We spent a wonderful week with our 4 girls at Villa Marina. The Villa is perfectly cleaned, maintained and equipped! Maria and Yannis are perfect hosts and make everything come together. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and all the nice cake and snacks. We loved it!

Would stay here again and again! We were aware of potential road noise before we arrived. It was no issue to us and pretty sure it is reflected in the price :) We had visits from a few shield bugs and millipedes (we kept the bug screens closed during the stay but noticed a few already inside when we arrived.) This didn't bother us atall honestly but maybe something to note as it may bother some people. We loved every minute. Maria and her husband were lovely and gave us a warm welcome and goodbye. We would strongly recommend heading up the hill to visit the little village (15 minutes away at a stoll) which was beautiful and has a couple of fab restaurants with amazing food cheaper than anywhere else we ate. Definitely worth going! Garden is private and stunning and the villa is breath taking! Highly recommend. Would absolutely come back. Thankyou for an amazing stay!

The location is excellent and the villa is beautiful. The rooms are all a good size and tastefully decorated. The pool is wonderful.

Only 2 things I would improve a light over the barbecue and better internet service it was very hit or miss

Maria and Yannis are very friendly hosts, we had a trouble with our flight, being not admitted because of Covid Regulations and had to take a new flight next day. Maria has accommodated to our needs and adjusted price kindly. I m very thankful for that!!!we arrived super late and Yannis waited for us extra time. This was really exceptional and they were very hospitable! There was some basic breakfast supply upon arrival, which made it easier for us. We truly felt welcome and could relax. The swimming pool was a big hit for the kids, the garden is also nice to be around, Includes BBQ facility that we enjoyed. The villa has all necessary kitchen supply, so cooking even for big family is not a problem ( sandwich maker, coffee machine). The cleaning service took place twice while we were there and towels were exchanged. The bed and towel supply are of hotel quality. There were two bathrooms and it was comfortable for two families. The rooms are a bit small, but since we literally used them for sleeping only it was not important. The floats beach was Kalamaki, with nice tavernas attached. There is enough parking for two cars on the villa territory. We ended up driving to the beach, it may be a walking distance for some (appr 1-1,5km), but since it’s not a straight pedestrian road and on a hot day it’s too long. Every room had a conditioner and sleeping with closed windows was ok, no noise penetration. It’s well located if you are ready to travel by car. All in all I can recommend the villa and the hosts!

This is something to consider but is not a minus point!! Car traffic and cicadas do add up to some noise, but it is something that one can get used and it doesn’t disturb sleeping at night as windows don’t are double glazed.

host (very nice and helpful host Maria), pool, barbecue, olive trees and garden, parking, villas size, huge balkony, sun from east - south - west, hillside, sorroundings (butcher, supermarket, tavernas), perfect spot to discover south west side of crete, overall - we would book again!

close to mainroad of crete (highway) only 200meters away and you can hear it, even in the house, windows could be better in terms of noisecanceling.

Superb! This villa was one of the best I have stayed in for cleanliness, helpfulness and amenities from utensils to bathrobes. The pool was a great size and very clean. Maria went above and beyond to ensure our stay was covid compliant and still a leisurely experience.

Although property close to dual carriageway with car noise and dogs barking, this did not spoil our stay - barking dogs expected in Greece.
