这是一个由家族经营了120年的传统日本旅馆。内部装修仍然保持着日本的家庭氛围，但是设施都已经更新。令旅客能够在休息的时候也体验日本的文化。房间很干净，旅馆还贴心的地提供了免费咖啡。处于非常方便的市中心位置，很便利。离交通干道有一定距离，所以也很安静。虽然厕所，盥洗和泡澡是共用的，但也因此令房价相对便宜，性价比非常高。

Located within easy walking distance of the magnificent Kenrokuen garden, Ishiura Shrine, Kanazawa Castle park, the Nagamachi samurai & merchant house district, modern department stores, and various restaurants. Friendly host, Mr. S, told us he is the 4th generation running this ryokan. He kindly let us store our luggage there after checkout and before our next train. The spacious bath facilities included 4 showers and a large, deep tub of hot water. The lobby restrooms were sparkling clean & convenient. Free coffee in the lobby in the mornings was a special surprise!

The traditional miniature-sized bath towels might surprise Westerners used to bath sheets. For some reason, when booking online, I was only able to select up to a max of 3 travelers, so had to explain to the host we were actually a party of 4, and paid an additional fee at check-in.

It was a real immersion into the Japanese style of life. The owners were really kind. It was very hot when I stayed, but there is was very efficient air conditioning. The situation in Kanazawa was optimal. The wifi was working very well.

May be the most uncomfortable thing was the shared toilettes. But I know now this is a classical situation in Ryokan that the bathroom and the toilettes are shared and this was clearly indicated on the website. I was also a bit disappointed that there was no breakfast and no possibility to have dinner as I wanted to discover Japanese food from inside a typical family environment (and not only in restaurants). But that was a minor disappointment.

Location couldn't be better. Super clean and quiet. Near all the major sights. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The small art deco restaurant in front has great food as well.
