Not bad place to stay ever night

Great front desk service. Very convenient location and best of all, free bagels and donuts in the morning!

Hotel was perfect for what we needed! Small but comfortable. Everything seemed fresh and recently refurbished! Only downside was the air-conditioner was too small for the room. During the day we couldn’t cool the room down to a comfortable temp but was decent at night when it cooled down.

We stay here all the time and love it! Nothing fancy, but it’s cozy, clean, affordable and a short walk to the beach! We love it every time.

Warning this place is so unprofessional and disgusting. Upon arrival they demanded a $175 deposit even though the room was booked and paid for in advance on a 3rd party travel site. When I told him that I did not have $175 as I was unprepared for that expense he replied with “how much you got?”. In the end they kept $125 for a deep cleaning fee for cat hair left on a blue blanket (this must have transferred from my daughters blanket she brought in from home). Management has not returned my multiple calls to them regarding this issue they will only respond through the crackhead working the front desk. The property itself is disgusting. They did not provide towels, soap, shampoo…nothing. I had to go down and ask for towels. The stairs are unsafe for even a young healthy individual. My daughter woke up with a large insect bite. I paid to sleep and shower in absolute filth and they are charging me for cat hair left on a blanket. I also believe they have families with young children who live there and play outside out front all day. The vending machine out front offered water/soda for $5 each. This stay ruined our annual trip to the beach.

This place is disgusting! Staines on the sheets, the bath room was not clean enough. The room and the whole inn is in extremly bad condition. Like a horror movie. The people who work there was nice.

The room was fine and the staff were great however the was no parking and street parking was difficult to find. Considering it was $300 a night I thought it wood be nicer.

Hotel is clean and well run and half a block from the beach. Free coffee and tea offered. Staff are very pleasant knowledgeable about town restaurants and shops. Beach chair rental for 10 dollars is helpful now that beach concession has left the town.

This is an old building, but the room was spacious and good for a place to sleep.

I wanted that non traditional motel experience to stay at a beach house within walking distance to the beach. My room on the 3rd floor was clean, quiet, private bathroom with shower and appears to recently have had new carpeting & paint done. Comfy bed was a plus! I wasn't expecting that so I felt well rested lol Complimentary coffee was available in the morning in the lobby which was a huge plus and a nice porch to enjoy it on. All interactions with staff was always pleasant. I would stay here again.

Very close to beach! Would stay again. Older hotel but was very clean and they had awesome bagels and donuts for breakfast. Parking is free but sometimes you have to park two blocks away, and there is not an elevator. Also keep in mind you can't get on the beach unless you pre-pay with a credit card, which we were not aware of.

Hard to find parking

great location but zero convenience when it comes to the inn. no elevator, nobody offering to help with the luggage, no comforter on the beds, the mini fridge blocks the space of the desk and mirror which could easily be underneath the desk at least. outlets are too high up without a counter to charge anything. the shower took 20 minutes to heat up, and so on.

The price was reasonable and the location to the beach.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Small room, cheap paint, bad carpeting, no decor, uncomfortable bed- I couldn’t sleep, one narrow sraiecase, no electric outlets. Just all around bad.

Nice staff clean room

The Belmar Inn was absolutely perfect for my little 2-night "Momcation". The room was very modest, but perfect for just me and I no issues whatsoever. It's a very short walk to the beach and the boardwalk and a cute building.

Is in good area

Good staff, clean, if you don’t need a lot it’s perfect. We stayed for one to attend a wedding and it was great!

The location is great but absolutely no parking. They have signs to please excuse their upgrading but nothing is getting done. Very thin towels, washclothes, sheets, blanket and pillows. Very low water pressure too

Floors are slanted, so that was an uncomfortable way to sleep. Only one pillow was provided each, so it would have been nice to have another. Very no frills attached place. There are a lot of little things that could be done to make this place way better (adding conditioner/body wash, extra bedding), but it did the trick for a quick weekend stay. very affordable, but overpriced for what you get. Breakfast on the weekends is a very nice added touch

If you’re able to climb steep stairs and willing to be patient parking on the street, it is a clean lovely old Inn with a fantastic front porch and only 5 houses from the beach!

they are redoing it . It no longer has a bar on the first floor very quiet

Our room was freshly painted, bathroom was clean, AC was working great. We came for 2 nights during HEAT WAVE and this hotel was absolutely amazing. 3 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to Main Street with all restaurants. Only one little thing: rooms have no closet and bathroom could use some hooks on a wall.

Very old and smelly, room was warm with just 1 window air.

Room was smaller than depicted. I barely got in the shower. Sheets weren’t the cleanest. Staff wasn’t friendly

This property is super close to the beach and very convenient. It is older but looks like they’re doing renovations. My room was clean. However, I was right next to the stairs and could hear people walking up and down and slamming doors all night. Overall, I think it’s good for the price.
