen je met alles wat je wilt. De locatie van het hotel is vlakbij de Galatatoren en is gelegen in een hippe wijk. De kamers waren schoon en we hebben goed geslapen. We zijn ook naar een wedstrijd van Galatasary geweest, de beste club van Turkije!

We are a family and we stayed five nights in two rooms. We had fantastic trip to Istanbul and this hotel is definitely one reason for that. This is a small family-owned hotel at the heart centre of Istanbul near Galata tower and in close distance to most of the attractions; central location, but yet at very quiet road . The hotel has a really good thermal insulation as we travelled at winter time, January, and this is important feature we were looking for; Imagine that we needed to switch on cold AC at this time🤓. The shower is very powerful like massage. The service is really what special about this hotel and I did not see like this in any hotel allover the world. Everybody is smiling 🤗all the time and happy to help and support. In all occasions, they will keep asking you if you need a help. The owner, Mr Ahmed, who comes at morning duty is very nice gentle man who is ready to help you for what you need to do in Istanbul and he made our trip fantastic by following his tips in moving around Istanbul. The Egyptian guy, Ahmed, is humble man and exactly behaves like your brother; he speaks spontaneously and helps whatever you need.The guys at this hotel might speak with you hours and hours unless you stop them😁. Lastly, I and my family like this hotel very much and definitely would come back again.Istanbul means to us, Doruk palas and Mr. Osman, the top security of the hotel😊.

We actually knew what this hotel could offer to you and we like it and happy with it, but keep in mind these things so that you will not be surprised; small hotel, in small road, no swimming pool, no big reception and hall, the rooms are somewhat small, there is metro bridge near the hotel and you might sometimes hear some low noise for sensitive people which are not ourselves. We like this hotel and would definitely cone back.

Το ξενοδοχειο ηταν υπεροχο..Το δωματιο ειχε πολυ ομορφη θεα..Ηταν πεντακαθαρο..Το προσωπικο ηταν ευγενεστατο...Η συμπεριφορα τους αψογη..Ηταν προθυμοι παντα να βοηθησουν..Ζητησα να κανω check in πιο νωρις και να αφησω τα πραγματα μου στο ξενοδοχειο κατα το check out διοτι η πτηση μας ηταν πολυ αργοτερα και με εξυπηρετησαν και για τα δυο..Το πρωινο τους ηταν πολυ καλο..Στο τελος μου εδωσαν και ενα μπρελοκ ως δωρο ..Επισης η τοποθεσια του ηταν πολυ καλη.Ηταν κοντα στον πυργο του Γαλατα και στην Γεφυρα του Γαλατα...Σε μικρη αποσταση απο την istiklal..Αν μπορουσα να βαλω πανω απο 10 θα το εκανα...Σιγουρα θα ξανα επιστρεψω στην Κωνσταντινουπολη και αυτη την φορα δεν θα ψαξω για ξενοδοχειο...Σας ευχαριστουμε πολυ για ολα ..Για την φιλοξενια σας και την υπεροχη συμπεριφορα σας...

I've had the pleasure of visiting Istanbul twice before, staying in different hotels each time. However, my recent stay at Doruk Hotel surpassed all my previous experiences, making it the best stay I've ever had in the city. If I could rate it more than 10/10, I would do so without hesitation. What made it exceptional was the unparalleled service provided by the hotel, making me feel genuinely at home. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a larger room, a gesture of kindness from the owners that truly enhanced my overall experience. The room was not only spacious but also remarkably quiet and incredibly comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend Doruk to anyone planning to visit Istanbul. The owners go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction, not just with the hotel service but also with your entire visit to this beautiful city. PS : For any SOLO TRAVELER, Mr. Osman will be your best companion, ensuring you never feel alone during your stay.

Erg goed ontvangen de kamer was vrij kon meteen intrekken. Prachtige locatie dichtbij de Galata toren en istiklal Caddesi. Vriendelijk personeel en de kamer was erg hygiënisch. Uitgebreid ontbijt. En de kat Osman is zo schattig.

Excellent breakfast. Very helpful employee wheeled our suitcases and found us a taxi at the end of the street.

Unrequested 5 AM wake up call from reception. We arrived late but hotel does not have a bar.

The hotel is near many tourist places and shops. Staff are amazing and super helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Ahmed is a good host and even went beyond with his help on booking rides and guidance to find specific places I was looking for. Will return on my next trip.

This part of the city has tiny streets, which produce traffic jams during the day. Bed could be more comfy, but overall, it was ok.

We had a wonderful stay. All of the staff were attentive and took time to ask us our plans each day, suggest additional activities/sites to see, and help make reservations. Breakfast was wonderful and they went out of their way to provide space for some work-related on-line meetings. Could not have asked for more without paying a hefty price.
