The property was very nice with walking paths around and lots of outdoor sitting areas. The pool and hot tub were covered and looked great, but we did not use either. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The only things we would have changed is a softer bed and with the windows behind the shutters open it could be a little noisy. Unfortunately we didn’t notice they were open until we were checking out. Would definitely stay here again.

Pool and Jacuzzi were sparkling clean. Nice breakfast options included. Good location across the street for dining and shopping.

Absolutely loved staying at Poco a Poco. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m back in Monteverde. The room was clean and very comfortable (AC, comfy bed, great bathroom). The property itself is gorgeous with amazing views. The staff are extremely nice. If you’re considering it, go ahead and book.

The staff was super friendly, the drinks were good. However there was a strange smell in our room both nights that we have not experienced anywhere else. We thought it might be the drain, but we closed the washroom door and it was not that. We had to open the windows for a bit to let it air out but the smell came back. We do not know what it was from and since it was our second and last night there we did not inform the property. We faintly smelled it the first night but it was more pronounced the second night. The food at the restaurant was okay (compared to the other places we have been to) but the staff were super friendly so that was nice.

Great hotel! Breakfast was excellent, but the cost of the Restaraunt was very high! Would highly recommend and go back!

Bromelia room had no airconditioning and what made it worse was the main window by the door was mostly fixed glass so air flow in unit was poor. As soon as we would get in the room we left the door open to bring in some fresh air. Also there are no proper closets in this room. On the plus side gardens are beautiful to walk around in the morning with lots of birda and also an agouti.

Only complaint was room not air conditioned. Some rooms have AC some don’t.

The hotel’s restaurant, Otocuma, and its staff is simply amazing. No beed to go out and search for restaurants, you will want to eat there. We had some of the best meals of our trip there. The hotel’s yard and surrounding are so beautiful and relaxing. Perfect after a day of excursions in Monteverde. The room was clean, quiet, perfect for a 2 night stay. We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco.

This hotel was great! Lili was extremely helpful at checkin and, later, when she booked a tour for us. The room was quiet and comfortable; it even came with a half bottle of wine! The bed was very comfy. The restaurant was a few steps away from our room and served excellent breakfasts and a dinner. The server handled special dietary requests very well. The pool area was also quite pleasant.

Excellent staff We forgot pasports and $$ in locker. the staff were very nice and couriered it to our next destination for the next day.. (all intact) kudos…

I strongly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are really comfy, and the food is delicious. They even have options for vegetarians and vegans. I went there with my elderly mother and my sister who recently injured her knee. They were super accommodating, giving us special rooms and parking. You will enjoy your stay at this lovely hotel. I sure did. I'm already looking forward to going back.

The hotel is well maintained around the grounds with a nice walking trail. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was mostly nice except some ants crawling around the coffee maker and the mattress in our room was very used and old; I could feel the springs coming through. I can sleep on the ground w/o issues but someone with back problems wouldn't do well there.

We absolutely loved Poco a Poco! We were booked at a different hotel but left after one night because it was so awful. We are just sad we didn’t get to stay at Poco a Poco longer. It is absolutely the friendliest staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in. We got massages and facials- both were amazing. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. The grounds are just breathtaking. If we come back to Monteverde, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

This place is a dream. To be in the midst of a cloud forest and yet surrounded by a little chique luxury and totally unique pool spa and bar. Breakfast was lush and staff are all so helpful and supremely friendly and speak perfect English. Go there and you will never regret your decision.

I was impressed by this Eco-hotel. Everything is digital, filtered water. The restaurant is amazing! You have options of gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan 💕

On the positive side, good location. Checkin was good, and the restaurant was good. Breakfast at the restaurant was really good. There are a bunch of restaurants <100ft away, and we enjoyed dinner there. On the okay side, room.. yes, just ok. Relatively small, and with just the basic amenities. On the negative side, bathroom.. no exhaust fan and the whole room smells bad after some one had their job inside the bathroom. On top of that, was told to use the garbage can for the toilet papers (really??).. wonder what it would have been like if we had done that. Room had flimsy walls.. when ever some one was walking outside the room, we were able to hear their footsteps, and of course their talk. Our room was just above the pool, and it was quite noisy for a while. And no AC. Wonder how/why this is a four star hotel.

Absolutely amazing hotel. It is beautiful and staff is very friendly and helpful. The gardens in the property were a nice surprise. The pool is covered and warm, so we were able to enjoy during a warm rainy evening. The food in the restaurant was also really good.
