Staff was friendly.

The pictures on Booking.com are not how the room is in reality. We all fluff photos for selling and social media, but still. I thought our room would have a balcony. Well, it did. But it is actually the walkway to other people's rooms. No carpets, no bedside lamps, tiny towels and a horrid red dirty hotel event chair as the chair by the table. It felt like we are staying in a cheap hostel. Narrow squeeze past the bed to the bathroom. Luckily we only needed a place to sleep and it was for only one day. Anything longer and I would have checked out and find other lodgings. Don't let the 'boutique' fool you.

no breakfast was consumed

the fact that i arrived at the hotel accomodation and not the actual self catering apartments also theta when i called the previous day i didnt receive the location after an entire 45 min of checking in the staff only realised that i actually wasnt staying on that specific property and then re directed me to the apartments on kingsway at the actual apartment , oncce we everntually arrived there , a bad smell was prevelant in the flat..masked by a cleaning detergent ..it was un pleasant . No basic introduction of the place or overview or info wrt loadshedding etc also when checking out , the staff member /caretaker was very very rude..didnt greet us , just stormed into the flat to check all the contents , as if we would have broken or stolen anything and couldnt wait to rid of us beautiful view of beach, but absolutely nothing else special , i most def wont be returning here for another stay

Breakfast was first class with a very good menu and lovely kind and efficient staff…and a good chef The surroundings very pleasant and a swimming pool for warm weather. The place has character

For me all was fine but a Mircowave is always useful

Nothing it was am exceptional stay.

The room was big and we were served with an excellent breakfast.

The place is quiet and classic! The staff are friendly. In everything they are excellent

The carpet was very dirty, when there’s load shedding there’s no water supply and the Wi-Fi wasn’t so great.
