it was a late booking. I booked at around 1500hrs, and was told that I had to wait until the property was cleaned so i waited in the cafe across the street. then I was told to collect keys from a shop that was nearly 1km from the property so I had to take a cab to there and back. When I went in the property I found it had not been cleaned and the place was like someone had been partying there - very dirty. I told the host I would not stay and asked for a refund. I have not received one yet.... not good experience and I will be careful to use booking.com again.

Everything. Found a dirty apartment, with a used towel in the bathroom and toilet that doesn’t flush (even after waiting for an hour for the repairman to show me the special way to flush due to “ pluming problems” I still couldn't figure it out!!! This is a complete and utter disgrace!! Simply unacceptable!

I call several time but they didn't let me know access number to set up the key so l couldn't get any keys to enter the room even though l arrived the store before closing. They didn't give me image or something how to set up the key and what is Keycafe.

Dear Booking Com Management Team, I was recently in travel USA and booked lodgment in 5 different places via booking com. I am frequent traveler and trust on the services provided by Booking com. I had first time a very very bad experience with this Boston Downton Studio. I came to Boston 13h30 from New York by Bus. After Arrival I called many time on the number +1 617 465 3132 and told them that I am arrived, please let me know how I can collect the key. I received the link to to follow the key collection process but it doesn’t work. I called and sent message on the above phone number but no response. In short, few hours later a SMS that I have to go Boch Bros to collect the key. The Broch Bros was around 1 km far from the studio, I went there with my luggage, found the machine but the code provided by the management of studio doesn’t work. I found finally key at around 17h00. And walk again to enter my room. I was exhausted, If I knew that the key collection process is such complicated and long I would never reserve this lodgment. I recommend at least to mention in your web the key collection procedure. I request you to refund half of the money or compensate for my next travel. Worst experience ever. This place only had 1 review when I booked it on booking.com - and it was probably a fake review. Booked this place on Sunday (June 5, 2022) for ONE night. The rate was for $80. Come to find out hours later, that they charged $120 additional for a cleaning fee. I was pissed! I would have never booked it had I known that. The bldg mgmt emailed me a guest registration form, however, I was unable to fill it out - wouldn't work on my phone. So, because I was having issues, I emailed them my passport & my driver license info. I had to pick up the keys via a key kiosk (KeyCafe) which was almost 1/2 mile from the studio apt. I called & emailed the bldg mgmt for the code to pick up the keys. They never returned my calls or my emails. They FINALLY picked up the phone AFTER 3 pm. I picked up the keys and headed to the studio apt. The apt was located 2 flights up - not good when you have heavy luggage (or a lot of luggage). That sucked. I walk in the apt and the A/C was on high. It was FREEZING! I turned off the A/C, left the apt & returned at night - it was STILL cold!. The apt looked nothing like the pictures - it was old and not very clean. Half of the outlets didn't work in the living area. The water in the bathroom sink took forever to get hot. The water pressure was low in the shower. The toilet wasn't working (flushing). The moment I checked into this place, the bldg mgmt blew up my emails and phone re check in instructions and they did the same before I checked out. It was insane. There's no need to send 6 emails about checking in and out. Check out time was 11:00 am. I left the apt a little after 10 am the next morning. Got to the key kiosk and the code was not working, so I could not complete the check out process. I called the bldg mgmt - they refused to pick up or reply to my messages. So, I had to walk back to the apt & leave the keys there.

Location great. Well furrnished. Comfortable with display items for a home-like feel. Heated! Staff extremely pleasant amd helpful.

Cable was okay, but could be strengthend.
