Charron is a wonderful host. The property is in close proximity to all the action of Newport and a quick drive to the beach. My little one loved swimming in the pool and Charron even shared several pool toys. The little touches Charron brought to the space were lovely, like flowers from her garden in the cottage. Charron was wonderful to work with through the entire booking and even while we were on site.

We had a fantastic time and the pool was amazing. Even though the pool is not heated it was 80degrees most days, very clean and a beautiful outdoor space. Our 11 year old had a blast! Our hostess was friendly and accommodating and the unit was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again! The location was also good, very quiet

The cottage is adorable inside and out. Quiet neighborhood 1 mile from the beach. The owner is friendly and courteous. I stayed with my daughter as we looked at nearby colleges. Highly recommend!

This property was the perfect hub for our weekend in Newport. We had everything we needed for quick breakfasts before we spent our days exploring Newport. Beds were comfortable and there was enough room for four adults to sit together in the common area. Hosts are very responsive and truly care about the property. Unfortunately we didn’t leave ourselves enough time to enjoy the beautiful garden and pool house but maybe another time.

This house is away from the madness of the downtown area but a 5-10 minute Uber ride to restaurants. Sorry it was too chilly to use the pool but sitting in the beautiful gardens and pool house were wonderful. We would definitely recommend.

Nice place for sure, had to leave early due to family emergency, alittle pricey as I felt like a lot of restrictions, couldn’t use the screen house after a certain time so hard to sit outside with the bugs. Gate locked at a certain time, couldn’t use pool after a certain time. It was quite small for even 3 people for the price. Hostess was very nice.

Cottage was inviting and pleasantly decorated. Equipped with tea kettle, bottled water in fridge, beach towels and fresh flowers. Garden and pool area were welcoming and private. Host answered our questions quickly. Delightful experience!

We primarily visited to attend the Newport Folk Festival. The location was about a mile away to downtown and a short ride to the ferry. It was also very close to restaurants and other amenities iof the Newport area
The unit itself was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool which was surrounded by a beautiful garden. Charron ,the owner of the property, was very gracious about our questions about the plants she had placed in the pool area
Would definitely recommend staying there if you are visiting Newport.

Reed Rose Cottage is a lovely place to stay, especially when you can take advantage of the gorgeous outside area. We were happy to return to the house and lounge by the pool, just taking it all in. The host is very gracious and welcoming. Because we were in town for a wedding so had most meals already planned with family, we didn’t take advantage of the pool house and grill, although the set it up means that guests can easily enjoy a meal outdoors. [The kitchenette upstairs is fine for making toast and coffee, not for serious cooking.]

Probably the prettiest house on the block, this cottage was as advertised. Though weather did not permit us to swim, the pool and yard were a relaxing atmosphere. The space is the top floor and it was very clean and had nearly everything you needed for a stay with children in tow. Now of only our hosts could have changed the weather! Thank you Charron!

Friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful garden and pool, and clean, cute accommodations. Greeted by beautiful flower arrangements from the garden. Coin laundry not on site. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a great time. My son loved using the pool all the time and wanted that over the beach. Charron was very helpful with recommendation of places to go and eat.

We felt there was no flexibility in regards to any type of refund during COVID surge. Our elderly parents were not able to come due to the surge and no refund at all was offered even though we did give adequate notice
The shower tub was clogged and did not drain. Also the kitchen supplies were sparse

We came down to Newport for the Jazz Festival and had a wonderful weekend at the cottage. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Charron was very welcoming and met us to show us around . The gardens and pool area are beautiful, although we were so busy we didn’t have much time to enjoy them. We will plan on coming back again next year!

The property was absolutely beautiful! The pool was great and the outdoor space was so relaxing. The apartment was perfect for our needs. The beds were very comfortable.
Charron is wonderful. She was so welcoming and very willing to give recommendations for things to do in the area. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to our favorite restaurant for breakfast (Corner Café).

Very comfortable stay. The pool was wonderful. We took Ubers in and out of downtown Newport. I was grateful for the lovely gardens, the coffee and cream that was left for me and beautiful hydrangea cuttings that Charron gave me. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great property for my group who was participating in the Rhode Races Newport 5k from 1st Beach. Backyard pool area was tranquil and beautiful, although it was too chilly for us to swim on our trip. Easy walk over to restaurants on Broadway as well. House is in a lovely neighborhood with quiet streets for nice walks/runs.

We had a very enjoyable experience at reed cottage. Charron was very helpful and always attended to our needs. The pool -!: pool house was perfect and my kids loved it, especially the privacy with just my family using the pool. The unit was clean and well suited for a 4 person family. My wife and I spent two nights at Rose Cottage over Labor Day weekend. The property is a private setting that matched with the photos & description provided in the listing. It is quiet and comfortable, with the only real drawback being the location to downtown Newport with is roughly a 20-30 minutes walk. It is doable, but not exactly convenient. Another factor that some may want to be aware of is that the owners live on the first floor of the cottage. While this was not a problem for us and we felt that we had a private getaway, you are not alone on the property and need to be mindful of people living below you. That said, our brief interactions with Charron and her husband were always very friendly and pleasant. The property is beautiful and the gardens simply amazing. We had a very nice stay. We were looking for a quiet break and the Rose Cottage delivered.
