Nice room with a desk. Close to West Lake.

Hotel is relatively expensive compared to alternatives. The check-in process was a bit awkward with the receptionist going through a set of memorized questions without really seeming to have much understanding of English. After having given him our passports he said 'can I have your passports please' and 'what's your name?' (it's right there in my passport, right?).

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the free toiletries were very nice.

We wanted a room with a balcony so that we could sit there in the evenings. There was no furniture on the balcony though. The rooftop terrace was also closed.

Great location, clean, big rooms

Breakfast looked good but was not impressed with it. They would not give out soft fried eggs over cooked rubber splodges. The reason give was that they could not guaranty the quality. Why is a large 5 star hotel buying substandard eggs. Restaurant staff need lessons on customer interaction.

Location was really great and the room comfortable. The pool and spa was under renovation, but we had access to the Hyatt Regency spa with free car shuttle. The lobby bar staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The room and bathroom were a bit old, but clean. Overall, the hotel is a bit tired and dated. Perhaps this is common in China but the common areas have a pervasive smell of cigarette smoke. The lobby bar smelt fine though.

Very good location, 5 minutes walking from Subway station and West lake.

Swimming pool is not available during the stay

Everything. Amazing and expansive breakfast. Large room with bath and shower. Lots of little touches upon arrival such as chocolates, treats and little notes etc. Zero complaints
