Non working elevator made for long hikes through hotel

We’ve stayed at this property many times over the years. Some small, but obvious changes since we were here as recently as last month. •now pay to park. There is nothing else in the area and no reason to park in the hotel lot unless you are a guest or employee. •no longer has complimentary bottled water in the room. (And nowhere within walking distance to buy any). •no longer a note pad and pen in the room (only noticed as I needed both) •we travel with a dog. The garden areas are filled with dog crap. Nobody (including dog owners) seems to clean up. We brought this to the attention of the front desk. The response was “it’s our policy that people are supposed to pick up after their pet). Upon check out, we witnessed grounds keepers literally working around the dog crap. •for the second time in a row, the hot tub and pool were closed for maintenance. While arguably small points, they collectively reduced our enjoyment of staying. We understand costs are on the rise. If you need to charge more to maintain levels of service, then charge more. Don’t nickle and dime us. We’ve been coming to this property for 15 years or more. Looks like it’s time to consider other options.

Customer service was terrible. At check in the front desk clerk was rude and condescending. I asked for help with directions to a store and was asked “You don’t have google?” Well I was travelling internationally and didn’t have data roaming. On check out I was treated like someone who was causing the staff major grief. I was so disappointed as I have stayed at this hotel many times.

We had an unplanned stay at this hotel because a sewage pipe broke under our house and we needed to vacate so it could be fixed. I picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool for my 3-year-old and a kitchenette so we could easily wash my baby's bottles. The free breakfast was much better than a continental breakfast. There were eggs, meat, and potatoes available every day. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and sympathetic to our situation. Especially Jenny. We were disappointed because my son didn't get to swim for a couple days and we came downstairs on our last day to find out that the hotel was going to begin renovations on the pool that day. I told Jenny that my son had really been looking forward to swimming. Then a couple hours later, Jenny went out of her way to let me know that the renovations were postponed and my son could go swimming one last time before we left. For being a pet friendly hotel, I thought it was very clean and quiet. I like that the floors are vinyl and not carpeted. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and friendly staff.

Staff was so helpful and kind. We reserved 2 rooms so we could spend some extra time with our grandkids--who greatly enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

I checked into a king deluxe suite on Friday 12 Jan 2024 and I was checking out 16 Jan 2024 and I needed space due to myself having PTSD from overseas. On my very first day I went for a swim around 11pm and upon getting back to my room I tried to take a shower and ran the water for 30 mins COLD. I went down cold still wet from the pool to tell them. They moved me to a smaller room that had a tub shower and this room was not what I paid for. That room was giving me triggers. The next morning I moved back to room 141. The original room I had. I complained and told them I stay locally and if there’s any way I can get the night back for the room I paid for and the manager told me she couldn’t do it. But I can get 25% off which was $108. I felt like they should have done right and just comp’d me a night for the room I had but couldn’t stay in the first night. I don’t want to pay extra money for something like that. That put a nasty taste in my mouth. And it sucks leaving this review. I just wanted the night I paid for in the room I paid for. This hotel is so close to my job I tried it out because every few months I have to get away from my family and people to clear my head and I needed a safe place. And the first night I wasn’t provided that. I loved my room and I felt like this could be my new place I stay when I get triggers, guess not. 600 bucks for 4 days the money wasn’t and option. Customer service and making wrongs right would have been the best thing. I fought for this
