The place is very remote No toiletries like bath towels, tooth brush, shampoo n body soap

Wonderful, affordable place to stay! Highly recommend this villa if you are spending time in the wetlands and/or coming to see the cranes.

The only problem is that they only provided one sheet per futon. So we did not have a top sheet, only a bottom sheet, which made sleeping not as nice. Also, you need to bring your own towel and shampoo, etc.

We stay in a lovely small house, one bedroom with living room, kitchen, toilet etc. the owner is very friendly. I wish I can come back to stay there again some day.

I hope they can clean microwave as well after guests check out.

Fantastic location next to all key crane viewing and feeding points.

Only a tiny soap bar left in the kitchen, none in the bathroom. No heating in the bathroom. Lounge could do with a sofa. Futon sheets/blankets didn’t feel clean.

I wish we had stayed longer. The little house is in the farmlands, so a good chance to see some cranes. Good shower. Great facilities. They provide futons and thicker mattresses - despite being a foreigner, the futon was very comfortable. The owner’s restaurant (where we collected the keys from) is 200m down the road - really recommend for any meal, and for souvenirs. Really lovely, friendly, and helpful host.

Nothing in particular. The house is about 30 minutes outside of Kushiro town but that was our preference so it didn’t bother us.
