Great location, great house!

This cabin was beautiful and big enough. The location was pretty really close to the lake and heavenly shopping and dinning center. The information provided by property management was clear and responded in a timely manner with any question I had. Check in was easy but unfortunately we weren’t allowed to do early check in therefore we had to be around town for a few hours on Friday because we weren’t allowed to check in until 3pm. The cabin was very comfortable the only downfall was the fact that it doesn’t have an AC therefore it was really warm in the house...we had to open windows :) and turn on fans even after putting heater to the lowest level possible. The beds were comfortable and very clean, the view from the patio was really nice!! There was enough dishes and kitchen supplies to make breakfast and dinner. The internet worked well and we enjoyed playing games with the ones provided. Overall, it was a great experience and so far the best cabin we had stayed at in the past ten years.

Terrific location - short walk to Heavenly Village and Stateline casinos. Just 1 block from water. Perfect for 2 families.

Walking distance to all, literally everything. House is clean, texting with Turnkey is super easy. Layout of house is cool. Check in/out is all virtual so that is super easy.

Let me be clear, I've never written nor talked to anyone this way in my life. We showed up at 5PM (check in was 3PM) and the place wasn't cleaned. I understand mistakes happen (no cleaning), but to be treated the way I was treated when trying to contact Turnkey is unacceptable, unprofessional, and quite frankly disrespectful. I called 5+ times and every time I was told a manager or a local representative would call me back, that NEVER happened so I had to call back again and again. We made beds, did laundry, took garbage out, cleaned dishes, etc. We checked out Sunday and I'm still dealing with the issue (today is Th). I spent 6+ hours during my first 24 hours on the phone with them and another 4+ since I've been home. I'm requesting some monetary compensation and the most I'm being offered is the cleaning fee.... that should be obvious! At one point they offered the cleaning fee and an "inconvenience" fee but both weren't delivered. The actual place was fine, but I'd avoid it because of Turnkey and quite frankly I'd avoid any place operated by them. By far the worst customer service experience in my life. I also tried calling Vrbo and they were no help at all, they just blamed turnkey and said they're only a "platform." Currently waiting for a local field manager to call me back, I was promised a call within 24-48 hours. Of course that hasn't happened. Do a quick google search "turnkey vacation rentals review." Unfortunately, my experience looks like the norm.

However, parts of the home are dated, especially kitchen cabinets, furniture and lighting, which need attention. There is a fee for nearby beach access- recommend this should be included in rental agreement.

We had a group of 8 (5 adults, 3 kids) for Thanksgiving weekend (Wed night until Saturday morning) - and it was fantastic!! Even got a day of snow to play in. Cabin was warm and toasty with PLENTY of room! A nice deck on both levels each with a bbq grill. The view is nice and there is alot of space around the home so it was quiet and private. The staff who helped us with reservations were attentive, prompt, and did not miss a beat on giving us updates. The amount of space and privacy is amazing. It was super clean and the downstairs kitchen was big enough for us to cook our Thanksgiving feast and fully stocked! It is nicely kept up, clean bathrooms, nice large showers and the privacy between the upstairs and downstairs was a nice feature. Great ammenities! The location was perfect, a 5min walk to the lake, a 10min walk to the main street with shopping access. We had no issues and never had to call for assistance. Thank you VRBO for the amazing service, you helped our family enjoy a wonderful holiday together and we will be sure to come back again!

The house itself was perfect for the 9 of us to stay. The beds were comfortable and having two kitchens was a plus! The only thing that was an issue was that there weren't any extra toilet paper or kitchen trash bags. We had to buy some at the store. This rental group went above and beyond though. We had left our wedding cake in the freezer and they immediately shipped it to us without hassle. We are likely to rent from them again.

THE HOUSE IS IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION, (SO CLOSE TO THE LAKE.) AGAIN THIS YEAR WE FOUND IT CLEAN, IN A GREAT LOCATION AND SO COMFORTABLE WE HATED TO LEAVE.
