Clean, modern, friendly. Nice breakfast and spa. Spacious room. 5 mins from resorts world and NEC
Tight parking at £15 extra cost but very close to hotel
5.0
It was ideal for a visit to the Resort World Arena for a gig, just a ten minute walk. Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice and seemed good quality.
Every message since booking opened with the phrase newly refurbished hotel, it isn’t. The restaurant looked like it had been refreshed but everywhere was tired looking, old and scruffy. Carpets are worn and stained, the lifts at C section struggled to open, doors and corridors were grubby, damaged or very old feeling. The room and bathroom felt they were due an overhaul.

The food at the bar was good.
My room wasn’t clean, it was full of dust and moths were flying around and on the bed and the curtains!! The room itself was very dates especially for a Hilton. My safe in my room wouldn’t work so I couldnt put any of my valuables in there. The mattress was hard like a rock and was incredibly uncomfortable. I had the worst night sleep, I think I woke up about 8 times as I was so uncomfortable. I used the pool during my stay and the changing rooms were disgusting there was hair all over the floor! I wish I had spent less money and stayed at a premier inn. Very disappointing.
7.0
The room was respective of its high price, in both sizing and amenities available.
The executive lounge and staff within were well untruly worth the price alone. They were very welcoming and accommodating within the lounge and would stop for a general chat with us to make us feel more at home.
The bar staff were severely lacking in customer service skills and need to learn appropriate in front of customers. I was getting some diet cokes for my children and I when I walked by a few staff members of that area loudly speaking and swearing during a general chat.
This was not acceptable in front of young children, when the issue was raised there was no apology given. As the weekend wore on; the bar staff then started refusing service to those attending a convention in the hotel using grounds of undesirability. It was as if they were trying to lose custom that weekend.

Very easy to get too, relaxing setting.
The shower room could of done with being a little bigger for wheelchair users

Well I didn’t enjoy my stay as the room was next to a lift that was in use all night and was in dire need of maintenance I could hear the shaft of the lift squealing and scraping, I had a terrible night sleep and I the fact I refused to stay the second night I woke up feeling exhausted and not good mood, I didn’t pay for a experience like that in a HILTON, on top the Asian/filipino receptionist didn’t handle the customer complaint very well I didnt feel like a guest more like a enemy he didn’t want to serve. His position shouldn’t be in the face of customer service. Shocking for HILTON

The bed was what was expected and high quality. The bathroom is acceptable. I only stayed here as I had a foot injury requiring corrective surgery.
The food was extortionately priced, and very poor. I requested a medium rare steak and most of it was rare and stringy. the brandy I had with my meal tasted watered down. The staff were too busy to listen, I asked what draught lagers were and was told you do Perronnii, I said ok and got a tiny bottle. My wife's meal was worse apart from the mac & cheese, tiny roasted vegetables for £7.50 Breakfast, mushrooms inedible, eggs cold, sausages good, bacon fair, and cheap baked beans. I left a tip only to find a service charge was applied. No site of bill. One of the questions is paid for wi-fi, it's like this with everything.

nice room and foyer. Food in bar was very nice
we were 1 minute late for breakfast and couldn't be service in main room as we hadn't already paid. Then had to wait 30 minutes from breakfast to be serviced at bar. We were on a tight schedule so this was stressful.
7.0
Beautiful setting, amazing communal spaces
The room was very "tired, I was so disappointed with the room when we got there, as it was my husband's 60th birthday and we had tickets for the area and I wanted it to be a "special" time. The room was very tired and realistically needs updated decor and bathroom to justify the approximately £170 night price tag
8.0
Easy to find, good layout, and very comfortable bed. Good gym, very clean and friendly
The sink was blocked for my entire stay (the plug wouldn’t undo), so it was a bit grim when needing to use the sink. The heating didn’t work either but there was a mobile heater in the room. I just would have thought the executive rooms would be all in working order…

Great staff good facilities. Nothing was too much trouble
Bit tired in decor but still good

Breakfast was pricey

Nice location, room was very nice too and the hotel had a nice layout, so it was easy to get to my room and get out to the NEC as a result due to it's position.
It was a lot more pricey than I was expected probably due to the time as multiple events were on around at the NEC.
5.0
Just very overpriced, for what we paid I was surprised to find that areas of the bathroom and bedroom were in need of repair. Parking is just ridiculously expensive as well. As for the price of breakfast think that's a bit of a joke really.
Just overpriced, location was good for what we needed and bed was comfy.

The room was lovely spacious and clean
Guys and girls on concierge and housekeeping were really nice and helpful
Honestly it may sound silly but the men on checkin/reception were not that nice and quite stuck up and spoke down to me probly because i wasnt in a suit the ladies were lovely and helpfull
Also directions to the room were not good especially when the hotel is like a maze or labyrinth

buffet breakfast was lovely, close to NEC
Could have been a larger room

Food
No facilities for families in a family room. No fridge to store baby milk. Couldn’t provide anywhere to store it and wouldn’t provide warm milk of an evening via room service. Had to ask for lots of amenities for room which normally are provided. Staying in an executive room snacks and drinks only available for a 2 hour slot which is around dinner time anyway.

Ideal location for the event we attended
Nothing, it was good
6.0
Perfect location for NEC.
Infrastructure Overall is outdated. Wallpainting has scratches, wallpapers peel off slowly. British standard. Not comparable to EU standards. For the money it’s OK. But I expect more for a Hilton.

Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and tidy.
We contacted the hotel prior to the stay to request 2 singles and a sofa bed. This wasn’t actioned for our arrival even though we had an email saying it would be fine. When we complained our room was changed whilst we were at an event and when we returned at 11.30pm we were greeted with 3 single beds and bedside tables stacked on top of each other. Not what you expect when you pay over £200 for a room!

Breakfast was good.
There wasn’t even a complimentary water bottle in the room, which was very disappointing. The shower cubicle was so small. We booked a family room but it was just a small double room. Upon laying the sofa bed there weren’t any space in the room at all..

The location was perfect and the staff were very helpful and lovely people
It looks like a prison for me outside and then looking out it felt like one. It looks very dated brown. Just not nice. Following on from this my room was disgusting. The bed was uncomfortable and paying 293.00 When the Travelodge was more comfortable. I thought I would treat myself to the Hilton this year for insomnia. I won't be doing it again next year. Going back to Travelodge. Very disappointed.
Just really unreasonable prices and I was just shocked how bad it was.

Room - Small, but quite nice in appearance. It was pretty clean.
Breakfast - I didnt have breakfast from the hotel, so cannot comment on it myself
Location - Fantastic, 10 minute walk from the NEC which was perfect for my needs
Room - Gas detector was missing a cover, leaving exposed wiring - while it was safe (i.e. unlikely to cause harm), it was still a concern. The shower only let a small flow of water out, not suitable for showering. The air conditioning was left with an error, stopping it from functioning. I did find one or two bugs creeping up around the carpet, but thats to be expected anywhere.
Breakfast - I didnt have breakfast from the hotel, so cannot comment on it myself
Location - I think the hotel itself was a little confusing to navigate at first. There was also some chainlink fencing around some of the green areas, almost like it was under construction. Not a negative to me, but possibly something to be aware of. Otherwise, no issues!
3.0
The hotel bar staff were very friendly and the bar food was good value for money. We liked the swimming pool although it should be free.
Hidden charges - WiFi, drinks service charges, charges for the swimming pool etc. One of our rooms had a pipe issue with brown water coming out of the taps. The reception staff were borderline rude when asked a question. For example, we asked if the cash point was working and were told,'You can see it isn't. Go to the NEC'.

Executive lounge is great value, breakfast and light bites at night are of great quality. Staff is amazing and the best asset of this hotel, they really do their utmost to make guests feel welcome, every single time my pre-arrival requests were addressed.
As for the room I always in an Executive King Room so can't really comment on other options, the room is all it is purported to be, the views are probably better from other rooms in higher levels but these are architectural limitations that don't bother me.
The cost on gym/pool facilities is something that I would have liked to see included in the room package I chose, I have not used the car park but there is a cost on that as well from what I gathered from other guests. It is something that can be worked on.
8.0
location, facilities, atmosphere, cleanliness and staff
prices
£24 for glasses of wine did seem excessive
5.0
Good location, decent access to the building through various routes, shower was good, safe useful for valuables
Loose light/sprinkler fitting, dirt in some of vents, wallpaper beginning to peel in places, bathroom too open plan, room was overpriced for what you got, bed too hard and high
4.0
The room was clean and comfortable the staff were very nice kind and polite as you would expect however!!!!
The Breakfast was awful very dry and tasteless. The evening meal was not very nice the fish and chips were Luke warm as if it had been left for a while before being served. I was in room 4047 and on two occasions I had to leave my room to tell drunken people to shut up and keep the noise down (where was the security) the hotel that weekend was full of drunks and being idiots into the early hours within the hotels corridors, they should have been dealt with as to consider other guests. I spend 2 long weekends at the NEC every year on business this is the first and last time I stay at the Hilton very disappointing
8.0
Easy access to the event venue, spacious room
One of my towels in the bathroom upon arrival already had a large makeup stain on it however as there were plenty of towels I chose not to use that one!

Blood stained sheets. Not changed. Disgusting!
Had to clean bath before using it.

Fabulous keep spotless staff were amazing always willing to help with everything and show us the way around
Unfortunately, it had to be the room next to us it was full of young lads who were playing loud music and smoking on their balcony, which made our room smell of cigarette smoke

Location was perfect for NEC.
