Good points and bad points A nice modern refurbished hotel. Pleasant staff and a keenness regarding customer care. Food and drink of reasonable standard although buffet arrangements limited choice and inconvenient serving when busy. Rooms while quaint are in my opinion to rustic and don’t offer great space nor view despite being upgraded. Setting of roof top bar is good but service at times very slow. Main pool too cramped. Surrounding public beach is busy with locals and across road, prone to noise and cars/music. Equally nightly cabaret does have local musicians and can become more non residents than residents depending on band popularity. Nice touch of towels/beach mats/cool box to get filled with drinks. Equally you get a daily credit which you can use for excursions etc we chose boat trip. Secure limited parking at rear of hotel. We’d suggest get out and about and lovely beaches down toward Bel Ombre and even Flic & Flac beach by bus service is an option. Locally limited eating places and bar. Spa we didn’t use as way overpriced even given voucher discount, there is a place beside main junction in/opposite church will do nails/massages by appointment and great value (at least half the price) so while Veranda Tamarin has good attributes the location , quality of room size and limited pool means I’ll look elsewhere if returning.

Fairly good hotel, not top luxury but good for 3 star hotel. Pool areas were quiet until mid afternoon. Avoid returning to park at sunset on a weekend as very busy with locals who may be in the hotel reserved spaces. Good location to explore nearby sites

Location near the Tamarin Bay with great opportunities for activities. We can warmly recommend “the early morning dolphins with kayak tour”, really enjoyable to come so close to these amazing animals. Love the “credit point program” from Veranda Tamarin, where each nigh gives you credit points to use for different activities. Selection of breakfast very good. Dinner, buffet style, was ok. Room clean with a nice balcony. Pool area well maintained with several sun beds. The staff was really helpful with Mr Girish in the lead. He was super professional, solution orientated with a great service mindset when he arranged a room solution for our family. We can recommend Veranda Tamarin hotel for families (2 adults, 2 children 12 & 10 years)

Nice location right opposite the beach (not a great swimming spot due to strong currents) with loads of parking. Easy check in process with friendly staff throughout our stay. Breakfast selection was very good. The dinner we had, a buffet style on arriving late left a little to be desired.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel: good food, friendly staff, place well maintained and clean. This only aspect which be improved is the entertainment, more local sega dances would have been nice

We extended our stay here after a wonderful first few days. Easy, comfortable and great weekend vibes from the beach to the Cray fish restaurant.

Trips organised cost 40% more than outside. Supervisor(Indian) in dining is rude and is not fit for his job.

Great place, very much cared for the comfort of guests here, super helpful staff. Very delicious food at breakfast and in restaurant. Rooms very clean and cosy. Perfect place to relax! a super pool on the roof, very atmospheric place where you can forget everything!!! Great experience to be here, I have never met such moments!

We had excellent stay at the Veranda Tamarin, staff was super friendly helped us with everything we needed . We were able to check in early (we got to the hotel at 9am after our 12g fly) and we’re even offered breakfast which was super nice ! Super cute beach baskets with towels, mats and cooler box to take with you. Lovely roof top pool with nice view, Greta location to local sites, we also booked a sunset hike which was run by two local ladies and it was amazing. Nice food and drinks too. Very nice boutique hotel with cute interior, comfy beds , clean and tidy . Amazing sunset at the beach in front

We stayed at Veranda Tamarin for 7 nights. Experience was delightful. Staff here is very humble, friendly and helpful. Property is very well maintained. It’s a cozy place to relax and enjoy a perfect vacation.

Beautiful place with exceptional staff. Christophe and his well run team ensured we had the perfect holiday. Had a day in the Mini Moke and a cruise on the Catamaran which were also wonderful experiences. Thank you Kajal. Well done Veranda Tamarin x

Great value with amazing food of high quality. Nice staff, and an overall good vibe

While the hotel is average and is relatively expected for this price, the location is definitely not great. The beach in front is far from the hopes all coming tourists would have. The surrounding neighborhood is not very much touristic. The unpleasant part were the improvised loud music parties that are happening often in the complex. Car with loud music comes in the afternoon, starting a weird kind of entertainment and they don't stop until 3am. Things get out of control and one of the "parties" included beating a policeman, eho tried to calm down the noise....not recommended place Sorry.

My family and I had a beautiful 2 day stay where we saw 2022 in. New Years arrangement was very organised, Jeremy and staff were accommodating to our kids needs, amazing fire works display on the beach!! Definitely would recommend!!

The location is right in front of the beach for those that want to take advantage of the beach and Tamarin town is not that far driving distance for restaurants, shops, and groceries stores. Had a fantastic time. Kids loved surfing. The hotel has a fun atmosphere and the bar has a lovely vibe. F&B prices are Very fair. We’ve already booked to return!

All staff had smiles on their faces and were more than happy to assist.

We stayed for two weeks and think we could have been offered some incentives to use spa water sports etc. We Used boat house for hiring bicycles and catamaran trip, should have better prices for hotel guests

Awesome hotel with excellent facilities and service. They even have turn down service. Good breakfast and restaurant on site. Staff very professional. I felt like hotel is underrated I would personally give it 4+ stars.
