We booked a smoking apartment only to be told we cannot smoke in the apartment, yet there is ashtray provided. On our arrival the duvet covers had yellowish color stains and when we asked for it to be changed we where told it only gets washed on a Tuesday. We checked in on Thursday. The sofas where old very old and torn. The tin opener was blunt and could open a can, that also was an issue to have it replaced. There was no hand or dish towels provided. Bath towels where never washed and we where forced to use them for 2 days. When we requested new towels we where told there where no towels available and they will wash the towels and have them replaced in 2 hours. Extremely horrible service and would not recommend anyone to stay at this apartment.

The place I booked online was totally different to the pictures advertised. That is very disappointing and false advertising.

The rooms were comfortable, but the sofa needed to be updated. Perfect if traveling in a large group. The pool area is lovely. There is no grocery store in walking distance:( but there is a McDonald's around the corner.

One of the bathroom had mold on the ceiling which was a bit disturbing. If we were staying for longer time, I would have requested to change the apartment.

We took a 2 bed apartment. It was really spacious with a lovely kitchen and dining room and really phenomenal views of the city. We slept in the queen room, the door did not close. Also when I took a bath the groat came off into my bath. Also there is no clear signage where the check in is, so eventually had to ask. Free internet was brilliant, all the amenities you could hope for, the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again!

Happy with our stay Was good value for money

The apartment was clean, comfortable and highly secured. Guest have to use their fingerprint to access entry and when leaving the premise. It is in a nice location 10 minutes to Stanton City and 30 minutes to Johannesburg Airport. Good WiFi, a pool with a large area to lounge and relax and a fitness room with exercise equipment. I would definitely stay there again.

Location and units are ideal for family stays, well equipped. However Housekeeping and Maintenance service requires improvement.

The place is great, it has a lovely pool area. The Wifi however did not work the whole time we were there.

Ideal for family. Well organized set up. Security is top notch and reassuring. The rooms were a bit stuffy and had some queer odour. The profile on Expedia also didn't clearly state the standard rooms have 2 separate bedrooms. We ended up paying for 2 rooms yet one could have sufficed for both of us. Management should consider having restaurant within premises for quests who may not be in position to cook

Property was in a great location and very secure. Great for families and room to spread out. We loved being able to do laundry and breakfasts at home. Also cleaners cleaned each day and did laundry not done. I highly recommend.

It was okay. I think the bathrooms require renovations. They are weirdly structured and too narrow. Shower seemed abit drab with mouldy stuff not properly cleaned in the shower. We came for a wedding and there was not a single full length mirror in the entire apartment. The one mirror in the bathroom had poor lighting. No pin point outlets. Had to straighten my hair in the lounge. Overall it was ok.

Great Place To Stay, Always Stay There When In Johannesburg

The building has narrow, open walkways to the rooms - these walkways are like never ending balcony's. I would not recommend this place to anyone that has small children or anyone that is afraid of heights. The sink in the kitchen had terrible leaks throughout it's piping, which would flood the kitchen cupboard underneath it each time you washed dishes. They assured us that it would be fixed, but only after the weekend... never got done. The area is also quite run down and not great to go out after dark.

Rooms seemed not ready but it was quickly rectified.

Picked this hotel for its proximity to the Sandton shopping area and the full kitchen. The location is very good as were all the staff, very helpful in every way we needed. The two-room suite was clean and fully equipped, however I would say seems a mix of dated and mismatched items. The floor has white tiles, however they are no longer white (sort of dirty grey) and not a good pick for any hotel. The furniture items are also oversized for a small space - better with scaling down. The walk up corridor also looked like it need re-painting or cleaning. So while the staff were great, I would say the suites and perhaps the building needs some cosmetic re-work. On this basis, I can not rank this as a four star resort.

House keeping was terrible but location is great, rooms ate small and their is no fans or a/c's in the rooms hence a little tough in summer

We were never told that the rooms will not be clean during weekends and holidays, if that would have been made clear to us I would not have stayed, I was not looking forward to clean and do dishes etc during my holidays!!! In our last stay Monday was a holiday, 3 days no cleaning!!! The office is also closed during the weekends, therefore if you need anything no one is around to assist, like liquid soap to do dishes...or toile roll etc We stayed in three different occasions at the hotel as we were back and forth from our visit to South Africa; the last one was the worse. The apartment was not clean and luck maintenance, appliances were working but looked old and not taken care of, dryer and kitchen extremely dirty. The building is really nice, location is excellent and pool was great, the management needs to get the rest in place and will be a fantastic place to stay...

So, it should be noted that this is not a normal hotel. It's a semi luxury private apartment building that rents out a small handful of its units. Finding the lobby alone is incredibly challenging as the hotel lobby is acutally on the 2nd floor in an unoccupied apartment with no signage. However, it comes with free parking, and the facilities were nice. The apartment is nicely appointed and fairly spacious. The location is good and everything was secure. On the downside, during our stay, the power and water went out which left us pretty helpless. This is the not the building's fault, but the staff did nothing to help put us at ease. They did not proactively communicate with us, nor did they offer anything for our troubles. We had an International morning flight and couldn't charge any of our electronics, nor could we take showers. It was an incredibly disappointing way to close out our stay there. Again, not their fault, but it would have been nice to have had the staff recognize the inconvenience and try and make it right to their guests.
