Good value for the money. Beds were super comfy! Clean and comfortable room with nice shower amenities. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and tasty.

Positive - Hotel was clean, beds were comfy and it was easy on/off I-80.
Negative - There was only one person working the breakfast area. Breakfast items were not kept full. Sunday morning at 7:30, no regular coffee (only de-caf), no eggs, very little sausage links, no gravy for the biscuits and the pancake mix was out. Thank goodness there is a Kwik Star across the street.

We got charged a 130 dollars manager couldn’t tell us why. Then when we proceeded to check out he told us we were charged 100 dollars for a cleaning fee. He said it was from cake on the floor we never even had a cake. So I’m going to get in contact with the GM. I am a loyal member to holiday inn. I will not be anymore.

Beds were comfy, room was very clean. Only downfall was the temperature was difficult to control. Will stay again

It was wonderful. The breakfast was unbelievably wonderful. The room was great, had soap dispensers instead of slimy bar soap. Was very well maintained and staff was wonderful.

Property wise other than a bit dated, everything was clean. TV took forever to get started, waiting on DirecTV service to boot. Couldn’t figure out why. Breakfast was a little frustrating. No milk, no additional sausage for them to cook and what was in the pan looked shriveled, biscuits hard but gravy was good. Pancakes and cinnamon rolls good.

Check-in was quick and easy. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd stay in recent years. Maintenance appears to be lacking. Our fridge didn't work - luckily the staff put our "to go" boxes in the on-site cooler. The shower faucet handle was not secure and seemed to spin, making it difficult to regulate the water temp. Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working. Not a bad stay, just seemed like a lot of little inconveniences.

I called the hotel on our way to see if we could get an early check in., not only were they able to accommodate us, but Christy had also looked up my rewards number for me without even asking and added it on to the stay.

This hotel was easy to get to. It had friendly staff who was welcoming. The breakfast was acceptable. However, it seemed to need an update. The bathroom was in need to a remodel. The wallpaper was coming off the wall; it looked dated.

My children and I have stayed there for the last three years during the Mississippi Valley Fair. It is easy to get to from Dixon and convenient to get to the fairgrounds.

Carpet was in need of a serious cleaning. Found a couple of bugs on my luggage that had been sitting on the carpet. Front desk staff was very nice.

Pan handlers would t leave us Alone and went right up to my 14 year car window. We checked in and out within 15 minutes and staff said (u are safe here just don’t go across the street. She assured me that they (tell them to leave the property etc. but this person didn’t leave. Did t feel safe with my children so we checked in and out within 15 minutes and went to a different and safer hotel

The staff did a great job, our first room the shower was broken, so they moved us to a different room due to no maintenance personnel, the second room the bathroom fan did not work, breakfast was not the best, and they did not replace empty trays very quickly.

Bathrooms had trash left on the floor. Sheets didn't look like they were changed, wrinked. Carpet had peckles and taco bell hot sauce wrappers - didn't look like vaccumed in a long time.

The beds are amazing. The air conditioner works excellent. Many trips I've taken recently the air conditioner has been horrendous. I was very surprised! The front desk associate was friendly and accommodating.

The place looks very old and everything looks like it's falling apart. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are horrible. The breakfast was subpar for IHG. The staff only cleans the room after you check out. It would have been nice to have fresh towels and garbage taken out each day. For the price of stay it was very disappointing
The chair in the room was peeling, the black out curtains had disgusting brown stains all over it and it had a musty smell.

No one ever at the front desk, phone is off the hook, locked outside in the pool area because they changed locks and wouldn't give us a new key. No towels had to walk inside wet and use old towels to shower. Construction all over the hotel, rocks hitting our window and materials in the middle of the lobby that we tripped over multiple times, toilets barely flushed.

Building is probably old and needs to be renovated, bathroom wall paper was pealing off, room did have a non pleasant smell and bed pillows gave the impression that they have been used by a person

Room wasn't cleaned yet all of our towels were removed...front desk said I needed to request room cleaning. Magnetic key only worked the very first time after check-in. It never worked after that and twice failed after it was re-programmed...had to get the security guard to let us in one night.
