Cub House is in a good location that is quiet ,peaceful and the view is awesome. We would definitely choose this cabin again for the cleanliness, the number of bathrooms and the comfortable beds. I have to use a rollator walker and the main floor layout was perfect for me. Thank you Steve W. for being such a wonderful host and for the use of your beautiful Cub House. I forgot to mention each of the bedrooms had its complete bathroom with walk-in shower which I have to have. 5 star cabin.

Our time at the Cub House was perfect in every way. It was like walking into a friends home when we arrived. Decorated throughout for the fall season in every room. Very welcoming feel. The host goes above and beyond to make it feel like home away from home. There are three king bedrooms, each spacious, clean and well stocked with everything. He even had child proof gates for the stair cases in the bedroom closets. The beds were comfortable with high end sheets, pillows and comforters. Not a spec of dust anywhere. The kitchen (even though we did not cook) was very well stocked with everything a family could need. Two coffee makers, one drip and one for pods. Even had coffee for us. Had enough paper products on hand, that we took ours back home unopened. Plenty of new dish towels, potholders and so forth. All looked brand new. I felt the description and pictures did not do this place justice, we got so much more than we ever dreamed. We will be back to the Cub House. No need to look through hundreds of listings on VRBO, because this is the perfect listing.

Great location with amazing view from both balconies.

We stayed at the Cub House for a recent family vacation. The unobstructed views from the decks are breathtaking. The three king suites were nice and that one was accessible for elderly guests. The cabin was a nice size for multiple guests. The location was good for access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the park, but far enough outside of all the activity. The time of year we were there was unfortunately is a time when many acorns were falling from trees onto the metal roof of the cabin, which did take away from the peacefulness of the location. The host was accessible and responsive. One constructive feedback I have was that the multiple laminated posting of rules, expectations, and potential consequences throughout the cabin we felt took away some of the beauty of the location.

Great getaway cabin for multiple couples. Loved that there were 3 king suites. Only negative comment that we all had was that all of towels had a soured smell. Would defiantly stay again with family and friends. Thanks for having us!

The house is was wonderful and perfect for our vacation. The layout is open and the views are breathtaking. The back deck was my favorite part, but the open windows also showed the mountains. So when it was too hot to sit outside, you could enjoy it from inside! Some things we didn’t think to bring and weren’t in the cabin were ziplock bags and paper towels. There was one roll , but we went through it quick. Just make sure you bring extra! Everything else was perfect and I didn’t want to leave.

We had an awesome time! Pool table was a hit along with the hot tub. Everything was clean when we arrived. Just a Short distance to town. We will book again at this location!

Nice cabin with spectacular view

The cabin itself was much better than advertised. It had all the accommodations for a relaxing family getaway. The communication with the host was excellent and the check-in/check-out process was hassle free. I highly recommend booking this cabin.

Having three master bedrooms with sleep space to spare was perfect. The view was spectacular from both balconies. Check in was easy and the property manager was very kind to check on us throughout. We were close to everything we needed and far enough away not to have to deal with traffic and noise. I love Applewood Farmhouse and was thrilled how easy it was to get to. We will definitely look to Cub House for our next Tennessee excursion.

The Cub House was fantastic! We had 6 adults and 2 pets. This cabin has 3 masters with baths was enough space and more for everyone. The views were amazing. Short drive to the main street if peigon forge. Highly recommend this cabin.

The cabin was perfect for three couples. The bedroom/bathroom setups are almost identical. Two on the lower level with the pool table and one on the main level. All bedrooms have a door to the deck. The views are amazing!!!

Nice 3 master suite cabin. Feels so secluded but close to all the fun things. We have traveled to the area for years, this was my favorite cabin so far!

My husband and I stayed here for a big family celebration in the Smokies to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we stayed at this wonderful cabin! The view was spectacular and it was just far enough away from Pigeon Forge for it to be nice and quiet, but not so far away that we had to drive very far to get to things. The cabin itself is just lovely and I really liked how each bedroom had its own full bathroom and tub. The cabin host was very communicative and responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was absolutely perfect. We loved that it was at the top of the hill and the view was breathtaking. Location was perfect we were still close enough to all the action, but far away enough for the peace and quiet we were looking for. The cabin had everything we needed to relax and just enjoy time together as a family. We spent the majority of our time in the cabin. My teenage son even stayed off of his devices and we spent quality time together as a family. I can't want to come back and stay. Steve was amazing with all my questions and a great host. If you are looking at this property book now, if you don't someone else will.

Great cabin! The access code is given to you a few days before arrival, making it convenient to head right to the cabin rather than having to go check in somewhere first. Beautiful views and peaceful but close enough to the city for anything you may need. The owners were great with communication and making sure our trip was great! Highly recommend!

Cabin very nice. Amazing views. Responsiveness of owner was great! Everything was in good working order. Hot tub very relaxing. The cabin is close enough to everything, yet still away from the hustle & bustle of the city. We are very happy with this cabin! Had a great time!

House was nice and secluded for privacy. 3 master bedrooms is a nice setup for multiple couples. Will be back.

We had a wonderful family mini vacation. The views were breathtaking. The cabin was ideal for the 6 of us. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances and dinnerware. Able to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars. Shot many games of pool. Professionals bring your own cue. Very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back... This was our first time in Pigeon Forge and we felt like this was a quiet location and not too far from anything. Doordash and Instacart had no issues. In about 8min we were in downtown and in all the action. The cabin had everything we needed and the only real surprise we had was it has soft water something we were not used to. The views are spectacular and the owners are so quick to respond. If you are thinking of staying here you won't be sorry.

House smelled clean upon arrival, plenty of starter materials such as toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap etc. kitchen had all necessary items. View was great. Plenty of room for my family of 5 and 2 small dogs. Great location.

For our family of 5, it was perfect. However if you need to accommodate 10 people, keep in mind that there are 3 king sized beds and a futon so you’ll need to be prepared for multiple bed partners.

Overall great stay! We loved the cabin! The host - Steve - was great to work with! The Cabin was well stocked with just about everything you need and beautifully decorated just as the pictures showed. The five bathrooms were a definite plus! Wonderful views from the back of the cabin. Only two negatives were the narrow roads to get to the cabin and the very steep and bare stairs to the lower level of the cabin. One of our small dogs took a tumble down the stairs; fortunately he landed on his side and was not hurt. We did find a gate in the closet but it wasn't put together so we purchased another one just to be safe... this isn't the host's fault by any means! I just wanted parents/pet owners to be aware of the potential danger of the stairs to their small children and pets.
