I was extremely happy with this hotel. The room was excellent, the food was great and the Service was awesome. Please book all your tours with Mr.Abrahams, he made my stay a whole lot easier, he's the life off this hotel and I will definitely go back here because off him. Maliq was very helpful and Anieka in housekeeping was awesome. This is my new found family at Double Tree Cape Town.

My experience was good overall. Most of the staff was helpful and polite. I did notice however that they treat the white Americans a bit better than Black Americans (friendlier, chattier, engaging), not sure why. The location was definitely more urban, but I felt safe. Grocery store, gas station, a few restaurants, and the highway were all in close proximity. The room was extremely spacious and clean. If I return to Cape Town, this is where I'll likely stay.

I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years; this was my first post covid visit; I noted a general demise in the overall aesthetic and standard of appearance; the hotel looks and feels tired and old; furnishings; carpets; walls peeling/dirty paint etc; felt like a hotel in decline and therefore I reflected that in my rating

Loved the area in the urban look and feel of the neighborhood. Everything was great, but I wish that the fitness facility was bigger and cleaner.

We stayed over the long weekend for 3 nights recently. We last minute booked one of the suits on 5th floor. We enjoyed our stay and the price per night is quite reasonable. The room is very big. There is plenty of unsecured underground parking to park your car but you’d need to pay an extra R60 per night as that isn’t included in your room fees. The room is clean and everything is functional. The location is fine, it was a 10-15 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go. We had a car so we were fine with the location. The only downfall I’d say is that the cleaning lady comes ringing your doorbell then banging on your door every single day at 8.30am then proceeds to open your door when you fail to answer immediately asking to clean your room, which I don’t understand. I’ve never been to a hotel where they ask to clean your room that early in the morning. This is highly frustrating because you’re on holiday and you want to sleep in. On our second morning there she came knocking and opening the door twice and second time at around 10am. On our last day there (check out day), she came knocking and opening again at 8.30am. Not sure how this hotel functions but normally no one bothers you until check out time which was 11am. Management really needs to look into this issue and allow your guests to sleep in.

Great quiet space, should probably consider few suites for long term rentals

Important to let the guests know about load shedding and how it would affect the residents. Showering in the dark is unacceptable.

* With rolling electricity outages on daily basis, not all rooms were on emergency power: Air conditioners do not work then and windows do not open. This creates a little sauna. Hotel was not upfront with these challenges upon booking. * Hotel is situated in secluded area away from shops, restaurants and attractions. Area appeared unsafe. * Poor maintenance: We rented two rooms both had broken toilet seats, curtain had holes and basin was blocked, poor water pressure. * Staff excellent. * Breakfast mundane.

I arrived on time to watch the French debut in the World cup - but the decoder was inoperative following Load shedding - very dissapointed !

This is a great location. I was able to contact the hotel for a airport transfer and there is a travel assistance to assist with tours. Beware this association is not with the hotel. Thee is a hotel shuttle to the waterfront, be sure to use it. Overall, great experience!!! 4.5 stars. I did not give 5 as no one is perfect.

The surrounding area is becoming more run down since I was here 5 years or so ago.

V good stay. Location is nice and breakfast is really v good. We are pure vegetarian and still had decent options for breakfast here. Overall I liked the stay.

I wanted to stay around that location which has always been considered edgy and rundown. But there's a lot of new development and interesting ventures and it worked well for me. The hotel us also a quirky muxed use lication but tge service was good and friendly

Good location near my sister. Modern, new and clean.

Very friendly staff and good sized room.Reliable minibus shuttle to Waterfront, although only a late afternoon (5.30pm) return at weekends.Very good travel desk. Safe area but nothing to really see or do in hotel vicinity. Would have appreciated computer/printer access to print boarding card, but reception did this.Good value for money.

Had arranged transport to airport for 5:30 am day of departure. Transport never arrived after waiting 30 minutes. Front desk member called them and still no arrival I believe he finally called us a cab so we could make it to the airport on time.

Room and amnesties were amazing but the staff particularly during dinner were awful, we had the incorrect orders placed and charged incorrectly several times for food. Management did it notify us about the Load shedding issues in SA and tried to act as though it’s the norm. I expected better communication from Hilton as this was very very poor. Definitely won’t be going back here for that reason alone.
