Everything was better than expected. We came to CR for wildlife and hiking. There were many beautiful birds and coati right outside our cabin on the property. The cabins are quite secluded from each other and very private. We did not have a car rental but were easily able to make the short walk into town to the local grocery and coffee shop. The sidewalk extends from Los Pinos cabins nearly all the way to the Monteverde cloud forest reserve but there is a handy public bus that makes that trip several times daily. We were able to walk to the Curi Cancha Reserve and back. The staff are all just great and helped with transportation and local guides. I would come back to CR just to stay at Los Pinos for several days. Great memories.

I rarely write reviews and all I have to say is RELAXING! Very friendly staff. Great central location between Monteverde Park and Santa Elena. Great value. I’m afraid to give it too much praise because I don’t want it to be booked up on our next trip.

Absolutely great! Warm welcom of Ann, big, cosy and private house just for our family-parents and 4 children-teenagers. We have got villa with dining room and small kitchen and 3 rooms each with shower and toilet, terrace was also big and surronded by nature! Absolutely reccomende👍😀

Ana at reception was wonderful. She was very welcoming and helped us with booking our tours. Even kept us informed via whatsapp. Hot shower was a blessing after activities. The balcony was lovely, and the hammock was quirky. Great for spotting the white nosed pizote! They were very flexible when we checked out. Bakery across the road was very handy. Treks around the hotel were great, and the viewing point was fantastic.

Cabin got quite cold in the evenings and mornings, but we did have plenty of blankets. Decor was dated but added to the charm.

Wonderful location and also really appreciated the nice trails right on the property.

The living area was smaller than expected-- it looks like it was a porch that was enclosed at some point. This made family time at the end of the day a little challenging. But it wasn't a big deal.

It was really pretty & quiet & clean & spacious. We loved the hammocks on the deck.

beautiful accommodation in the middle of the jungle yet close to town and mantas beach. outside our property we saw many macaw parrots and other jungle animals. breakfast were delicious to. highly recommended
