Did not realize there would be so many young children being loud around the hotel

The hotel was clean and the food was very tasty (breakfast was average).
The location and getting to the hotel was terrible. A fire broke out at midnight and we had to evacuate the hotel. We didn’t know what was going on as none of the staff present could speak English to us.

We already have visited Hotel Sahrai last year and it is always a pleasure to spend a part of our holidays there. We just fell in love with this splendid place.
Everything is perfect, from the reception, to the room, all outdoors facilites. The spa is a haven of peace.
The breakfast is fantastic. The security and all the staff are fabulous. Anywhere you walk in the hotel, you always feel very welcomed.
This year we had a chance to meet Samantha who was adorable with us all along ou stay and pleas say thank you again to her as she took very well care of us.

The hotel interior is very beautiful. The view of the city is amazing. There are variety of restaurants serving very delicious food (although very much overpriced) both Moroccan and International. The rooms are very comfortable, great air conditioning system, spacious. Housekeeping staff are very friendly and disciplined
The hotel is located in an abandoned place where you cannot find regular taxis. In order to get into Medina or the city centre you need to ask the reception to get you a taxi. But you get a standard price of MAD 50 although the realistic price is between MAD 10-20.
Also for the airport transfer you get a ridiculous quotation from the staff (one says MAD 300, the other says MAD 350). However, the actual price would be between MAD 150-180 max.
I personally thing both adult and kids pools should have a heating system as the water is very cold despite burning weather conditions. That being said, if you to there with a child to swim, I’d say it is not a child friendly hotel.
Last, the hotel facilities show indoor pool picture and sauna, however, they do not exist according to staff…

Pool area is the best asset of the hotel. The view is also a big plus and sunsets are really enjoyable from the rooftop bar.
Nothing special

The property is lovely, and really comfortable. Beautifully designed and has a relaxing environment.

The breakfast is excellent, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, but what made Hotel Sahrai stand out for us was their human side. Mrs. Semira applied a traditional remedy to our 8-year-old daughter with a fever. After which she kissed her on the forehead. My wife and I will be forever grateful. And of course, the General Manager, Mrs. Lamiaâ Boujnini, who organized a wonderful in-room dinner for us and took on a difficult assignment I asked for some handmade leather goods. We couldn't leave the hotel but they made everything easy and comfortable for us. Thank you.
We stayed in several 5 star Hotels during this travel and none offers a drink before check in. Not even the Four Seasons. Not sure why.

The rooms and the environment of Hotel Sahrai is super good!! And the view on the terrace outside the restaurant is great! The hotel has swimming pool with view of Medina of Fes, but unfortunately we stayed during the winter time and didn’t have a chance to swim. The breakfast is good compared to the normal hotels in Fes, they offer many kinds of fruits and vegetables. Overall recommend!
Overall good, but if you mind the location of the hotel is on the mountain near the new city which makes it quite hard to go to the Medina by yourself (hotel has taxi to drive you to the town of course and charge extra).

Very nice hotel. We were on a honeymoon and were upgraded to an excelent room with a beautiful view to Fez and to the rooftop and the infinite pool. We went to both restaurants for dinner, to the bar after dinner, and used the shuttle to the city center. Everything was perfect. The hotel is small but very beautiful, very clean and super confortable.
To get to the hotel the surroundings are not great. We went to the shopping mall once and the taxi refused to take us to the hotel as it was very close. However, to go to the hotel you have to climb a hill in a not so nice surrounding.

The staff was very nice and food was decent.
Beautiful view from the terrace
The hotel is located in a slum literally with piles of trash very weird.
No real closet just open hanging stuff.
The carpet in the bedroom ( I would have preferred no carpet) but it was seriously stained. Not good.
