We loved our stay at the Lookout loft. Very spacious and was perfect for 5 people. Reasonably priced and we loved that it was located right on Thames st close to everything and walkable to all the restaurants. The parking spaces were easy to find and a close walk from the apartment. We will be back!

This was the perfect location for our annual weekend getaway. Located in the center of Newport and within walking distance of all the city has to offer. The condo was exactly as described and met all of our expectations.

This property was perfect! The photos are spot on - the condo is spacious, bright, clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there were extra amenities throughout. The location couldn’t be better and having designated parking spaces was extremely convenient. Being on Thames there was noise at night (sound machines were provided) but we felt worth it for the location which was walking distance to cafes, restaurants, wharfs, shopping, entertainment, etc. Derek is a fabulous host, so kind and a communicative. Thanks for a great stay!

This property was amazing, looks just like the photos! Location is perfect, yes there is some noise at night but it’s manageable and worth it for the location. Unit was well equipped and comfortable. And Derek was great with quick communication when we need something. We will be back!

We stayed for a wedding and the location could not have been better. So easy to walk to get coffee in the morning and sight see around town. The condo was clean and roomy. We were very happy with our stay.

My 87 year old mother always wanted to visit Newport Rhode Island. My two sisters and I took her to see the sites. The Lookout Loft was absolutely perfect in location, comfort, cleanliness and price!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the lookout loft! It’s a prime location in Newport. We were very happy with everything from the start. Checking in was a breeze and the loft was very clean and bright! It was a little loud in the evening (we have two toddlers) but it didn’t bother them much (plus we had a sound machine!). There was so much space in the loft! The pictures are accurate!

We had a great stay here! Super clean, spacious and had all amenities. Great location to walk to restaurants, marina's and everything downtown. Easy to Uber for the nights you don't want to drive. Bonus was having a parking spot in Newport. It is not located directly in front of property - but a super short walk across the street. Easy to unload/pack up in main driveway. A little loud - owner rectified by adding noise machine . Still woke us up with many garbage/service trucks in the early morning - bring a fan or ear plugs and it will help. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean and Great location. The shades and blinds need to be better. They off such little filtering Brust you will be up everyday with the bright light that comes through and the noisy street below. The owner did say he could / would bring noise machines for the rooms ( only one was in the unit ) but we were already on the last day of our sleepless trip. Plan accordingly and bring your own high quality ear plugs, eye patches for sleep and a dolly to load your car a block away in the assigned parking. I would also bring shampoo and soaps as there wasn’t enough for several women with long hair. The unit itself is a great spot and clean. Just bring the above so you can get better. At almost $ 6,000 I paid for the rental, I am unhappy with how little I was able to sleep

The condo is very clean and updated. It’s a loud part of town so bringing something for noise would help with sleep. Rear master bedroom gets light very early so be prepared for that. Quick communication with owner on any questions you had.

What a great property! Close to the action, walkable to everything, clean, spacious, exactly as described, and the owner is so kind and communicative. We had one baby and 6 adults and the space was perfect. Derek has thought of everything for his guests. Being right on Thames, it can be a bit loud on weekend nights in peak summer, but nothing a sound machine couldn’t fix, and not loud enough to wake a sleeping baby. Overall, we loved our stay!

I booked the lookout loft for a girls weekend to celebrate my friends 50th and it was absolute perfection! The girls were so impressed and so happy with my choice. There were 5 of us and we slept very comfortably. One of us could have slept on the pullout in the family room but we decided to just share the king. So 3 had their own bed and 2 of us shared. The entire loft is update and so we’ll decorated. Also very clean which was very important to me. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were super soft. What we loved the most was the location! Once we parked the car, we never touched it again. Right in the heart of everything…we walked to shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. I personally loved that I could wake up and head to nitro cafe just a 30 second walk away. It’s also right near the water so the views in the area are gorgeous. We took full advantage of the lookout loft name and at night would lookout the front windows at everything and everyone going on outside. We had such a blast! I’d 100% stay here again and definitely recommend it to others. It’s a no-brainer place to stay.

Super clean, modern and large space comfortable for four guests. Very modern bathrooms, and super comfortable beds. The location is near many restaurants and bars, and convenient to the Newport Mansion district. We were glad we read the parking instructions clearly: the parking is not directly at the property, but rather across the street and apx. 1 block North. You need to use the parking passes located on thge kitchen island, and be sure to return them when checking out. Thankls for a great stay!

The pictures are accurate — this is a beautiful, modern, clean place. Very comfortable beds, and many nice touches. Walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. We loved it.

This property didn’t disappoint. Well decorated, very clean, and in a great location. Derek was responsive with our questions. The property had everything we needed for our stay, even beach chairs. One night, there was a bit of outside noise late from people leaving the bars and going to the pizza place across the street and one person in our group is a light sleepers so he was up until about 2 am when the noise stopped. The rest of us slept through it. But other than that, this location exceeded our expectations.
