Check in was a nightmare. Food was good. Pool water was cloudy. Staff was very friendly.

Loved the property in general, however: 1.the soap dispensers in restrooms are often empty. The hand dryers don't work. 2. The restaurant uses the same place mats, over and over again. They do not clean them between customer uses. They simply brush them off and place them again for the next person. Virtually, hundreds of people eat off the same dirty, germy place mats, repeatedly. I found this very disgusting.

I paid for 2 rooms this 1/19/2024 thru 1/22/2024 my room was 206 and had no issues as it was good,however i also paid for a room for my daughter which her room was115 and the room had no tv or working electrical outlets.We asked if someone was coming to fix it but it never happened.

The total is all inclusive Food was good looks to choose from drinks all you can drink pools are nice and clean really close to the beach ( love the sunsets at the beach ) really friendly staff The only problem my washroom smell bad more in the morning talk to the front desk but nothing was done that was the only negative part of the hotel

Great property , we had a quick family break in a small but well maintained property with great food and amazing service , if your wish a family scape close to San Jose this is your place

The food for dinner and breakfast was good and included. The drinks were unlimited. The beach was right outside.

This Best Western resort was spectacular! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, The food was fantastic with many choices and I only have great things to say! Thank you for making our trip so amazing! Highly recommend the beautiful sunsets and awesome pools.

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I did not like was that the air conditioner was not cooling enough, it was only working as a fan.

Friendly place. Beach was awesome. Would be nice to have a fridge and an iron in the room though.

First time at an ALL Inclusive ~~~~ It was an experience, for sure, and of course, we made the best of it all. The hotel, staff, and all involved with that, was real nice and did their best and were helpful, with everything. For us, it was just very different, but there's a "first" for everything !!! We'll give it a try- another time - someplace else, some day!!! Thank's......

Property is clean and Chef was great and he even accommodated our request for special vegetarian food.

This by far was one of the better Best Western Properties I have ever stayed at. The staff are very attentive and amazing. Breakfast and dinner was satisfying. Will definitely returned on my next visit

I have enjoyed going to the BW Jaco for decades when the kids were smaller. It was our go to all inclusive hotel for yrs. This time however though it is still a very good hotel, the snack bar choices should be varied a bit more. The hotdog buns were soggy and wet the hotdogs cold. The entire time there the only choices were hotdogs, dry/old looking hamburgers, old looking dry pizza, fries/onion rings and nachos. Yrs ago at least there was a choice of wings or bbq rib cutlets (on different days, not daily) along with maybe chilibeans (for the hotdogs or fries), Also maybe put some lemon wedges out (for the vegetables/salad) and salt/pepper shakers on the tables would help. Since I had to ask the bartender (who was busy) for these as per the snack lady since she would't give me any condiments. Also just as a suggestion, the bar at The Mulle bar could use a 2nd bartender on busy days. The 1st 2 days there he was so busy and looked overwhelmed with the lines of people with just one guy to take orders from the guest. And also the poor security personal that watches the entrance on the beach side should have a high chair to sit on. It was so hot during mid-afternoon and with them fully dressed, it seemed kinda cruel to have them stand for hrs on end. I would like to give a "shout out to Daniel" he was a server at the upstairs restaurant. He is so nice and attentive. Great asset to your team there. I would still go back one day most likely with my grandson.

Check in is at 3pm late … checkout is at 12 pm with the option to have lunch . The food was tasty good . The beds are hard . The trims are clean . They could do better with better liquior quality. Overall the pool was clean , the food was good for the price

Food was good - drinks were good - staff was nice Rooms are very basic. Some staff didn’t speak English so we relied on our broken Spanish.

The staff was great. The property was great. The rooms were outdated. We tried to call for a couple of weeks to find out weather we could have visitors and the hotel never answered the phone. If we would have known that we could not we would have canceled. The food was sub-par.

For a night's stay in an all inclusive it was good. The food was tasty and the drinks flowed very well. The main pool is nice and the hotel area is good overall. The first room they gave us was wet everywhere, the sheets pillows beds surfaces and floors. We complained and a new room was allocated which was fine. You may get very bored with the food if you stay a longer time but eas fine for 1 night. The food quality wasn't great but acceptable. Parking was easy and plentiful.Aircon was quiet and effective. The beds were good and comfortable.

Good price for what was received. The beds are comfortable, the food good (not extraordinary), the drinks good, and the facilities, especially the pools, very clean and convenient.

The beds were just "okay" and the food was not great. The staff was very friendly. Nice to have a desk for tours on site. The cleaning staff missed service one day.

It´s accessibility friendly, staff is very friendly, kind, caring and nice. Clean rooms, clean hotel. Quiet (we stayed during the week in the month of June). The food was alright, Loved breakfast items (fruit, gallopinto, platano maduro) - Wifi service needs booster was not good all around the hotel. Other than that, I would go back to this property.

The Best Western needs to up their game. We stayed at a number of hotels on our trip that were fabulous and this was NOT one of them. Clean yes, but so minimal and amenities were bare minimum. Very unimpressive and not somewhere we will stay again in any country except the US.

This was our 6th stay at this location and the menu had been OK, however this time the food was VERY disappointing! Tasteless and blah!!
