Friendly staff, options for tours were easy and nice rooms

The rooms were very comfortable and the friendliness of the staff was fantastic. What we most liked about staying here was the food at Mimi's Restaurant. We tried every meal on the menu and it was a knockout. We rated them a 10/10.
we didn't get face washers or a bath mat for the shower

Location in the park and laundry services
Lots of bugs-but to be expected.

Pool was great, reception area and close to cruise
Rooms were quite small for a family of 4, showers were average and leaked. It was end of wet season so lots of bugs (not their fault). Couldn’t eat in outdoor restaurant without being inundated with bugs. Food was overpriced aswell
5.0
Overpriced, it was a bit disappointing considering it was the off season.
Due to a highway closure we were unable to reach the hotel on the first night of our stay, it was impossible to get through to reception to let them know that we would be able to get there.
I am aware a few other traveler's had similar concerns

We loved everything about this place, the staff, facilities, restaurant, pool and especially our room. We visited the Cultural Center (excellent), went for a boat trip (both fun and educational) and though it was the wet season, loved every minute of being in Kakadu.
Nothing

Remoteness, calm in February, extreme cleanliness of the rooms and facilities!!

Great location, cosy accomodation, helpful staff
A little bit pricey restaurant. Petrol costs were highway robbery.

Don't forget join-in Yellow river cruise. It was unforgettable experience for me.
And birds, insects and animal singing through the night read you to the ancient dream.
Then you can learn about Aboriginal culture here.
Visit culture center, Eva and Mako will help you much.
Thanks my friends!
If we have more options for food here, experience get more deeper.
How about bush tucker cooking?
Oh and one more thing, Roo burgers meat should be minced and add more bush spice.
NOT add Worcestershire sauce!
If you so, It will be become your signature cooking. Trust me.

Beds only
Price was twice + price of other accommodation in the same area

It's a great location to stay at if you have booked the Yellow Water cruises..Very convenient.Room is comfortable but no toaster or plates, bowls, cutlery if you want to make your own breakfast
Very overpriced for what is a basic motel room. You are paying for the convenience of the location near the river cruises

So close to the river, yellow river tour loved the food offered there.
A bit pricey, but for one night was terrific place to stay.

Great location, good resort facilities and comfortable room in the Outback Retreat with a lovely bush outlook.
In comparison to other places and for what you get it is overpriced.

stayed in glamping tent, beautiful decor, cute and comfortable. Could park close to room and shared amenities with basic kitchen very close.
Great food options for dining out plus stocked grocery store. Friendly staff helpful with advice on local attractions.
not ca big deal but was surprised not to have a tv in glamping room given the high end price.
Shared amenities were good but the showers sharing draining between stalls was a bit unpleasant.

Room was excellent

the facilities block for the glamping tents was very well set up with luxury toiletries in the bathrooms and a well-equipped common kitchen area.
the restaurant was a bit expensive but i can highly recommend the kangaroo steak.
Ultimately this is just a campground, a very expensive one. I had hoped for a little piece of my own space in the bush for some peace and quiet to enjoy nature in my "outback retreat" glamping tent. When i arrived i was allocated a tent right opposite a kids playground and one of the swimming pools - for $500 a night? no way! when i asked to change to another tent I was allocated apparently the only other option in the entire grounds, which was not far away from the original tent, but this time it had a lovely outlook of the large orange toilet block. it also turned out to be right near the loading dock for the restaurant facilities. there was beeping delivery trucks both mornings, 4WD's coming and going all day, and even a large tanker of some sort that sat idling right near my tent for what felt like ages on one of the mornings. the tents are also fairly close together so you have limited privacy and also have the noise from your neighbours and their children. i don't think it's a huge stretch to say my apartment in Sydney is probably more peaceful than my allocated tent at Cooinda Lodge was. Also, no wi-fi or phone reception, only Telstra 3G for those devices who have it, which would've been fine if there had been a bit of warning so i could let people know I'd be uncontactable for most of the next 2 days. just a really disappointing experience, especially for that price.

Lovely setting and very clean facilities.
A bit too much like a holiday camp but fortunately our tents were far enough away . Food a bit hit and miss - finished quite early and quality could be better

It’s very handy for going to the billabong cruise. The bed is very comfortable.
The price is a bit high for a couple staying.

A lovely venue in the heart of Kakadu and a great spot to base yourself when exploring the area. Food options are limited and very expensive, especially when staying for a couple of days.

We enjoyed the out door restaurant/eatery.
the adult pool could do with an upgrade.

We stayed in the "glamping room". Our tent was on the outskirts which meant that it was closer to the bush and quieter, however further from the amenities block. Depending on your preferences, this could be something to consider when booking and requesting a specific tent. We had dinner in the restaurant and were really impressed with the tasting plate for two which showcased local produce with barramundi, crocodile, buffalo and local relishes and spices.
Also the best place to stay for the Yellow River Cruises which leave from the carpark here, especially if you are taking the sunrise cruise which I highly recommend as the birdlife is at its best at this time of day, the middle of the day cruises are too hot. I'm told, however, if you want to see buffalo, they are best seen on the sunset cruise (maybe take both sunrise and sunset!).
We had trouble opening the amenities block which requires a passcode. Some of the numbers were sticky and hard to use at times (which is only really an issue if you are in a hurry).

great location and comfortable lodgings
felt like it needed a bit of tlc particularly the gardens
7.0
location, spread out, different accom options, pools
cost of food and drinks and surcharges that get added with no explanation staff not very friendly and low english skills, shower mouldy
6.0
Good location, but not much choice in the area.
Restaurant food not so great.
3.0
The pool was lovely. Meal was nice for dinner.
The cost was $385 per night. For this kind of money I would have expected a lot more. The state of the shower recess was vile. Covered in orange and black mould with the recess leaking out into the bathroom and bedroom. No hot water. Unfortunately and probably unable to change it, a large group of students were staying with a line out the door to get breakfast taking over 30 minutes. When we eventually were able to access the buffet breakfast, it was average for the price…and quantity/quality was poor. I emailed property however they did not respond.
