Es linda, acogedora y es el lugar perfecto para alejarse de todo y relajarse. Tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 baños completos, un gran concepto abierto de sala de estar / comedor / cocina y un patio pavimentado con fogatas y muebles de salón. También cuenta con puertas corredizas de vidrio con vistas al lago desde el dormitorio principal y la sala de estar.
Usted tiene su propio muelle privado y acceso al lago. Además, ofrecemos un código de embarcación para que lo use si alquila o trae su propia embarcación. Nice getaway with a fully stocked home. Lounging in bed while looking at the lake was the perfect complement to a good book and readily available coffee just down the hall. Especially loved that it was pet friendly as our dog child loves her stays along lakefronts too.

Property was a perfect fit for our girls' weekend and as described. Accommodations were clean and everything that we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. We had a wonderful stay and will be back and recommend to others.

This was our first time booking a lake vacation (we are historically Nags Head vacationers) and we had a great time. The house was just as promised - convenient to the marina and main lake, large parking area for cars and boat, gazebo was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks (gate lock was a nice touch for dogs), dock for boat complete with a battery charger which we needed and saved us from having to bring ours down the hill, the house was very clean and provided us with all the amenities we needed and Susan was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. Our water dog enjoyed her daily swims in the lake and was able to climb the bank to exit the water. Jumping in and out became a game to her🐕🐕. We would definitely book with her again. The marina was only minutes away where we purchased gas and ice. The Dollar General was 4.5 miles away where you can pick up almost anything you forgot. Next trip I’m going to the winery which is just 2.7 miles from the house and was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to update the outside deck chairs. Everything else was perfect for us. Hope to rebook for a future get away. Thanks again Susan for being a wonderful host!

The house was a great location and a very nice home. Some minor issues such as light bulbs burnt out and some damaged boards on the boat dock and stairs, but as soon as we called the owner she got to work right away on getting repairs made while we were still there. I'm personally not a big fan of all the steps to the boat dock but that doesn't change my overall opinion of the property. Was perfect for our family of 4! Wish we would have stayed longer.

The house was clean and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Fishing down on the dock was great and when the sun became a little much, sitting in the gazebo having drinks and seeing a variety of birds, especially the bald eagle was great.

Awesome area of the lake, the property definitely needs some tlc on the outside, a couple of the boards on the dock needs replaced due to rot. The house gutters are clogged. Other than that the neighbors were very nice and the place is nice and shady.

The house was really nice. The bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed the lake, the views, and the gazebo with our coffee and meals. We hope to stay again in the future

Perfect quick get away. House was exactly as described and pictured. Like most of the homes at Gaston there were plenty of steps down to the water, but my legs are in better shape now! It’s also clear in the description that there is no stove. So prepare your meals for this. I loved the cozy atmosphere of this home and we thoroughly enjoyed fishing from the dock. Although there are no steps to the water for the dogs, mine had no problem navigating the rocks to get in or out. It could be a problem for older dogs though. This was a great house with comfortable beds and couches and served our purpose of a relaxing long weekend. We will be back!

This property is just as pictured. Home is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of fresh towels. Outside is so nice, with lake view& gazebo. Enjoyed the fire pit during our week-end stay. Boathouse is nice for fishing& relaxing, but the steps to it are not for the aging adult. Enjoyed our stay!

This was a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. The house is warm and welcoming and has so much provided for you so you can reduce your packing! The location was absolutely perfect for my husband and stepson to put the boat in and fish from the dock. The host even gave us an extra 3 hours on the check out time, we look forward to returning here soon!

We came for a fishing tournament, and there was plenty of room for our truck and boat trailer. Very close to Holly Grove Marina, by boat or car, and only a short drive to Interstate 85.
Would definitely stay here again.

Our group has stayed in the house for the last 3 years for a long weekend in March. We fish the lake and it is the perfect location where we can leave our boat in the water at the dock behind the house. Beautiful views from the house which sits high above the lake. The house is nice and clean and has everything we need. We hope to be back again next March.

The owner was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The lake view was beautiful. We went for thanksgiving weekend. We had our teenage children and our dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. If you have a kayak, it isn’t a far paddle to the marina if you need to venture there. The neighborhood was quiet. There was plenty of outdoor seating and also quite a few chairs at the dock. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything dated, boat house dock dirty.
Grill never cleaned.
No landscaping being done, had to clean patio to use etc.

We were here for the weekend for our sons high school fishing tournament. We had a great time and we plan on trying to book again next year when we have our tournament at Lake Gaston. Everything was exactly how it is listed on the website.

Enjoyed the relaxation of this location! The house had all the amenities we needed. Loved the water access/dock to float in the lake. We took advantage of the patio space and spent 99% of our time outside. Would definitely stay again!

We loved it. The steps up from the water will take your breath away. The kids had a blast swimming and tubing. I wish there was a way for the dogs to get out of the water but i planned ahead and bought a dog ramp for the boat. My 5 yr old lab would jump off the dock non stop. Great location for tubing from the boat. You can start right there. The house was great especially for the price. I just wish we had more time to spend there

Dock stairs and dock need a little TLC but house was great and location was perfect and using the boat lift is a big plus . Only issue is if you have a large boat the pass through under the bridge is tight . We enjoyed ourself very much here and will definitely rent here again . Owner is very easy going and easy to communicate with . That's a plus for sure .

A wonderful vacation spot!
My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this great property! The view of the lake is fantastic and the porch and gazebo are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. We also spent hours relaxing down at the dock and soaking in the beautiful views. We are already dreaming of coming back in the future!

Overall good stay
This is a really cute house and a great space on the water. As some other reviewers have mentioned, there is nowhere for dogs to get out of the water so you need to be prepared to lift them out. Also the steps going down to the dock our in need of significant repairs.

Could sometimes hear the nearby highway but most of the time it was quiet and relaxing. Stairs to dock were challenging depending on your mobility, but we love the fishing.

We had an awesome time here! It had pretty much everything we needed. The location is great, so close to the boat ramp/gas dock. The dock felt very private, and the gazebo was lovely. There is noise from the road nearby, but it was still peaceful most of the time. Some touches to make the place even better might include a new grill and a bit more cleanliness upon arrival...(overall it was still clean of course, but some things could've been more thoroughly cleaned, e.g., kitchen sink had remnants left over, bathroom garbage cans, etc.). We really enjoyed our stay and would've liked an extra couple of days!

I'm not sure what the cleaning fee I paid, was for. Once I finish cleaning off the deck and sweeping the gazebo the guys shows to do the yard work that should have already been done before the guess arrive. I was too exhausted to enjoy my trip. After sitting in the heat for about an hour and a half to two with a full bladder drain me and my guess. All of my guess was 60 and over.

This was a very pleasant stay just what the doctor ordered.fishing was great, if you like cat fishing then this is the place for you.The home is very welcoming and comfortable air conditioning works amazingly.overall I’d definitely come back again

house and property were maintained with no glaring problems.
Photos indicated more yard space than actually there; had a little difficulty turning the boat trailer around.
Front steps could use a safety rail and the slip guards should be permanently attached.
The boat lift cables need to be rewound correctly; currently the controls are reversed.
62 steps down to the dock were mostly solid; a few needed to be tightened and a hand rail is needed for the last few.
