Great space, with ample sleeping space. Very clean and fully stocked with amenities!

Friendly neighbors. Plenty of places to sleep. Playroom was nice, though pictures give the impression that the pool table is a regular full size pool table instead of just a tabletop size (we would have loved that! - I was envisioning tournaments at night when we got back). Main thing lacking was being able to cook for the crew. Plenty of plates, cups. Not enough silverware or pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. large enough to cook for the amount of people the house sleeps. Otherwise we had a great weekend.

perfect for a group

The owner was wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. The children loved the place. The beds were comfortable and we had way more room that we expected. We had plenty of fast food places to pick from and the grocery store was not far away. I would not hesitate to book this place again.

We enjoyed our stay while in town for the zoo! The backyard and basement were great play spaces for the kids. Check in and out were very smooth and property manager was very responsive.

Nice house

We had a large group for a wedding. We were all comfortable. A few suggestions would be to have a can opener and a kitchen towel. It wasn’t a big deal for us. We had friends coming later that brought those items. Thank you so much for sharing your property

This property was comfortable and exactly as portrayed in the listing. About 20 minutes from downtown Detroit, it’s a good value for a large group. The host was easy to communicate with through the VRBO site—very responsive and accommodated our early check-in request, which was a HUGE help for us. The neighborhood was a little rundown in parts but didn’t feel unsafe to our all-female group and was what we expected based on research into the area. You could easily fit up to 5 cars in the driveway, which is nice. And check-in/out could not have been easier. The house is clean, with a cozy kitchen/living room gathering space, small kitchen and tons of bedrooms. There’s a large deck that’s full of picnic tables, and a small yard with some playground equipment. Each bedroom has about 1.5x the number of beds it can comfortably fit, but it’s nice to not have to share and they are comfy, with clean sheets and soft blankets. As you might guess from the photos, you shouldn’t count on adults wanting to sleep on the triple bunk bed! It's a little tight. We didn’t use the basement at all. Like most short-term rentals this place has some minor quirks, but no major problems and nothing that was a surprise after reviewing the listing. If you like what you see and are OK with being a ways out of the city, I recommend staying here. It is a good value for a large group—a hard thing to find in Detroit!
