it’s not that I didn’t like the location, as it was perfect. I was not trusting the GPS instructions and yes, Villa Sumrak is at the end of the road.

The distance between hotel and the neareast entrance of national park is about 15 mins. The host was super friendly, and the facilities were better than our expected. The food was awesome. would definately recommend this place.

Perfect location, perfect house / room, excellent authentic Croatian meals. Host is kind, helpful. Would definitely suggest, who want to rest. We will visit again.

First of all, the attention to detail here is amazing…from heated floors in the bathroom to dinners made especially for you! The rooms were large and beautifully done!! Miro and Marina were the perfect hosts…so kind and accommodating! We loved how we could easily walk to Plitvice Park and be there by 7am to beat the crowds! We loved this stay, and hope to be back again one day!!!

Beautifully designed rooms. Large and very comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful host. The location near the unofficial back entrance to the park is a great plus.

There seems to be a problem with the sewerage which causes a very bad smell in the bathroom after showering. Quite expensive but I guess that's the standard in the area.

Very clean and comfortable, quiet place, with all the amenities you would need. Close to the entrance to the park, 15 minutes walking distance, and you don't have to stress about parking at the park. Easy access and crazy good food. The hosts will give you all the information you need to make your stay comfortable. Would certainly recommend to families.

I loved the green and the peace and quiet that surrounded the property, fresh air, the perfect place to relax in a conformable bed or on a beautiful terrace. The room was clean and smelled good. The hosts ware hospitable with lots of jokes and useful info regarding the lakes and surrounding that make the trip easier. Breakfast was good and really all you can eat, the hosts provided lactose free dairy for our son. We chose to eat dinner at the property cos it was fresh and tasty, Lovely place

This place exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and recently renovated in a wonderful modern style. Marko and the team were incredibly welcoming and cooked great meals for us while we were there. The location is nestled deep in the woods, but perfect for park access away from the crowds. Would definitely recommend.

We were very warmly greeted by Miro on our arrival. He was very patient with us, explaining which walking trails would be best for us to take. The family run Villa Sumrak is very well located and the rooms were great. They gave us the option for breakfast and dinner which we took and were not disappointed. The home made dinners, which were served by the lovely Matias, Maja, and Marko, were super delicious! We would highly recommend a stay at Villa Sumrak and hope to return back someday!!

Everything.The location is excellent,15 minutes walk to P3 entrence in Plitvice Park. The rooms,villa and the surrounding area are cozy and comfortable. But the most important and wonderful thing are the Sumrak family, best hosts ever, always there with all the informations you need. The dinner and dessert are the best things we had in our entire holiday. Keep up the great work! Thanks :)

It didn't bother us, but a baby chair would be a good improvement for a family like us.

It's a family run place by Miro and his family. Miro was an amazing host - taking care of all the needs. On check-in he sat us down with a glass of wine and explained to us extensively everything we could do during our 2 days of stay this place. This really helped us prepare and be really comfortable taking our 3 and 7 year olds on the long treks. Additionally, the place is quite close to one of the entrances and this makes so much sense to stay this way.

Miro is an amazing host! he and his family did a great job in hosting us. The breakfast was very delicious and the room was big and clean. The park entrance is just in a walking distance.

This place is run by amazing family who really made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Accommodation is clean and nicely furnished with everything you need. Breakfast was good and they have lovely patio where you can relax and have a drink. Marko the host gave us good tips about visiting the park and it was very informative and helpful. Have in mind that the location is some 20minutes walk to the entrance but you can also take a car to nearby. Wasn't a problem for us. We found this location perfect because you enter from Entrance 3 which is in the back and less crowded. Just make sure to buy your ticket online earlier as this Entrance 3 doesn't have ticket office. We would stay again here for sure. It was a perfect stay!

They offer dinner which is a bit expensive 24e per person. But it was a nice dinner and one time dinner wasn't a problem for us having in mind that the restaurants are not that close.
