hotel was beautiful, the vip area was brilliant

Location, room size. Food in restaurant was very good.

Breakfast was poor- long queue for omelette station. Coffee was from a machine- which for 2 days ran out of coffee. Smell at times in hotel was nauseating-like air freshener trying to cover unpleasant odour but failing!

we upgrade from studio to star suit and pay the difference the room given was studio not suit the pictures totally different and the size from what show in booking than after change as one of the staff (different than the others) was so rude high voice bad attitude all staff good and friendly except that one hope not to meet her again

The location

I got there at 1:30 ish and they said my room wasn’t ready, so then I got conned into an upgrade because my room wasn’t ready, I got charged an extra £40. The upgrade room was disgusting, huge stains all over the carpet and walls. I asked for a refund of the £40 upgrade charge and to be put in a standard room which is what I initially booked. Amazingly my standard room was ready, so obviously they lied about it not being ready to get me to pay for an upgrade. The bed sheets had some very noticeable stains on them. If I could have got an immediate refund I would have checked out and gone elsewhere. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. When I went to complain about my room the staff at the front desk were cold and unhelpful, I was told my refund had been processed. When I checked out I asked again about my refund and they said there was nothing on the system about a refund. It took 15 minutes for them to process the refund and this time I asked for an invoice for proof, which they reluctantly printed out.

A localização do hotel é excelente. O hotel entrega tudo. Bom serviço, instalações... Ainda dão 50% de desconto no cardápio do bar/restaurante, cuja qualidade dos pratos é ótima. Era o antigo Hard Rock. O hall/bar é diferenciado.

There was a terrible drain smell on the 4th floor when I arrived at around 3.30 pm on Sunday 11th February On Monday morning 12th February there was no hot water in the shower or sink between 6 am when I woke up to 9 am when I checked out. Terrible as I was on business with 5 meetings that day. This is basic necessities. My friend stayed here last year and said the same happened to her !

There was a mistake on my booking where 2 nights were booked instead of 1 night. I only stayed 1 night as I was flying home but Cumberland and Booking.com are still charging me for 2 nights despite me checking out. I won’t use booking . Com or stay at Cumberland again

This place is amazing! It’s gorgeous, fun deco, great rooms, fantastic location, friendly staff. Loved our stay. Will return.

في بدايه شارع اكسفورد ويطل على حديقه الهايدبارك مباشره ويجانب شارع اجورد الشهير وعند محطه الاندرقروند مباشره

صغر حجم الغرفه ولكنها مناسبه لزوجين رغم ان اخذت الكنق

-Tried to order a drink at the main bar. Got ignored by the bar-tender. So gave up -Bathroom in room smelled strongly of urine. - Small room not worth £242 per night - very expensive room service

Extremely bad experience at the reception. I locked myself out of the room and wanted to get a key from the reception. I was getting late to meet a friend at a fine dining restaurant. The lady Allyssa at the reception asked me to stand in the long queue of people who were checking in. These were new guests who had to give their ID/ credit card etc. I was an existing guest who needed an extra key. I begged that I was getting late, Alyssa was extremely rude. A guy from the concierge staff tried to help me. Alyssa asked him not to help which didn't make any sense. It seems like she was punishing me for staying at the Cumberland. I am an extremely well-traveled person and a Genius 3 member of Booking .com. I have never experienced such a rude behavior from anyone. Also, she said she was manager!!

Guy walking into room to clean carpets as we was just getting out of shower Order room service doesn’t arrive, tried to cancel no answer on reception, had to get dressed and go down to reception and wait ages in the line to cancel it

Het zou fijn zijn als de schoonmaakploeg niet om 5uur s'ochtends begint met schoonmaken en deuren dichtslaan. Het tapijt in de gangen en kamers ruikt onaangenaam .

Perfekt lokasjon. Kort vei til Oxford Street og til nærmeste togstasjon. Hyggelig personale, god frokost.

Some of the staff in the reception were very rude When we checked in and it’s not my first time to encounter rudeness in the reception because it’s not my first visit in this hotel we stayed as guests in hard rock hotel, yet some employees were still there. But some employees were really nice just to be fair and helped us delightfully. What’s really frustrating even asking for water has conditions in the hotel, when it was there mistake to not bring water from day one. The location is the best thing about it.

Location, great atmosphere at the bar downstairs, super helpful staff and rooms were good too which was surprising for what we paid in central london . Great value for money

Beautiful hotel, Lively Bar, Great cocktails and perfectly located at the top of Oxford street.
