Loved every minute!
Very warm welcome, beautiful rooms and building and a lovely pool!
Walk up to the elephant statue was well worth the climb. What a view!!
Dinner at the stepwell must not be missed. We thought it seemed a bit pricey for India but it was totally worth it. The setting is like nothing we’ve ever seen!
Headed off early on the Leopard Safari with low expectations but we’re lucky enough to see three beautiful leapords. What luck!
Reluctantly left after a beautiful breakfast.
Highly recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It was the most incredible location in a fantastic, small village, a real privilege

The beauty of the surroundings, the characterful heritage rooms, the attentive and friendly service
The pool needs cleaning more thoroughly, and the drains need attention.

The best hotel we stayed in while in India. Gorgeous premises, comfortable rooms, great staff, excellent food options, beautiful location and several interesting activities for exploring the village and surroundings.

The property is very well maintained and rooms are very good. The hospitality is excellent and the staff is extremely warm and knowledgable. Given the location there are a lot of activities offered and all are unique which shouldn’t be missed. The food is also very good and the stepwell dinner is something not to be missed at all. Overall amazing experience and highly recommended.

A very authentic hotel giving a taste of old India with modern comfort . It was used by a Maharajah during his travels . Nice staff . Beautiful swimming pool .

Fantastic fairy tail like hotel with nice swimming pool with view on the Elephant hill. We did the 2 hour hike to the top of the elephant hill with superb views on the nearby mountain hills. Good restaurant with outside dining.

The location is the key here. Right in the middle of a village and next to countryside teeming with leopards. A really special place to stay. Upgraded on arrival to a room in the newer wing which perhaps lacked the personality of the heritage room we had booked (but the superior aircon was important in the summer heat). Good Indian food served on the rooftop. Amazing views of the adjacent hill. Highly recommend a couple of nights here.
The newer wing lacks the character of the old part of the house.

The service by the staff was very good. They were courteous and reactive. They were doing their best they could with resources they had. The leopard safari is a must. Even if it was a bit overpriced the experience makes it really memorable. Naturalist Manvendra is very passionate and good!
Overly priced. Very low value for money. Food was average. Issues with power cuts, water supply. Bad location with literally nothing around forces you to stay in the hotel and consume the overly priced food and drinks. As a guest you are left with no choice but to accept overly priced activities offered by the hotel to pass time. Stepwell dinner which is the main attraction in the pictures of the hotel is surprisingly located 2kms away from the hotel and is again overly priced. Overall, we felt mugged/exploited after our stay in this very average heritage hotel. Their other property Ajit Bhavan in Jodhpur is far better in terms of quality and money value.
