Good Hotel for Budget Trips. It is what it is a Student dorm. Rooms are small but you have everything you need. Huge positive thing are the table tennis and pool table in the common area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the bed was one of the worst I've experience in any paid accommodation.
4.0
A well-located and clean place to stay with good breakfast options. Only 10 mins from both Euston and Tottenham Court Road.

Had to check out a day early for unforeseen reasons but just to make it clear (incase staff reading) nothing wrong with the accomodation. If it's cheaper booking here (of course not possible all year round) than a hotel then it's a good budget option that isn't a hostel or has unexpected fees.

Very convenient for the station. A welcome and tasty breakfast and very pleasant staff.

It was very nice and cozy only super warm and no airconditioning

Well located no-frills place to stay. Student accommodation during term time so you can expect a small room but ideal for a non-fussy solo traveller. Shared toilet / shower facilities. Good WiFi. Reasonably quiet given you're in Central London but some noise in this type of accommodation should be expected. Great value for money
Near to the West End, Regents Park & British Museum

Very hot room and the tap didnt work in the bathroom. However amazing breakfast and location, clean room, quiet. Would definitely use again

Central hostel style perfectly adequate.
Kenny on the front desk made the stay

Place is very clean and safe for travellers. Great breakfast included. Very clean. All female staff on reception exceptional. Staff Only issue was noise until 1am from local bar.

Good London location, good breakfast and good value for money. Morning street noises.

Terrible bed, everything quite run down and dirty feeling. Location is great.

Need signs to display where showers are. And maybe throw a toilet on the floors instead of just the bottom floor, and if there was more toilets on each floor, signs babes

Great value for money. 5 mins walk from Warren Street tube. 15 min walk to Oxford Street.
Breakfast was included - loads of options (cooked, toast, fruit, coffee machine, juices).
Rooms were quiet. Shared separate toilet and showers - but plenty and were clean. Would recommend and stay here again

It was alright for the price. The beds mattress springs dug into our back as well as the mattress sort of dipping in at the middle. There were two male staff members sometimes at the front who were rude at each interaction. The ladies were lovely but the two men were always quite rude to speak to. The windows definitely don't have any form of soundproofing so expect to hear the world outside at night. Breakfast was quite good though, was typical hotel breakfast only difference was it not being self service so had a limit on how much you could grab. Bring your own hair dryer also, not provided.

Basic recommendation but everything I need is there.

Great location, very well connected on tube lines, no more than 5mins in several directions to a number of stations with direct line from London Euston. Great that they allow baggage storage prior to arrival and on day of departure. Room was pleasant, although it was very very hot and the pull out double bed on the back of a desk was very creaky so had a disturbed sleep. Overall, doing London on a budget I was pleased and i would stay again.

Very good value property with easy check in. Room was clean. A good breakfast buffet with restocking prompt.
The one thing i would change would be to upgrade the curtains to block out the early morning sun.
For delicate sleepers, bring ear plugs to blot out the traffic noise - nothing oppressive, just standard central london normal.

Basic student accommodation but clean. I was there on a hot summer night and needed to open the window to get some fresh air into the room. Noise of people chatting at the bar across the road until 1 am, but not too much traffic.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was a communal kitchen with a kettle and tea/coffee, but no usable milk - milk in the fridge was approaching 4 weeks past its use by date.
The room had a wash basin but no ensuite facilites. I had trouble finding the toilets as there were no direction signs but eventually came across them through another door and down a corridor. There appears to be one toilet/shower block per floor - a bit of a trek if you get caught short in the night.
Good wifi, and plenty of power sockets in the right places, including near the bed.
I had to leave before breakfast was served, so cannot comment on that.

Had a great stay! Excellent location. Room sparse but all you need. A bit stuffy as the window did not open very wide. Breakfast filling and tasty

Really happy with this clean hotel

The room and kitchen facilities were great but there was no fan or airconditioner in the room and it was boiling.

Terrible stay. Abrupt and unhelpful reception staff who were very unwelcoming. University students sitting in corridors on arrival. Proceeded to continue to be noisy through stay, late into the night and early morning. Simple things like hand soap missing in shared bathroom very poor. Good quality breakfast was the only positive. Would definitely not recommend or stay again.

We’re a young student couple so this place was perfect for us. Great price, the free breakfast is buffet style and it’s a huge spread. This was so awesome considering London can be quite pricey and this knocked a meal off of the daily expenses while still filling us up. Rooms are small, (we had double bed, sink and desk), but we only needed it for sleeping so it was good. It was a decent location (40 mins walk to Buckingham palace, 20 mins to Camden market). The shared bathrooms was a slight adjustment but it’s worth it considering the price compare to most other London options. We would definitely go back!

Check in was simple and friendly.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. We had lovely fresh towels, toiletries and a sink. Lots of cupboard and drawer space. No kettles in the rooms, but a clean kitchen with kettles, fridges and microwaves.
The showers were lovely. Each cubicle was large and the shower was very efficient.
Large breakfast room with a variety of good quality food, clean tables and outdoor eating space if preferred.
My only criticism - and it is a VERY minor one - was that the hooks for towels and clothes in the showers were L shaped meaning that it was difficult to prevent items from falling on the floor.

Service friendly, breakfast was good, comfortable bed. Room and buildings dated but generally clean and well maintained. Would be happy to stay here again, the only thing that would imrove the experience would be ensuite facilities, but I realise that's not possible.

The stay was excellent value for Central London, but the accommodation was drab. There was a lot of noise within the floor, and the doors all slammed shut. The buffet breakfast was a welcome surprise.

University halls, like Carr-Saunders, are useful for low cost accommodation during student vacation periods. Carr-Saunders is well located, just a few minutes walk West of the Tottenham Court Road on a reasonably quiet street. Staff were friendly, the room was basic yet clean. the shared shower rooms/toilets were unisex, and lacked a place to keep your clothes dry away from the shower, but there was plenty of hot water. There's also a shared kitchen, with a fridge, freezer, microwave, etc (but little by way of cutlery!) Wifi worked fine.

Loved the cooked breakfast. Needs a faster hot drinks dispenser though. Everything was fine

Basic but clean, ideal for if you will be out a lot and just need somewhere to sleep. Breakfast chaotic nightmare with food/crockery not always available, but acceptable considering price. Would stay again.

It’s plain, simple and somewhere to get your head down. No fancy tv, kettle etc. Breakfast was good with plenty. Would use again.
3.0
Good breakfast. Excellent price for location.
Bad check-in: had to come back a few hours after stated check-in time; no instructions on how entry to building worked, led to confusion later.

Whilst this is not the nicest property I have stayed in, for the price paid - it can certainly be overlooked. It had everything required for a budget stay in London when you’re only looking for a bed to rest your head. Not the most fancy of places, particularly when lights in the room don’t work, there’s missing soap etc. But, certainly worth the price paid and the excellent breakfast was a definite bonus.

Lovely halls, wonderful staff (especially at breakfast) and whilst the facilities were cut back due to covid, they still were great.

Didn't know i was staying in a dorm, but it was fun! Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were so kind, patient, and helpful! Can't beat price with location! The room was a little dusty, there were a lot of out of order signs, but i wasn't inconvenienced at all!
