I love how small the place was for me and my partner. We both loved the place the but the only thing we didn’t like was the road to get there. It was very shallow and the road was kind of messed up but besides that, the place was lovely!

The property was nicely updated and clean. While the guest house is located next to the owners house, we didn’t mind their proximity at all. Communication was good and the owner was very respectful and responsive of our needs once we checked in. The drive to Santa Cruz was easy. The neighborhood was great for morning and evening walks. This was just what we needed.

Oz was an amazing host with plenty of suggestions on sites to see, and always so pleasant to communicate with! The cottage is nestled in the woods very close to Santa Cruz for daytime fun, and downtown Los Gatos for evening dining. The "wood" heating stove was nice to get cozy with and the loft was a lot of fun to lay down with a book, as was swinging on the tire swing (for my daughter!). We live only an hour and a half away, and this was exactly what my 12-year-old and I needed. We got a bunch of ideas from the book on the coffee table, and played each day by ear. The highlight of all the things we did was the egg vending machine at Glaum. A quirky, must-see! Thank you, Oz! We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to come back again!

The nicest family, beautiful tiny cabin in a gorgeous setting. By far the best VRBO I've ever been in. Overall, a wonder and lovely experience. It made my new work as a traveling health worker an easy transition to the Los Gatos community.

I was hoping for a quiet place in nature to relax, rejuvenate, and spend some alone time. VillaNola did not disappoint! The place was beautifully decorated, very clean, and well appointed. I really appreciate the complimentary bottle of wine and snacks too!
The cottage is located in a secluded setting with a back porch area surrounded by trees. This is where I spent most of my time, enjoying the silence and sounds of nature. I also felt very safe with Oz and his family close by.
I highly recommend VillaNola and look forward to my next visit.

This was a beautiful quiet little spot in the mountains. We really enjoyed doing day trips to the surrounding areas including Big Sur, Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Francisco.

Everything we needed for an amazing stay. Yard worked great for our pup, child loved the hammock and tire swing. Kitchen is perfect size and had everything we needed and then some. Would absolutely stay again!

Enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I loved staying at this little house in the redwoods. So quiet, clean and new. Everything we needed was available to us. The two of us were very comfortable in the space. Our adult daughter spent one night with us and she slept on the couch which she said was comfy. The space was a little tighter with the three of us adults. Communication with the owners was easy. They really care that you enjoy your stay. And the space is truly dog friendly including a small fenced in backyard!

It was a very pleasant stay and the house was exactly as shown. Got a little warm at night, so I recommend bringing a fan if its a Summer stay.
Host’s dogs are super sweet and would greet us in the morning.

The online posting is very detailed and it was spot on. Even with two boys (11 & 14), we felt we had enough space. Having a full kitchen was great for us. When we booked, the host gave us suggestions of things to do and see. We took the recommendations and had a wonderful time! We would definitely stay there again and tell others to stay there too.

Cottage in the Trees
This place is a gem!! We were looking for a nice quiet place to stay for the 4th of July and we found it!! The host was great! As we walked in there was a bottle of wine and goodies waiting for us. This cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and more. It was so relaxing to sit outback and enjoy nature. Our dogs loved it too and the secure fencing was great! We took a short drive and visited Henry Cowell State Park and then to Santa Cruz. We can’t wait to return!! Oh I forgot to mention, the dogs loved their cozy bed that was also provided. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

A quick visit with family
Everything about this stay was easy and pleasant. Check-in was easy; the stay was comfortable; clean-up was easy. I'd like to give a more detailed review, but it was as advertised and that leaves little to add. Next time we come in to town to visit family here in the mountains, we'd be happy to choose this host again.

Lovely, Quiet Retreat
This is a sweet little cabin, comfortable, well-appointed and very clean. There are thoughtful little touches, like a bottle of wine and snacks, and lots of great spices. It was wonderful to relax in the hammock after a day at the beach, or Monterey Aquarium. But, be forewarned, it's at least an hour's drive to Monterey and, because of heavy traffic on hwy 1, it took me a hour and 40" to get back "home."
Oz and family are very nice and responsive to questions.
A trip to Henry Cowell St Park and the old growth redwoods is an absolute must-see.
I recommend this for your stay.

It’s in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed happy hour on the small deck in back and grilled our dinner on the bbq both nights we were there. The Summit Store, close by, was a nice surprise too.
