Been staying at this hotel for a number of years and it has gradually deteriorated.. nothing works plug sockets with loose wiring kept tripping electric .. no refreshment in mini fridge had to ask 3 time for it to be filled .. room was not clean .. laundry request to be hung came back folded .. breakfast service poor .. 1 toaster and wasn’t working .. pool out of order … spa air con broken .. very poor standard only positive is location to work will not be visiting again

The main issue was my reservation. I had to be on telephone for 2 hours to resolve the issue. The Hotel never received the reservation message from hotels.com I have paid hotels.com yet, this was not recorded. I paid again. Please refund.

the gym is a joke its very very old , the hotel doesnt start operating until 7.00am so if u want to workout early morning you cant, breakfast is again by 7.00 if you ask the breakfast guys to give you a bottle of water they say it will be chargeable , location is only thing going for this hotel and the staff is good

Friendly staff. Clean rooms excellent room service. Great spa. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Quite and comfortable beds large room tastefully decorated. Will come back again

Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.

The stay was lovely except that my room did not have hot water. Because I was staying for 1 night only, I didn’t have time to request this to be fixed.

The property advertises amenties such as jacuzzi which was not working, the pool is unsafe needs to be retiled and adding antislip mats

Overall a pretty nice hotel. WiFi was absolutely terrible, wouldn't stay connected long enough to send an email.

The room allotted was not locking and had called twice to the reception for it to be checked. finally was given another room which was a smoking room

In general, the best hotel in the area. Especially staffs are very kind. Foods are good. Facilities in the hotel are very clean. It can be a bit costy but it is worth paying it.

The property was not well
Maintained. The charges are like a 5star but property is like a local hotel. Water in the bath was muddy, despite calling a few times problem was not resolved until next day. Breakfast was very poor, idlis were like stone, cold and sour - way below par for Coimbatore !

They are severely understaffed, particularly at the front desk. It takes 3 or 4 reminders to get things done that is only if they pick your call. Food is ok, amenities and goodies provided are good. Room was spacious, but there were lots of dust which was not cleaned. Rest of the staffs like the security guys and buffet hall people were very good and eager to help. Special mention about one Mr. Shankar from main entrance security Team went out of his way to make sure that we know the city well and how to go around the city.

Rooms were not very clean. Like many hotels, rooms are only superficially clean. Would be nice if hotels actually deep cleaned the rooms between guests.
There is a guy at the pool that "cleans" the pool all day long. Except he is not really doing anything. All day, every day he is using the mesh to swish the water around, but not really doing anything. 1) the pool should be cleaned early morning or late night when guests are not there. To have him clean all day and the pool tools laying around the pool is not a good guest experience. 2) the hotel should be training this employee better. He is standing out in the hot sun for 5-7 hours a day doing nothing except pretending to clean the pool. Why not help him clean the pool quickly once per day early in the morning and then focus on other tasks such as removing all the trash that is in the bushes by the pool.
Hotel is very noisy. All day and night you can hear the elevators go up and down from your hotel room. You can also hear your neighbors.
Hotel allows smoking and does not separate smoking rooms from non-smoking rooms. Even if you are in non-smoking rooms, you can smell smoke all day long. It is 2022 - le meridien should not allow smoking at all inside the building or by the pool area.

The furniture need to be upgraded. The breakfast range is awesome. The dinner buffet was a well thought out layout. Overall it was a good experience

The guy at the reception insisted I had not paid for the room. I showed him I had been debited by my card, but he still insisted. Finally, when he gave the the key card, I realised he had the wrong name on the record. I think he was a trainee

The worst property of Le Meridien i have ever seen, i stayed at Vivanta in coimbatore before and due to some bad experience i have decided to go for Le Meridien but this is not even worth to pay 1000 Rs. Room sizes are nice but it took 2 hrs to cool the room. Tik tik sound until 3am in the morning. I could not sleep until 3:00am due to this noise. i dont know why this property has 9.3 rating on Hotels.com.

Le Meridien does not offer 5 star hotel series. I visited your Spa. They told me I have to makan appointment as customers who are not guest of the hotel have already booked spa treatment session. I was shocked. Why no first preference for hotel guests. Also the spa therapists I am told will only arrive at 11.00 a.m. Shouldn't the service times be observed. You only have 2 therapists. This is below the service standard for a 5 star hotel. I hardly notice many lady customer service staff. More lady staff should be hired. No point in having a hotel pool side premises cleaning lady attired in sparkling scree when it only makes it cumbersome for her to carry out the job. All in all, fa little common sense in programming and planning and service deliveries is applied by the Board the problem will be solved. This is not the first time I stayed at Le Meerdien. I am afraid my current experience is worst from the last visit. I am not minded to return. Please upgrade your service standards. Appoint a neutral inspector/assesser to point out your drawbacks and please hire a foreign international assessor for the same and not some one who resides in Coimbatore. It won't work. Also the quality of the English of the all the staff can be nurtured. Send them for training in British Council classes. You will see the different. Tamil is good for temples and temple worship it is not yet a widely used language although it is a beautiful language and full of rich colour style and tradition.

Awesome place to spend time with family. Awesome luxury rooms, very good breakfast, swimming pool and other facilities. Swimming pool is big, but not even 4 feet .. probably only 3 1/2 feet or so, it could be a little deep for more enjoyment even for my 11 year son. But overall, very nice place if you want to spend time with family and just enjoy.
