Lovely decor! Price is a bit too high for the size of the room and the bathroom sink could be bit more modern along with proper ventilation and bigger sized TV but overall it was comfortable.
Great cleaning from the housekeepers!!! They deserve a pay raise! Kudos to all of them!!

Great atmosphere, great location. I loved having the courtyards and sitting rooms to sit in. The low water pressure and bath probably provided a true english experience but it was a little challenging for someone used to a straightforward shower. I'd stay again.

The Rookery is an old beautiful hotel. The interior was lovely! After staying at three previous places in England, we were surprised that breakfast was not included in the high prices and also each item of water or tea, etc was also an itemized charge.
The location was a little loud at night with the neighborhood bu8t seemed safe.

A travel in time. An "Edwardian" / "Victorian" boutique hotel with fantastic staff (and cat). In-Room breakfast at a very reasonable price. Honesty (gin) bar is available 24/7. Every room is unique with a lovely interior. Beware of low height of ceiling on upper floors...

Beautiful property and great staff. No tea or coffee in rooms and my neighbour snored like an elephant all night and it was like he was in my room. He then got up super early and was very loud and inconsiderate.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Rookery while we were in London. Our room was adorable and the bathroom was great too. It was close to the "Tube" and an easy Uber/Bolt ride to just about everything. So glad we decided to stay here. The staff and house cat were great!!!!

We stayed in the Rook’s Nest suite which was amazing! The hotel had a wonderful selection of gins and a fabulous in room breakfast. The hotel cat was an added bonus.

My partner and I were only able to stay one night here, but we both enjoyed our stay very much. The room was beautful and unique, as is the whole hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I very much enjoyed the tea service. I would love to stay again if I get the chance.

My wife and I stayed at the rookery for the first part of our honeymoon. It was honestly the most lovely hotel we'd ever been to. The service was exceptional, the property was gorgeous, and the location was super convenient. We couldn't recommend it enough, especially for couples.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed in. The details in the room but also the shared common spaces were exceptional. There is a great selection of gin, wine, as well as books and several areas to enjoy them in. We flew out of Gatwick and the train to the airport is about a block away from the hotel- we will be staying here every time we come in and out of London from now on!

Really enjoyed my stay at The Rookery Hotel, the room was quaint with old fashioned tub for soaking, we loved making our own drinks downstairs in 2 separate areas and sitting outside in the garden to drink them. There was a man from Turkey (sorry forgot his name) that worked the front desk and he was very lovely. The area was a good location, good for transportation and walking. The only issue is they were doing interviews and closed a couple of the sitting rooms while we were there and we felt like we were in the way, when we wanted to sit there but other than that all was perfect!

FABULOUS old place. The staff was helpful and hospitable, the place is beyond charming, and Bagheera the library cat is an excellent host.

The Rookery had to be one of the best and most unique hotel experiences I've had. The antique furniture is beautifully chosen and arranged, but it is also very functional. It feels like getting to live for a short time in a Georgian fantasy.

Just a one night business stay. Stunning interiors and very comfortable. Wonderful friendly staff. Close to tube/train station and loads of bars/restaurants. Only caveat - there are no lifts, not a problem for myself but it could be for others.

Loved this hotel! Very quirky! The staff were outstanding - really friendly and helpful. Our room was opulent - 4 Poster bed and antique furniture and very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend The Rookery for a stay!

We have stayed at The Rookery several times now. We love the ambiance, the furnishings, the honesty bar, and the common areas. It is such an unusual but warm and inviting place. The staff are top notch and went out of their way to meet our needs and assist us in our plans. The tea tray delivered to our room was absolutely delightful and the breakfasts were wonderful. And who doesn't love a hotel with a cat!?!

It was a long held wish to stay at The Rookery, and it totally exceeded my expectations. Really friendly staff gave me a very warm welcome. It's a very relaxed, informal vibe. The residents spaces are gorgeous - tasteful, ecclectic and comfortable. There's an honesty bar and a lovely outdoor area. Our room was beautiful, romantic and cocooning. The bathroom was spacious with a big claw footed bath. Breakfast is served to your room; I had fruit and granola and my husband had piccant mushrooms on toast. Fresh orange juice and good coffee. I couldn't falt The Rookery and would love to stay here again.

This quirky and charming hotel has loads of character and comfort. The staff are awesome-hospitable, helpful and responsive. We have stayed there before and will stay there again. Comfortable bed and an incredible bathtub. The Rookery is a gem.
