The host responded to my messages in a short time. The bed was comfortable.

The room was dusty, and the floor fan was put on the top of the table. The bed headboard was dusty as well as the desk, fan and tv monitor. The fridge was packed with other people's food, my assigned cabinet was occupied as well. Bath towels were soft, but had some minor stains. Late arrival tenant cooked in the kitchen after 11pm, and talked on the phone with the speaker on. The other day, the other tenant was in the kitchen with loud music. Greasy kitchen hood fan.

the look of the facility should have been fine but wait till you are there. the place I stayed is not the one I booked, I was transferred to another building on the same day I arrived at BC where I do not have any choice but to keep it since they can no longer cancel. So I am not sure if the rating can be said to be for Lee’s place or for Aaron place where I was transferred (I think this is a family business). hope this never happen to anyone else

Very dissapointed with the experience.I booked the accommodation at Lee’s place but was transferred to another building which is Aaron’s place. I already paid in full weeks prior to coming to the venue. I have told the host that I might not be able to sleep in the building the forst night for some change of plans but he should not have transferred me since it was already paid and I specifically said not to cancel the venue I booked. I was only advised on the 19th which is the first day of my arrival to BC, when I asked if he can refund the first night since I was transferred, he said it is not possible because it is already late (what?, and is this my fault? they should be advising the guest days prior to transfer or cancellation if the guest will approve. I just let it go.Good thing I do not need to sleep in the place the first night, I get there the second night just to be staying the whole night with a dog loudly barking not sure if it is from the neighbor or from where, and with thin walls I might say to hear the other rooms conversation and private activities and also hearing the sound of the water coming down the drain everytime someone flashes the toilet from upstairs.So I ended up restless that night. I have told the host that I will check out early and will not stay the third night cause I do not want to experience the same. I ended up staying at the airport 19 hours prior to my flight I message the host that I am hoping it will not happen to anyone else and that I was really not satisfied with the stay. the host said he/she will try to refund the first night but I don’t think he will because after he send me back the security deposit. He never msg anything anymore. I am really hoping that this will not be experienced by anyone else..thanks

Close to bus stop. Ample parking. Quiet house. Felt safe.

Could use a good clean (walls and floor)

The kitchen was large and well equipped, so making breakfast was easy.

A bit of lack of privacy. For example, when I needed to use the washroom in the evening, there were often people very close by at the table talking. Felt I was interrupting them each time. I was told I would have a private bathroom, which was part of the price, but that wasn't the case. The worker admitted the mistake and genuinely apoligized, and refunded the extra amount paid for private bathroom, so all good.

Lack of parking, too many people jammed into a home
